On the Zola Levitt program, Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist now Christian evangelist, said that when he saw the Greek symbol that is translated in the Bible as 666, he immediately read it as the Arabic character “Bismillah” (some spell Bismilla) which means "in the name of Allah."

There are 6,666 verses in the Koran.  There is at least one sect of Islam (Bahattin Uzunkaya) that considers the number 666 as well as the number 19, to demonstrate the perfection of the Quran and the proof that Mohammed is the prophet of Allah.

Atleast use some common-sense, to ask why Jesus said he had to leave before the comforter would come, and the Muhammad pbuh teachings abides forever, you are such a joke, Jesus could not save himself from death, first he prayed, then he cried, then he asked for swords, then he told his diciples to watch, then his diciples slept, then he ws arrested, indicating he could even save himself from arrest, then he was judged, then he was beaten black and brown, then he was given a cross to carry, then he was made to accuse God of forsaking him, I say indeed one must agree with: this post indeed:

One of the things I have come to learn is that it is anti-Islam for a man to claim to be God - this is perhaps one of the reasons why they deny the Sonship of Jesus claiming instead that He is merely a prophet. But putting that aside lets look at what 2 Thess 4 says:

3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

What is the temple of God? Is it a future rebuilt Jewish temple? or is it the New Testament church?

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Cor 3:16, see also 2 Cor 6:16).

The temple of God is the new church so the man of sin will sit in the loftiest position in the church declaring himself to be God. How could a muslim accomplish this? The muslims may be anti-christ in a sense but John defines for us who the anti-christs are:

18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. They went out from the church but they were not really of the church.

@Hutchie, you failed to read the book of 1 John 2 all the way to the end of the context. Verse 22 said and I quote

22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

You see all the false religions that deny the Son, can and are classified as antichrist. I am sure you follow this board properly and you can see what our brothers reveal from their book.

The above passage you quoted sums it up exactly. Who is the person that exalts himself above God, that demanded for Jesus Christ to worship him, that always says he is God but in actual fact he is not?

The prophecy said for the comforter to come, he - Jesus would have to leave, indicating clearly the comforter was human, not the Holy ghost who visited Jesus severally!

If you read my post again you will note where I said the muslims are anti-christ in a sense. But I was attempting to show that the anti-christ that John was talking about came out of the Christian faith though they were not really of the faith.

Strong's Concordance says this of the greek word antichristos: "antichrist, either one who puts himself in the place of, or the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah"

So the anti-christ is an enemy of Christ but also puts himself in place of Christ.

The is no singular anti-Christ as mentioned in the bible. There are anti-Christs.

There is also no single Man of sin but Mankind in general. Mankind will become more lawless and totally out of order before the coming of Christ.

We see it in the church, in society and in personal homes.

Let us be clear, Islam represents some kind of beast as prophesied in the bible, but it does not on it's own represent number 666.

666 is the number of rebellious man. The mark of sin.

The children of God have the mark/seal of God on their foreheads.

But you also have to be aware that Orthodox Jews and religious Jews are more anti-Christ than Islam.

Simply because they do not attach any importance to the person of Christ and in their Talmud often employ the use of very derogatory terminology to describe him.

So even though ISLAM is anti-Christ in terms of the concept of Messiah, they still respect and revere him. Orthodox Jews on the other hand despise him.

My fear for the church is the unholy alliance with these sects led and orchestrated by John Hagee.
