02/09/2014 01:30, Report by Communications Department Manchester United sign Falcao on loan Manchester United is delighted to announce that Radamel Falcao has joined the club on a one-year loan deal from AS Monaco, with an option to buy at the end of the loan period. Falcao, 28, became a Monaco player in 2013 after very successful periods at Atlético Madrid, where he made 91 appearances, scoring 70 goals and became the first player to score a hat-trick in a single-legged UEFA Super Cup; and formerly at FC Porto, making 87 appearances and scoring 72 goals. Radamel Falcao said: “I am delighted to be joining Manchester United on loan this season. Manchester United is the biggest club in the world and is clearly determined to get back to the top. I am looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal and contributing to the team’s success at this very exciting period in the club’s history.” Louis van Gaal said: “I am delighted Radamel has joined us on loan this season. He is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the game. His appearance-to-goal ratio speaks for itself and, when a player of this calibre becomes available, it is an opportunity not to be missed.” MUFC official. |

Bimfo: falcao was diego costa's father when they were both at athletico madrid in 12/13. falcao scored 28 league goals in 34 apps costa scored 10 league goals in 31 apps. there's a difference between quality & quantity. chelsea should get ready for another falcao brütal assräpe in october. |

coogar: Lol! Yes, Falcao was 28 then, Diego was 23.. Diego's 31 apperances was mostly from the bench.. but U know, that was then.. Falcao never won the La Liga.. Fortunately Diego won it, with the same team Falcao played for within a Year.. And pls can U remind me the number of goals Diego scored last season because for u to know his tally for 12/13 season, U should also check his 13/14 Season's tally. there's a difference between quality & quantity. chelsea should get ready for another falcao brütal assräpe in october. Radamel Falcao finally sealed a £6m season-long loan move to Manchester United at 1.30am, in the transfer window’s most eye-catching deal of deadline day, after the club were granted an extension to conclude the move. With the striker’s salary of £190,000 a week being paid by United the agreement was set to cost the club at least £16m, with the 20-times champions having an option to buy Falcao next summer from Monaco. 1 Like
