@mompurity2, also experienced it and was diagnosed with malaria shortly after it started. I wrongly assumed it would go after I recovered. It had nothing to do with the malaria. It gave me sleepless nights but I didn't even notice exactly when it stopped. It just did one day.

No, am in PH, maybe some hospitals operate with that policy. During my last preggy, a friend had to arrange a third party which I had to pay for donation, eventually I didn't have need for it.

@cutienik, am also using a govt facility, was told about the scarcity even @ military hospital since its a rare group. Am yet to book for the injection, will do so when uncle bubu settle us, besides the pharmacy won't want to keep it upto a month, will wait until I get to 37 or 38weeks next month. I pray the dollar price continues to reduce.

Meanwhile abeg my fellow mamas did u wash ur baby's clothes. I read on babycenter that we should wash all the clothes u bought. The baby's skin is sensitive and u don't know what was used to store the clothes or wat cAme across it on the shelves they were kept.
It seems logical but when I look all the battlion of tins I don buy. Wey the strength to wash and iron them. Why I buy brand new cloth na Is it not suppose to be clean?

Abeg sabi mamas did anyone go tru the pains of washing and ironing brand new clothes before LO arrival??

More tips.
We pray for a supernatural delivery buh a tear or episiotomy can be part of the package.
To shiit afterwards can be hard. To make it easier.
- dont hold your shit back during delivery. Empty those bowels babe!
- drinks lots of water after delivery.
- dont eat solids for the first day! Yes! Drink fluids a lot to replace the body fluids you will be losing rapidly and to ease poo.
- eat fibrous fruits. Stay away from smooth ones like apples and bananas...heard they are callers of constipation.
I did them and despite really serious tears, I never had problems going to the loo those first few days.
