Cant help but marvel @ the display of ignorance here. If the video is indeed true, how can anyone is his/her right senses regard protestin police as 'commendable'?

Even more suprisin is to see comments asking the army to join the protest!! Do you know what mutiny is?

Dont get me wrong, i'm as ripped of as you guys over the subsidy issue, but this protest by uniformed men is not the way to in about it. Its an invitation to real anarchy ie TOTAL breakdown of law and order. Pray we never experience it.

did you say real anarchy ?

the last time i checked in my dictionary, Inflicting untold hardships on  masses with no pallative measures is an invitation to REAL ANARCHY!
Na the same grammar we dey talk! Anarchy, Real Anarchy are brother and Sister , children of the same father and mother.

GEJ asked for it and it 's on the way

Poster, does that video look like a protest to you? It's clearly an anti-protest drill.  Mod, pls edit this misleading title.

Doesn't seem like a protest to me. In any case, they will lose thier jobs if they do protest.

THE TRUE REASON TO OCCUPY NIGERIA
There is no sector in the Nigerian economy that has been deregulated and is performing poorly. Telecoms company in Nigeria today pay the highest amount of tax to the government with MTN almost single-handedly sponsoring the last world-cup is South Africa with money made from the Nigerian economy as compared to the initial state of NITEL. In aviation Nigerian airlines serve the whole of west African countries with the likes of Arik and Air Nigeria competing with the best airlines in South Africa and Kenya compared to the days of NIGERIAN AIRWAYS. The protest should be channeled towards corruption in Government, social inequalities, bogus allowances for electoral officers and high cost of running government, insecurity and failure of our public education system and social infrastructure (Pipe borne water and Electricity). This is our chance to occupy the country for a true transformation, Godbless Nigeria

with the death of a protester in Ilorin, this may mark the beginning of the arab spring. This is a fight to finish. This is the revolution we have been waiting for.the tempo will continue to grow daily and I pray that the military take over this govt.Even the khaki boys couldnt try this. The suffering will be best imagined if the govt should get away with this evil agenda.Bad leaders.

The fact that Nigerian Police is joing in the protestests, has further confirmed my conviction that the Federal Goverment was right in removing the subsidy.
