To be sincere in all fronts everyone ȋ̝̊̅§ corrupt but the level of corruption differs,as for the bill į̸̸̨τ̲̅ ȋ̝̊̅§ not necessary,the most important thing is attitudinal change.

I think its too harsh as most of the people that will die are not will not be government officials (especially if it is at all levels)

I support the bill, though i am not blood thirsty but if you kill a number of corrupt officials it will send fear 2 the spine of those who are yet 2 come in.

Corruption get levels,that is what they are using in China.Anybody holding public office in china,find corrupt will be prosecute and if the person find guilty that is the end of the person and that family name cannot contest for any reasonable post in china as a country!

No I will not. What will happen is that someone who steals e.g 1 million naira is then inclined to steal 200 million naira since they all have the same consequences and of course following this, if someone who steals such a large amount of money manages to escape to a country which doesn't allow the death penalty, it will be next to impossible to repatriate them for punishment.

It would be better for Nigeria to enforce the laws that are already in the books as they are.

Those that are stealing are also killing thousands (if not millions) of our people, through poverty, bad road, bad health care and so on.

I am new on this site even though I have been following the posts for quite some time now. As per corruption, my recommendations are as follow:

(1) All corrupt persons should be executed by firing squad of 7 rangers. They must be shot 50 times at close range e.g. 4 metres

(2) Their execution must be broadcast LIVE on all TV stations, as well as, radio stations. These broadcasts must be regular.

(3) This punishment must be sustained for at least 15 years. By that time, we shall be used to such a death penalties and corruption would have been almost , if not totally eliminated.

Let us check out the methods of death by firing squad below and suggest the best for Nigeria

Yes ooo !!!. Lets do it the China style.Or at least, life sentence. It is just too much. If Nigeria is to survive and progress, we will have to do something radical about corruption.
