if you want to get to the finals the east is the easiest path, but watch all the free agent flock to the west. I thought BG was for sure going to leave the clippers. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:27am On Jul 01, 2017 |
There is no assurance PG13 would remain in OKC next year, i think his decision would depend on how the Thunder fare in the already stacked western conference. Also, how he manages the relationship and chemistry with Russel. Westbrook. This deal is also good for Oladipo who returns to a conference with less expectation and competition. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 8:32am On Jul 01, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: I could bet my bottom dollar he is sure-fire leaving after this coming season. OKC don't have the cap space to pay him and Russell that max deal. Besides, he let everyone know he was eyeing the Lakers. Would you rather spend your money in LA or Oklahoma? Forget winning rings, OKC would be better next season but only that. Thank God no MVP for Russell again 1 Like |

These trades are just leaving me empty Griffin shoulda left PG shoulda gone to the Celtics or Lakers CP3 shoulda gone to the Spurs Hayward shoulda left Warriors and Cavs are having it way too fuckïng easy |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:39am On Jul 01, 2017 |
Decale:Please, kindly remove Warriors from that list.. You can't tell me with all these restructuring in the West you find it easy to still say Warriors are having it easy. Is it until Spurs sign Lowry? Even NBA players are talking of the imbalance already. Cavs are gonna have it easy than before. Is it James vs Antetokounmpo or Derozan? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 11:48am On Jul 01, 2017 |
SmooshCHN: Paul George, Sean Paul, Chris Paul or Chris Brown, if you're not in the right team, the Warriors will still sweep you. East is easier for Bron obviously. The other teams: Wizards and Celtics, haven't made any trades yet. Their own na to keep players. Even Spurs are trying to sign extension contracts now. The only franchise players left are Hayward, Lowry. Davis, Cousins could help deals. Iguodala and Milsap dey but that's just about it. I need a surprise trade that'll take Warriors and Cavs off their comfort zones. So far, you can agree with me it hasn't happened. 1 Like |

Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 2:06pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Decale:The issue here is that the West has doubled or if not tripled the competition. What has the East done? You think teams like Rockets, OKC, Utah wouldn't put Warriors and Spurs on their heels? Or the Wolves won't put pressure on Denver, Grizzlies and Pelicans down at the playoff spot? First it's "The West is as weak as the East", now it's "The Warriors and the Cavs are having it easy". Leave the Warriors and Cavs alone. It's not their fault they keep making great decision to stay on top. In the East, Let's not even begin to imagine what the playoffs there would look like over there. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 2:16pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
SmooshCHN: I no talk say West is as weak as East haba. I said East had more average teams that make their conference very unpredictable, defining the "competition" a little bit relative. West used to have big teams killing the small teams but it seems it's not anymore with these trades. It's going to get crazy in there So, OKC and Utah will put Warriors and Spurs in skates? Fear God oooo. The Rockets sef don dey lose the bench that they are known for, plus they lost a first team defensive player. I think Spurs and Warriors are good You right about East though. It'd get to a point in the playoffs Cavs will start resting players 1 Like |

Ersan: You know Curry put in work, right? From his drafting, injuries to MVP season and following that, one of the most dominant seasons ever by an NBA player. Remained loyal and ate peanuts Tell me another person that deserves a $40m annual pay. I'll wait |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:21pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Decale:Rubio improved to 11pts and 9 asts. Was also averaging 2 stls so he wasn't as bad on defense as people claim. Your personnel and system is the deciding factor as to whether you need a pass first PG. Every team is not going to be blessed with a Steph, Kyrie or Thomas. Remember also that Thibodeau is not exactly an offensive genius. He would need a PG to create efficient looks for Butler, Wiggins and Towns. Plus with the aforementioned guys Rubio won't even be needed for his scoring. This is a guy that can make 10 asts in a quarter Teague is decent but not as good a passer as Rubio. Lmao why trade Rubio only to get Rondo who is older and a relatively poor shooter. Trading Rubio just to get Rondo would be the joke of the century. Their playing style is essentially the same. Plus Rubio is 6 years younger |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:32pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Well deserved Steph Curry. We had wastemen like Oladipo, DeAndre Jordan making double his salary FFS. About time the Chef got paid. The Warriors would be paying luxury tax in the future for sure. But with all that Chase and Silicon Valley Money rolling in. It won't even be a problem. The key would be for guys like McCaw, Bell, Clark to keep developing while the core of Steph, K.D, Green and Klay are there. The moment of truth would be when Klay would be due for a max in a couple of years. If he has 3 or 4 rings would he feel the need to be the guy elsewhere |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:36pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:That Ezeli is a scam. Enemies of progress wanted Golden State to overpay permacrocks like Bogut and Ezeli meh players like Barnes and allow K.D to go to another team. Lmao |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:45pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Lmao at least we know 3-6 is loading. I would move to the West if I were Bron. No point increasing the L's on the Finals record and becoming a rich man's Jerry West. The East is finished For the West I think OKC can be a problem albeit a one season problem. Something tells me George heads to L.A and they trade Ball, Randle, Ingram and a pick to OKC for Westbrook I'm not too worried about the Rockets. Their team as presently constituted can't beat Golden State. Infact OKC stand a better chance. Lowkey OKC pulled off a heist on Indy. Dumped Oladipo's salary, escaped an Ibaka max. Either way they made the best of a bad situation |

I believe if wetstbrook trusts his teammates more (especially P.G) this season..we will be a force to reckon with..at least, he is the nearest thing to K.D.Just my opinion tho.GOOD TRADE FOR ME.. #THUNDERUP |

Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:24pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
lolawilliams: If players can make more from these billionaires, Im all for it. Btw Currys payout is partly because he was on a crappy contract for so long, given how much he meant to the franchise. Considering his patience and maturity in letting Klay and everyone else get their payday, this deal is a good reward. Also sends a message that the warriors will treat their players right. I dont know that i can say that about rockets |
