Consultant:

Hi,

so I was wide awake through it all. How did I manage the pain? TV. Seriously. I was watching "the price is right", my favorite game show while I was pushing. I even managed some comments - groooaaaan, why is she bidding that stupid price, grooaaan, breeeaaatheee, what a crappy prize, I would get the price wrong so that I don't have to take that home with me, breeeaaathhe, groooaaaan. Anyway, you get the picture.

So now I have two bundles of joy, and I tell you AGAIN, it is definitely worth the pain.

OMG! you're so funny grin grin cheesy cheesy grin

yes oo, so you're so right! it's worth all those cries, tears, pushing and fears!

hearing their first cry, makes everything worthwhile kiss kiss

awww they're sooo cute!!!

Just saw your post today. Maaaaany years after. I'm sure u'd probably have another baby now.
Your post gave me courage that I'd be able to bear it when my time comes. Always wondered what it was like to have a baby as u hear all kinds of stories.
All the best with your young family.

Consultant, just coming into this thread and its splendid. Very real and candid. Also balanced. Was in stitches when I cam to the hubby reading your mind. Wise man!

Induced labour certainly is no piece of cake but it does make the birth faster and safer. 2 of my 4 deliveries were 'assisted' by hormonal induction. My 2nd delivery was virtually a whizz, practically PAIN-FREE yes I mean I delivered him without any pain, I did not 'labour' he just popped out 5 minutes after I arrived in the hospital.

Would love for you to share your in this link pls:http://www.nigerianparentsforum.com

i've always bin anticipating d day i'll go 2 d theatre n put 2 bed,but each tym i ask my friends bout d experience i notice dey feel very uncom4table wit d question n choose not 2 talk bout it (4 reasons known 2 dem) i'm surprised d consultant gave a vivid analysis of wot it is 2 birth a child n i appreciate dat.i cant wait 2 be pregnant too even though i dont like d sight of pregnant women around me (because dey always look untidy, scruufy n careless bout their looks except 4 few girls i know who still fix their nails, eyelashes n r very fashionable even during their pregnant state).however getting pregnant or birthing a child is not an issue 4 me (or most gals of my age in d early/mid 20's,if i'm not mistaken) infact its joy 4 u knowing dat u r carrying ur lover n best friends child, but its an issue when d guy dat gets u pregnant dont give a hoot bout u like he used 2 be 4 or finds u repulsive or annoying or decides 2 deliberatly stay away wen u nid him most.though i understand d fact dat some pregnant women could be impossible sometimes but if u rilly wanna know how romantic or loving ur husband is,its not when d tyms r good like wen u where dating, honeymooning or few months afta marriage wen d going is still good, its wen u really want 2 birth ur child n he's with u encouragin n comforting u n bin helpful.i'm not married though but any tym i pray i tell God 2 give me d man dat will stick with me tru thick and thin,i'd also want him 2 video me and take pictures of me,infact i want him 2 be physically present truout my delivery so he'll really know wot it is 2 be a woman and know how he'll treat me with regards 2 sex n oda issues.now i understand when shaggy says dat so amazing how dis world was made,i wonder if God is a woman,d gift of life beats me till dis day, give it up 4 d woman(meaning d birthing of a child) cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool
