@ ogasir, there's more you need to learn about business and trading. hoarding can be likened to arbitrage and its a very good way of making huge risk-free return. keep a massive reserve bought at a subsidized price and sell at the market price after subsidy removal. |
Re: Fuel Scarcity To Be Experienced Across The Country By Next Week. by ogasir2011: 11:57am On Dec 09, 2011 |
mustspin: Hoarding can only exist for a while, because competition will definitely be a determinate factor for price in this case- |

what competition are you talkig about, the pms market demand is inelastic, therefore the supply side 'll always go for the optimum price. |

Maximizing profit is different from stealing! The constitution frown at 'obtaining by tricks'. |

@ogasir2011 Civility is the mark of a real man and leader. See, the fact you work for GEJ and earn millions weekly doesnt even change your ghetto-attitude. No wonder GEJ hasnt achieved anything meaningful and has woefully failed to communicate the importance of subsidy removal because his PR teams work in an attack and militia-mode style. Surrounded by a bunch of charlatans like you, who dont even understand the difference between aggressive "ram it down the masses throat" guerilla marketing, and simple Public Relations amazes me. It doesnt take so much to be a success. But it does take a complete change of attitude. If you continue like this, GEJ will end up worse in the public poll than IBB and Abacha combined. Your choice. Sir. And I hope GEJ fires you or BEAF or whoever the hell you are. You are doing his administration a complete disservice and harm. |

Fuel Subsidy def won't be removed this December. NASS hasn't ratified, and there's been no official announcement to that effect. Mischief makers are busy sending txts to misinform people. This alone could make prices go up. |

Port Harcourt petrol stations are notorious for taking the matter to another level, some of them collect extra 50 naira as jerry can fee for 10 litres which you still buy at 800 naira making a total of 850 naira. |
