Motherhood no easy o, na so we go 4 2nd immunization yesterday, I no sleep cos I was so anxious, going out 4 the 1st time with my baby, I woke dh more than 4times @ night asking 4 the time the guy go just look me shake head, wen it was 4am, I ask if we should start getting ready cos I wasa told we av to be there early... Hmmm d guy just ask me if na me wan go open gate.
Anyways, we no sleep all tru yesternight, mehn! My cutie was just panting like a woman in labor n running temperature.. thank God we re over that now n I think my complexion is coming back small small , though my neck still black n I still av some marks but it's worth it

Just started lurking on this thread last month though i had my LO in Sept 16.
My first baby had dis eye discharge thingy. It was said to be an infection baby got from the birthcanal on his way out.
In addition to cleaning ur LO's eyes with clean cloth/ cottonwool dipped in saline solution, docs prescribed some eye drops which i cant confidently say worked.
Some mama's however, swear by dropping breastmilk in d baby's eyes, so u can try that since it is natural.

Note that the eye cleaning should be done from the inner corner to outer corner of d eye in one swipe. If u must clean more dan once, please change cottonwool or use another corner of the clean cloth to avoid re-infection. Nothing to worry about though

Indeed, God is mighty, he has been faithful. What can we say but thank u Lord Jesus, you said yes to Team January mums n today we are joyful mothers of children. There was no loss of any kind, non cast her young not evn a single miscarriage . We all deliverd safely, our babies are all healthy. Even those that are porting to this beautiful month of February have deliverd safely because it is their heritage from team january n it is already written in d spiritual. Thank u Jesus, we love u.

I woke up on 18th Jan by 5am 2discover something dripping on my bed, at close observation, I discovered my water jst got broken. Dh jumped 4rm d bed 2help me finish packing my baby's bag. Den we left 2d hospital by 6am. I was jisting all tru cos I wasn't in pains bt was Jst scared dat my baby will b preterm as my edd was nt even close.
Fast forward 2 8am wen I got 2d hospital, checked in 2d labour ward n was given a bed. Started reading my ODM 2ease d fear inside of me as I was hearing other mothers in labour scream their lungs out. Bt wen I cud not settle dwn in d tense environment ,I jejely sneaked out of d labour ward 2d car dwn stairs 2go stay n while away time with my family n play with my lip princess.

Although I was asked 2stay in bed 2reduce d draining cos I also observed that wen I stand up,d water kips gushing out. I was changing sanitary pads constantly, bt I still stayed in d car 4abt 3hours. I later went up stairs 2check if my absence was noticed. Crawled on my bed n was waiting 4labour pain 2commence actively...during which I witnessed d birth of 2babies live. Den a woman was brought in, in active labor n I was asked 2vacate my bed space as she was already 9cm n d labour ward was packed full. It was an answered prayer for me cos l was sure my bp wud have risen if I stayed dia longer than dat. I was transferred 2d recovery room 2wait 4d real deal or else I wud b induced.

awww,sorry dear. I'm a ftm too. I don't know about meds but just know we care. I've been having it too and I understand your fear,I have it sometimes too but if you don't try you won't know what you can keep down.

Teamie, Please eat ooo. just try to put something down your tummy for the sake of your little one. Even if its pap or the likes, just start with something. It is well and we shall all carry to term by God's grace.

Sorry dear, its sometimes like that. It's just for the main time, before you know it first trimester will be over as most women feels okay and better in the second semester. but being scared of food is not so good for you now. Try to eat something, force your self because of your coming bundle of joy.
As for the avomi, i dont know about it but i think some other mama will enlighten you more on it.

I feel some of my horrible first trimester symptoms returning and I'm just praying against it. Horrible heartburn, nausea and throwing up for no reason. Atleast they ain't so frequent and my appetite is still here. Anyone else in the same shoes?
