In the 1980s ₦200 was $150 or more. In 2012, ₦18,000 is $113. Now I've been wondering, so our Naira was as high as the Dollar in the 1980s. How, why, where and who misled us? Who caused our Naira to fall so low? If you are very current or have knowledge of our leaders during that decade (1980) till the year 200s, you'll remember that Shagari started that decade, Buhari was there and Babangida led us through to the early 1990s(one of his administration's main objectives was to enhance our economic growth). Then Shonekan ruled us for six months, Abacha came in... died, Abdulsalam, then Obasanjo began our "unfortunate" democracy. And the rest, we all know. Which one them(our former leaders) is to blame for mismanaging our economy? |

Nigerians. Until we learn to think properly with our brains and stop all this tribalism etc and vote the right candidate, we'll never have a good leader.

kunlekunle: SAP SAP did nothing of the sort. Blaming SAP is as silly as the argument that some attempted right before the elections claiming that the 6-3-3-4 Education System is to blame for the poor state of Education in Nigeria. Abeg, make una try something else to blame. |
