A40: The Celtics deserve whooping after that loss. They played like they were assured of a W because it was the SIXERS. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 12:00am On Mar 20, 2017 |
A40: Part of a coach's job is to effectively manage his roster irrespective of scheduling. While I agree the NBA's scheduling is tough, I would remind u it has been this way, infact this generation has the advantage with the influence of technology and advanced analytics in managing the health of their players. Have you see the MLB/ NHL schedule? The idea of resting superstars is valid, however, what I am seeing in today's game is the blatant disrespect and abuse of REST.. Coaches target nationally televised games and the chose to rest ALL THEIR SUPERSTARS.. Are you kidding me? Whatever happened to resting one at different times? Why should they all rest games at the same freaking time, and on nationally televised games which tend to attract more fans. It is intentional, and like u said, the fans suffer the most. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:29am On Mar 20, 2017 |
Eruditor:He'll still be re-evaluated around ending of this month.. He should have like 2-3weeks rest even after to be OK before playoff. Warriors need to keep this current pace. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:57am On Mar 20, 2017 |
Roland17:Well they would tell you part of managing their roster is with this rest. The sheer amount of injuries these days mean you can't ignore the impact of the scheduling anymore. Maybe players nowadays are SAWFT but what do we do? Also bear in mind basketball is a much more tasking sport than baseball and with the NHL players play much shorter minutes. In a 60 minute NHL game a Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin or Patrick Kane would play like 25-27 mins max while a Westbrook or Lebron would play 35-40 if need be. Even the NHL recognize the strain the players endure and gave each team a bye week this season. I agree the mass rest is intentional and is probably these teams way of flipping the bird at the NBA to show they are unhappy about the schedule |

Lolawilliams, as you say regular season doesn't matter so far you show up in playoffs. Now do a the favor and drop CP3 and Hassan Whiteside |

SmooshCHN: I can't believe i just got eliminated from the championship bracket. Trust me, there's no way youre beating Lucious . Skywalker5, there's a huge task ahead, Killrhymz roaster aint joking. Lol. I'm not dropping my players, i'm still in the consolation bracket which i'm winning for sure |
Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 3:15pm On Mar 20, 2017 |
lolawilliams: I don't think i can run around Kill-rhymes.He has already been crowned champion from week 2 of the season. |

Eruditor:i was wondering what this was about. you know steph was about to get killed there right ? the two games today are just not that good. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:45am On Mar 21, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: LOL @ killed. You guys should just concentrate on home cooked refereeing because that's what's happening. But who pass you, pass you. 1 Like |

Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 3:04am On Mar 21, 2017 |
Eruditor:You dey answer them? Chef had to give them a statement after Westbrook dey there dey find TDs.. His centers don't even hustle any longer.. OKC isn't going anywhere.. I'm way too happy we're getting back to normal.. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 3:41am On Mar 21, 2017 |
lolawilliams:It's OK dear. Just man up and drop your players. Just two. No one takes Consolation matches serious |

Klay Thompson went berserk |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:32am On Mar 21, 2017 |
It's a simple formula isn't it? Shut out Westbrook and the Thunder go flaccid. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 8:17am On Mar 21, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:There we go again I thought Westbrook said "Who's He?" He's your Daddy!!! Boy |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:33am On Mar 21, 2017 |
SmooshCHN: OKC our perennial b-tches with or without KD. In fact even while he was there they were still chopping it. Make no mistakes refs wanted to help. But Klay and Curry were too hot early in the game. Did you see when Gibson nudged Curry while he was screening and Westbrook who was trying to dribble the ball tossed it up as though he was fouled. Refs gave him 3 FTs for that rubbish. I mean, the same duplicitous MVP-Wannabe was flopping all game like he had watched a bunch of Lebron tapes just before the game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:46am On Mar 21, 2017 |
sapiosexual1: LOL. He wasn't singled out. He is not just as good as his TDs seem to suggest and I was saying it here. You guys were hyping rubbish. Once he cannot run past defenders to the rim, he has no way else of influencing the game yet he is averaging double-figure assists. Curry didn't even go to the line yesterday if my memory serves me well. He flat out outplayed Russell. Tomorrow someone will wonder why the fans will always prefer Curry. "Basketball is not a muscular game. It is a sensular game"- Sound Sultan. |

SmooshCHN: The consolation matches are for draft position for next season |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:20pm On Mar 21, 2017 |
Eruditor:The match was over during the first half. He was too dramatic for me to bear and I enjoyed every bit of his struggles and anguish especially when he feels he can do it all. Westbrook is playing basketball the wrong way. With his athleticism like LeBron, he is supposed to draw attention and get guys involved, let them get hot too but nah, the Nigga loves his TDs and some people are always vaseline ready on that shït. He isn't going anywhere playoffs and won't get the MVP award. Harden or Kawhi takes all. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:35pm On Mar 21, 2017 |
^^ Exactly. That's what I noticed. Curry used the attention to free alot of people to make wide open shots. If KD played that game he would have had 40 by half time. Every single time Russell was with the ball he tried to force himself to the rim. Dude, you have Kanter and Oladipo, use them! He said no and kept forcing things till he got 4 fouls before end of 3rd quarter. I said it from the jump, Russell's style of being MVP doesn't appeal to me. If I was his teammate I'd admire his athleticism but I wouldn't want to play with him. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:03pm On Mar 21, 2017 |
Eruditor:I'll simply pull a LeBron or KD and move my talent. I also want to be great |

Forget the comeback talk, the warriors are back. But hey, i don't know why Eruditor and smooshchn are going berserk. It's not like y'all aren't the best equipped team in the league already, if anything, it's the Cavs who should be worried now. And hey, all these your epistles on Westbrook gets me chuckling, I mean , Hollywood or not, history would remember him for what he has done this season and his name would be mentioned in the same breathe with Robertson. No one cares to know how many soft FTs James gets, all we know is that season by season he climbs up the all time ladder. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 7:07am On Mar 22, 2017 |
sapiosexual1: Disagree with them being the most stacked team. Okay Cavs are without injury. Only difference is Cavs can't seem to play to their potential..YET. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 7:53am On Mar 22, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:I thought you were about to make sane points about Westbrook's play pattern and at the end it had nothing to do with how he made his team better but just his personal accolade. The Warriors are getting their groove back hence comments |

And the Cavs are the most equipped and stacked team in the league. 1 Like |
