Because of back to back senseless policies.

Subsidy went away and returned like a thief silently.
Naira floated, pegged, then floated again with peg.

I always like to think that Nigeria has seen her best days, soft days , good days, and those DAYS are far long behind us now.

As with life changes, innovations, and inventions and enhancements and advancements are always constant. But the days of saying Nigeria is my country with full chest and shoulders raised High are already behind us.

The few patriots left (of I can count) are greatly what you term the benefits crews of every successive governments.

We're already halfway through March, in saner climes inflation rate is predicted based on socioeconomic indices but here we're being fed with concocted lies.
Even to non economists, the current inflation in Nigeria is obviously more than 40% undecided undecided undecided

You sure you're not mistaking with this stat.

The inflation I'm seeing is like 75.36% o. When a cup of garri is #200 compared to #50 last four months

While country like Argentina with reasonable leader is dropping inflation rate everyday.
The silly incompetent people we have here have no good differences to make rather than make it worse every minute.

Facts on paper makes the suffering looks mild.

On the streets Nigerians are hungry and going through hardship caused by
i. Poor leadership decisions.
ii. insincerity of govt.
iii. lack of political will to salvage the country.
iv. partisanship and nepotism, thereby himdering capable hands in running national affairs.
v. High cost of running the govt and over bloatted spending... just to mention a few.
