who is a desperate woman

IN Nigerian context a deperate woman is seen as one who wants to be hooked up in
marriage by all means
i hope this answers your question otherwise make it clear

A desperate woman does not neccessarily mean someone who wants to hook a man down in marraige.It could mean someone who would do anything to be in a particular position,sleep with anyone or anything to get money,do anything in particular, like kill someone to get rich and famous.
That is what i think is how to define a desparate person.

Is there a universal definition of a desperate woman?
Anyway, in my opinion, a desperate woman is one that will lay aside all her values and throw away her identity & dignity based on a clingy emotional drive that suggests to her that she can have what she wants if she gives all she has even before been asked.

My definition:  A selfish self absorbed unstable woman who will accept, give and do anything no matter what the reprecussion is to get what she wants.

A desperate woman is a woman that will do anything to achieve/satisfy her needs in life
and they are everywhere
