The knowledge Adam had before eating the fruit other than the command that he shouldn't eat the fruit

It is clearly obvious and easily seen that it was Adam that passed on this knowledge or information to Eve.

Again, Bill Gates is not omnipotent, omniscient or omnibenevolent. besides, your analogy is fundamentally flawed because Bill Gates' company created the operating system and did not expect it to be perfect so they regularly issue patches etc while God created the actual human and expected them to be perfect yet he continues killing them and creating them malformed since he knew them even before they were born yet he did nothing. Doesn't that make you wonder why? Why wouldn't he interfere if he cares? Won't you interfere in your child's life if you cared for them?
Note that I'm not mad at God, I'm simply pointing out the inconsistencies in the idea of the God you're pushing.
