Nigeria dropped four places to 146th out of 158 countries in the recently released 2012 Global Peace Index, signifying a decline in peace and stability in the country in the past one year. From 2007 to date, Nigeria has consistently ranked low in the index, signifying worsening state of the nation in terms of peace and security in the past five years. From Frying pan to Fire.
