Isreal is particularly concerned over Iran's nuclear program but considering the fact that Iran has always reiterated that its nuclear program is for medical research and not for military purposes. Israel has mainly relied on the US in order to attack Iran but events unfolding in the past days shows that US is not ready for such attack on Iran particularly considering the fact that this is an election year for US where Obama is also a contender. Is Israel's fear reasonable or justifiable? We should also note that China and Russia are solidly behind Iran and these countries are not to be joked with on the international scene. Are we heading for another WW3?

Israel should not waste time to attack people that said that they should be wiped out from the face of this world. Imagine if Iran succeeds and sends one to Israel, killing everybody. Even if America attacks them then, it will be only the military cos the whole world will say they should not kill innocent civilians but meanwhile Israel would have been eliminated from the face of the earth. Israel should act faster than they are doing now. They should send in their unmanned fighter jets to destroy all their nuclear plants. |

^^^ Exactly what USA said about Russia .The same way the World said India and Pakistan would destroy each other once any of them acquires the nuclear technology.The real reason both Israel and USA etc fear a nuclear Iran is more of power and influence in the Middle east period.They can't afford to lose power and become fair in dialogue or issues as long as the middle east remains. The dreaded terrorist groups world wide still have barely any Iranian citizens. Yet US is more apprehensive of Iran than all the countries that have al-qaida members.eg Egypt,Yemen,Saudi Arabia! why is it so?Iran may not have an open society ye they have a better democratic system than most of the western allies of the middle east.Who are known tyrants or monarchy. The Issue is not about Nuclear armament or wars,but about power control in the middle east.Iran knows about the Israel weapons and knows to well that it amounts to a MAD(mutual assured destruction ) in any one tries to use it.The weapons are mostly for deterrent.Funny enough that world wide only one nation has actually used such weapons and we is US!!!! |

Just yesterday,the isreali ambassador to nigeria,moshe ram was in unilorin to deliver a lecture. What he said about isreal-iran relationship was that Isreal has the right to defend itself. The animosity of iran was beyond him,he claimed. I agreed with him. The iranian president indeed said he wants to wipe isreal off the map. No mistranslation.or zion whatever. The ambassador also claimed Isreal does not have nuclear capabilities.I do not believe that. In summary, I think Isreal has valid reasons to oppose iran nuclear ambition. |

Obama has just said it in white house that us troops are not going anywhere anytime soon. Israel should go ahead and attack iran alone then. We should also note that israel did not heed the us when us told them to stop building on some lands in gaza.
