Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by dejust(m): 5:22pm On Jan 27, 2012
The stage is just set for another drama. Wada is a party to this case that is against his boss now, but Echocho who was forced out of the context has interest in the judgement because, he was the initial flag bearer of PDP.

That mad man is the new governor. But what hould will expect from a governor who was once reffered to UCH due to madness, who later fled the premises of the hospital without completing his treatment. Oh God! I weep for my fellow Kogites. we are yet to experience good governance since the past 13yrs. so sad. . .

D Cj of federation has nullify swearing of Idiris Wada. Kogi State there are issues 1. Cj should go to court get an order. B4 sack Wada 2. Speaker can not be sworn in when there is elective Governor 3. Chocho has good case to be the governor. Kogi is next legal dream to see.
Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by Marlboro1: 8:01pm On Jan 27, 2012
Wada was recently elected to take over from current governor and was only waiting to be sworn in. Other states will have to conduct an elections. Wada should be duely sworn in. There is no basis for the speaker to be sworn in here.

Echocho has no case.
He didn't stand for election in April, he only won pdp pry
HE bought the ticket for the last pry, scored 1 vote; he shouldn't have participated at all if he didn't approve
HE lost the last pry, unlike amaechi who won his but was edged out, therefore he cannot be said to be the authentic pdp candidate.
Kogi has suffered sha grin grin grin

to refer to a 25 year veteran in aviation is quite unfair. it's public knowledge that pilots undergo regular mental checkup; if he was sane enough to fly planes full of people, then he's sane enough to stand for an election. whether he has the competence to govern a state is entirely another gist cool
Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by Acidosis(m): 8:11pm On Jan 27, 2012
This issue is more of tribal conflict. The chief judge is an igbira man, so he had no choice but to swear in the speaker, who also happens to be an igbira man. while the governor elect (igala man) was sworn in by a judge of a customary court of appeal, also an igala man. But wada to me is so daft to have allowed himself sworn in by a mere judge even while the chief judge was readily available.
Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by KnowAll(m): 8:13pm On Jan 27, 2012
This is not about d speaker any more looks echocho has a very good case going by precedence here.
Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by pokur: 8:17pm On Jan 27, 2012
If indeed Wada was 'sworn' in by the Customary Appeal court president instead of the state Chief Judge, then his oath is a nullity from the get go as the Constitution specifies that only the CJ or Acting CJ,at the federal and state level, has the legal authority to swear in the head of the executive.
Re: Confusion In Kogi Over Supreme Court Judgment by KnowAll(m): 8:32pm On Jan 27, 2012
Is this wada for real, a man that can submit himself to that sham precided by a customary court President is a crook and does not have any concrete plans for d state. This gentleman is in a hurry to go and steal, na waoh, high drama in Nigerian politics.

I thot the former Governor Ibrahim Idris read law in University of Abuja? Initially, news was that the Chief Judge was not around. Means He has something to hide and could not trust his Speaker except His In-law

*rolling*. Its a pity GEJ would prefer to use the powers of the court to remove his enemy from office and cause this great conflict in the country than let sleeping dogs lie. Like someone said PDP magic.

Correction
Echocho won PDP primary
Amaechi also worn PDP primary
None of the two had their names submitted to INEC
The only difference is that there was a 2nd primary election in Kogi which purported to nullify Echocho's mandate
There was no 2nd primary election in the case of Amaechi
