why all the headache about Rooney's 'best' position? Why must every manager(club/country) speak on this topic? It's a simple question demanding a simple answer, not epistles.

3) When things got difficult in midfield Fellaini of little talent stood up like a man while the more talented Pogba ambled around like a man still doing his warm ups....the boy is naturally lazy, he is loftus cheek's mentor
4)Blind and Bailly were not at their best also and even their passing was off.
5) Then you can talk of Rooney or Zlatan or the other guys.
Rooney is a problem in this team generally but he is not the only problem AND in this particular match the problems were Mourinho, Mkhi,Lingard and Pogba
Blaming Rooney first every time something goes wrong is a very lazy and simplistic way of addressing the problem

That match could have gone either way even if it were Madrid or Barca hitting

It's revenue aka ur total sales, I'm more interested in the profit considering fat debts and fat wage bill that need to be serviced.

Rooney is not the only problem affecting Utd but I trust Pep for one thing..........He would BS the world & send Rooney on loan OR sell him off @ OLX.

He's always liked Rooney for a long time. I don't see him dropping Rooney soon to be honest.

as long as Pep keep winning he has all the power in city.
though I expect some drama when kompany Is finally fit.

For someone that has suffered the full wrath of player power / revolt, José's patience is understandable.

In other news Herrera seems to have played his way into Jose's heart. He's been getting lots of praise from the manager recently.

I think we should give Jose more time on Rooney sha.. benching fatso will be a gradual process....

[b]It's club politics, I remember in my Freshman year in College fresh on a scholarship, the school usually has space for just 9 full scholarships so the coaches end up splitting how they utilize it to get the best players...Maybe 1 or 2 get full scholarships the others get partial and it be split to 14 people or so to attract the best talent...Think of it like a wage bill.

It's utterly embarrassing to have a player on 200g Sitting on the bench


There was this senior with me on full scholarship, the guy was shitty in games and Even though we had non scholarship players that could do a good job, he wasng benched throughout his bad form till we started dropping points.


The coach did this just so he wouldn't look like a for offering him scholarship.



The same applies for Rooney, Mourinho is hoping he will find his lost form or it's all about sentiments, think of all the money to be made if he broke Sir Bobby record..
