Mrs, Chima:Depends on the age range! Like pendo said, if it's more than 45, then it's not love and if you are not getting married for love, it's pointless! It's quite common here, where young ladies get married to old men as old as 70. But the problem they face is that the man, could get blind, deaf very sick, very needy and they are just too young to be in that kind of situation! What i mean "too young" is their emotional development. There are some scenarios a young lady just cant handle! Before long, she starts sleeping around with younger men and when the man dies, she re marries. . . and to a younger man! So what is her point getting married to him in the first place? I'm thinking Money! Mrs, Chima:Yes i agree! The chances of a 30 year old is not the same as a 35 year old or a 40 year old! Men have different criteria. True |

@Topic Since there's no age range, I'll answer it in my own way. For me, I prefer a younger guy (25-35) over an older man. Some young guys are really smart with a lot of potentials, not all of them are struggling financially and not all of them are cowards. I'll rather grow old with my physically fit bobo, than be with a deja vu old man who might just die tomoroow. No offence really. Then again, there are some circumstances that could make me adjust a little bit. But anything above 40 is a big no no for me. I'm a young woman, why would I waste my youth on a 50 yr old man? |

Age and maturity don't always correlate. At the end of the day, how someone acts in a relationship would have more to do with their character than their age. You can meet a young person who would be more mature, better behaved and wise than an older person and you can meet an older person who would portray those attributes much better than an older individual. So, it usually boils down to the person and not their age. |

Btw, why are so many women looking for men who are financially stable? ![]() Must be an effect of globalization because if everyone is looking for a financially stable man, most of these men wont marry until they're in their late thirties to early fifties. Quite a lot of younger males who are financially ok, arent that interested in settling down, and when they do, tend to go for women outside their locality. So i could be wrong but it seems to me that if you're waiting for a man to be rich before you marry, then your wait might be a long one unless you have some thing or some qualities that put you above the competition. Yes, its true some men turn out to be ingrates but i'm still not sure one should generalize. |

Just went through the list again and noticed another error. Being older doesnt automatically mean a man will be family oriented. And being younger doesnt mean a man wont love his family or take care of them. |

Growing older doesn't necessarily mean growing up. The later rarely happens for most men. That's why you can find a bunch of idiotic men in their 30s who reason like toddlers. ![]() Take these two scenarios. 1. A 35-year old guy who farts and belches aloud in a poor attempt of displaying his humorous side, or 2. A focused, very intelligent and responsible 24-year old guy. What would you ladies rather have? Oh! Did I neglect to mention the older guy still lives in his mama's house and is a bouncer in a popular casino in the city? ![]() |

It's the height of folly (not to mention laziness) to assume just because a man is older, therefore he'll be better at relationships than a younger one. Quite hilarious, really. I suspect this has more to do with inheritance issues (older man vs younger- do the maths for the woman in question). The only area in which a scheming woman might have an advantage when choosing an older man over a younger one is the older man is likely to be less picky and choosy about who he dates, than most of the younger men. |
| Re: Ladies, Are Older Men Much Better In Relationships Than Younger Men? by Good Girl: 1:02pm On Feb 07, 2012 |
tpia@: True. Besides, if the woman is the type that gets turned on by the sight of $, £, €, ¥ and ₦, she's bound to experience multiple orgasms with the older man, the assumption here being that the older man has managed to accumulate more resources than his younger counterpart. tpia@: Maybe it's because there's an elastic limit to man's vanity, after which other factors such as intelligence, personality and compatibility take precedence over boobs, cheekbones and arse. I could be wrong though. |

Maturity isn't always a result of age. Any can be good in a relationship so long as the person has matured. |
