Geri Alimi round-about in ILORIN IS BURNING right now.

Soldiers guard a petrol station (NNPC/SULU OLOJE) along Asa-dam road; people seem unhappy with ongoing sales of petrol there.

Port Harcourt is quite, Banks, Schools, Govt offices remain closed. No Protest Anywhere. The allegation in town by Human Rights Groups and it's all over the airwaves is that Labour Officials collected money from Amaechi after visiting government house yesterday and called off the Protest that was supposed to take of from Isaac Boro Park. They ( NLC/TUC) distributed money to people gathered at the start up point to go home and observed the strike.

The shameful thing is the NLC secretary was on radio to say yes they gave money for " Pure Water and Transport"!

The remains Heavy Security presence, shops and markets are backing in business. No Fuel except at NNPC stations, transport fare if high.

I hate pulling the ethnic string but as far as this ongoing protest is conerned, I must say the average Igbo man/women has no conscience and can be easily bought over with a pot of pottage.

See these mgbatis, people at the fore front of these protests even in Lagos are Igbos. No, you dont like money, but sold your illustrous sons to your masters Hausa/Fulani. We have seen how you people retaliated the slaughter of , MKO, Fela, Bola Ige, Kudirat and humiliation of your soldiers by Abacha. When it starts getting tough, you guys will take to your heels. Bunch of cowards and mouthy people
