You wish but newspapers will still be here for a loooong time because so many legal requirements needs publishing in a newspaper , a simple example is change of name due to change in marital status. Also government contracts are by law to be published in newspapers. Even though many of us are literate and connected to the Internet, a very large percentage of our population are not connected to the Internet and still rely heavily on newspapers and other traditional mediums for information

sad even vendors don decreased drastically unlike on those good days b4 Internet. You'll see 5 to 7 vendors 🏃‍♀️ up/down on main road. They gain much selling newspapers

2005/2006 when Punch was #100 or so. This days a lot of people just read the news online, only the old school papas in their 60s or 70s still buy newspaper.

Since they increased Tuesday Guardian to N250, that's when I stopped buying it..
It used to be very informative...

I was also patronizing those entertainment magazines too, but online don take over
