Britain Threatens Nigeria by hotshotpeter(m): 3:38pm On May 19, 2012
A diplomatic quarrel is brewing between Nigeria and Britain. In a recent development, Nigeria gave foreign airlines a deadline to streamline fares, failure to do this and the airline will be banned. Fares in Nigeria and fares in other neighbouring countries are so different its ridiculous.

Reacting to this deadline, Britain has said that any moves to ban their airlines will be met with retaliations. According to Britain, the result of any such ban on her airlines will result in "a heavy handed action that would be catastrophic." (Who Them Dey Threaten?)

Also brewing is Britains inability (or refusal) to grant Nigerian Airline, Arik, landing slots in her airports. They are willing to refuse our airlines landing slots but are unwilling to reduce their fares? Sounds unfair

I said UK. While they would not invade you they don't need to. All most all Nigeria's income is has a direct result of off shore drilling and selling of crude oil. They move in the Royal Navy and hold it hostage bribe senior government official Nigeria folds. No one dies (unless Nigeria tries to stand up to the RN)

If Nigerians would stop buying their tickets and patronizing them, we won't even be having this debate. Nigerians are willing to pay the unfair ticket prices so let them. The minute Nigerians stop patronizing british airways, no one will remind them to lower their fares. The power lies in the hand of the consumer which is of course the Nigerian traveller.

No be Nigerians be fools? We can refuse to visit their yeye country, and they will have no choice but to cut their prices. We can face South Africa for tourism, China and UAE for trade, Ghana for investments, and give them the middle finger. Let's see who blinks first. Idiots. Even education sef, we can face US, Canada and Australia if we need English speaking first world degrees. yeye people. Is it not our thieving politicians and civil servants that have turned everybody into economic refugees finish? Small time now, they will celebrate fake 60th birthday, and fools will be hailing them and struggling for sweet sensation package.

Wetin dem get sef?

We need to trade more with African ountries and we should do tourism in other African countries besides SA. We should do tourism in Nigeria as well.
