Have MASSOB Abandoned The Biafra Struggle? by Nobody: 2:57pm On Apr 17, 2012
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra(MASSOB) was formed in 1999 within the geographical confine of the south East of Nigeria. The group outlined her 25 stage plan for the actualization of the state of Biafra to become a separate entity from Nigeria. The founder and Leader of MASSOB is an Indian trained Lawyer Chief Raphael Uwazurike(Eze igbo gburugburu 11). Over ten years after the formation of this peaceful Pro Biafran movement, Biafra is yet to be achieved except within the pages of Newspapers and magazines. The question becomes what have went wrong with the MASSOB struggle for Biafra independent?. Sadly an attempt to find an answer to this question may not be easy but the fact remains that the time is long over due for MASSOB to re examin her aims and objection and define her line of actions and inactions in concrete terms. Logically, it is wrong for MASSOB to talk about Igbo presidency in Nigeria and the same time claim to campaign for Biafra independent from Nigeria. Such an action is sarcastic and ironical, MASSOB if she still believe in what she stood for have no role to play in partisan Nigeria politics. Today, MASSOB seems to have transmutated into quasi-Nigeria police force who now engaged in arresting fake beer dealers, fraudsters and petty thieves, such culprits are then handed over to the Nigeria police for prosecution. If MASSOB have any secret security deal with the Nigeria police the people deserve to know about it. Lives of the poor and downtrodden must not be used as a buffer zone to help some few selfish individuals achieve political fame. The okada riders, bus conductor and the poor who made up majority of MASSOB fellowership deserve to know what have went wrong.

Radio biafra london crew said it that uwazurike is a fraud-star, some people didn't belive them. It is now clear to everyone that they are right. The way forward is for all pro biafrans all over the world to have a meeting and give him an ultimatum to resign or be force out of office. Enough is enough. we can not allow uwazurike to continue stealing from our people in the name of biafra. Massob is bigger than uwazurike. HE MUST STEP DOWN.
