So we have a winner, CORRUPTION. CORRUTION has been killing Nigerians from the 1960's. But other listed killers only started between the late 1970's& 80's. CORRUPTION has eaten so deep into our national fabric, that it kills us both in and out of Nigeria. Its really sad. cry cry

Corruption!

The Nigerian political elite are responsible for mass murder!

When you divert for personal gain, money that was meant for providing for millions be it for health, security or education, you are denying a whole generation of their rights.
Poverty leads to impoverishment of a nation for years to come.

If I divert the money meant to supply drugs from my local hospital and refuse to invest my allocated budget on health, them I am responsible for every child under 5 who dies from malaria, every adult who dies from the lack of basic resuscitation equipment after an accident and every child who is disabled for life from a simple preventable disease such as polio

Remove corruption and see the average life span of a Nigerian rise year on year

Word!

Road traffic accidents? Well still linked to corruption
Are the roads in a safe and satisfactory condition? No!
Why not?
CORRUPTION!

The corruption formula applies to everything in Nigeria, whether it's road traffic accidents, infant or maternal mortality or falling standards in education.

I think d greatest killer of d average nigerian is d "unknown ailment" a.k.a. "protracted illness" a.k.a. "sent by one aunty in d village" a.k.a. "awon aiye". All these are just other names for "wrong diagnosis" & thats why someone in the very early stages of an organ failure may first be treated for malaria. Whose fault now?

Re: Of The Followings, Which Is The Highest Killer Of Nigerians? by pinnochio(m): 11:42am On Jan 22, 2012
Of course we all know dat d vast majority of nigerians have no access to quality healthcare. apart from the 4 or 5 major city-states of Nigeria there are still like 31 other states inhabited by like 100million nigerians. AND SO THE CORRECT & BOTTOMLINE ANSWER IS: GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION.

#but we all knew dis b4#
Re: Of The Followings, Which Is The Highest Killer Of Nigerians? by Kelvin172(m): 11:43am On Jan 22, 2012
That is how some people normally fail waec, jamb or neco, simple question with simple answer. Road accident kills most coz everyday people die in different location as result of accident.
Re: Of The Followings, Which Is The Highest Killer Of Nigerians? by pharmow: 11:48am On Jan 22, 2012
None of the option is an answer, nothing kill as much as poverty in this country. Think of millions of nigerians that are dying of treatable diseases such as malaria, typhoid, chholera, diarrhoea etc due to the fact that they cant afford money to treat themselves. It is a shame that there is no stat to prove this

The major Factor That kills Nigerians alot is Corruption emanating from the leaders

And the effects of corruption according to the poster"s Options are:

1. Boko haram bombings and insurgency sponsored by corrupt leaders
2. Bribery and Corruption on the side of Nigerian police which result killing of the innocent citizens
3. Bad roads causes accident, spending and looting funds allocated for road construction.
4. Unemployment causes Armed robbery, looting funds that are meant to create jobs for the citizens
5. Poor Health care kills an Hiv/Aids patient. Looting the funds For quality health care delivery.

Stop Corruption, It kills Nigerians

Nigerians kill themselves with their tribalism ǡŋ₫ 'suffering ǡŋ₫ smiling' motto.

Corruption is as Ǟ result ☺₣ the society one finds himself, na only our leaders corrupt?

These days you even have to bribe the security guard to get into Ǟ building for Ǟ job interview.

Nigerians themselves are corrupt Ŝ☺ make nobody call government like say na only them dey do am.

BH has top the list followed by NPF
Re: Of The Followings, Which Is The Highest Killer Of Nigerians? by Veron23: 12:38pm On Jan 22, 2012
It starts from the leaders. The citizens emulate from the leaders.
And that is why an average Nigerian collects bribe, because they see their
leaders doing it and going free
Leadership is by example.
