I think the query is OK in this thread because, she wants to know the reason that her visa was refused, and this is what the thread is about.

It is an express ground for visa refusal if you have not stayed for the minimum of 12 months in your current job: although, some visa officers do overrule this clause.
Another possible reason for the refusal is that you seem to be applying for a visa of the wrong category, for example, applying for a tourist visa where-as you intend to travel for medical reason (without revealing it to the visa officer): the visa officer might have observed something that you did not volunteer in your information, for example, pregnancy.

Ok thank u but I actually did fill in medical reasons and also told her I want to go birth my baby but before I could tell her about my medical condition, she cut me short. However, please how do I explain to them that I've been working as a pharmacist for almost 3 years now and just worked for 6 months at my present job because I just got married and relocated? I really appreciate this

Your previous 3 years employment can count as employment history which can enhance your credibility, but your current status is weightier: The reason for requiring a minimum of one year employment is because, they want to be certain that your employment is one that is credible and is sustained as it is difficult to evaluate employments that have not had tax returns.

Visa officers do not appreciate pregnant women applying for tourist visa especially when they know that the intention is to give birth in their country: and it is worse if you are a first-time traveler unless if there are compelling reasons why you think giving birth to your baby in Nigeria is not a safe thing to do.
Most people who travel abroad to give birth are holders of long term multiple entry visas which were issued them before they got pregnant or before their pregnancy became obvious.

Hello Vic justice, I am thinking of going to the U.S.A in the fourth quarter of the year to relax, I have been to one w/African country before and I would be working as a contract staff with a F-500 company in the UK during the summer would be making about 7k pounds. I do not intend to overstay in the US plus I have a sister who is an American Citizen, what category of visa do you think I should apply for?
Tourist-want to relax after long summer job,
general visitor-want to go visit my sister.

Plus I am a recent UNI graduate too.

Which Do you think is ideal and can I apply from the UK cause the UK visa I have is a Tier-5 visa or I should come back to Naija after my summer in the UK to come and apply?

Please help me bro.

This info is absolutely wrong. There is no crime in giving birth in the USA and no VO will refuse you for saying you are going to birth. Many people get medical visas everyday, its just for you to prove that you are prepared by getting Doc and hospital correspondences and also prove that you are financially capable.

I got all the docs from the doctor and the hospital already including my own budget and even made an extra of 5k for miscellaneous purposes but she didn't even ask if I'd gotten a Dr. or not. She was just typing.

No, it's not wrong, Visa Officers do not appreciate pregnant women applying for tourist visa, and like I indicated earlier, pregnant women who want to give birth should be applying for their visas on medical grounds.

Should i still select/check ✔ Government (including Public or Civil Administration and compulsory national service)?

If yes, what details am i expected to give?

My work duties or work history with d government?

Thanks in advance.

Hello house. Thanks for your contribution on here. I want to apply for a study permit to Ireland and i am trying to prevent the refusal reason of money logdement. I will be sponsored by my mum who runs a business. She has an event center which is rented for 200k per day and customers come around almost every weekend. So the company account is good. Because company accounts cannot be used for visa applications, we intend on transferring the amount needed to her private account which she also runs. She puts money in the private account for day to day activities.
For my visa application, i am seeking the best way to transfer these funds in order not to raise eyebrows in the embassy. Should the funds be transferred from her business account directly to the private account so that it will be traceable to her company account or the money be withdrawn and paid directly into her personal account in order not to make them think we are using the business funds for the trip.
We have receipts for the hall rental and sale of drinks.
All i want to know is the best way to transfer these funds. Thanks

Hi guys. I have a pressing question which i need opinions on.
I interviewed as beneficiary to a us dv lottery applicant which was refused back in 2012. Must i answer yes to having being denied a visa before? It confuses me because i wasn't the principal applicant then as such, my name was not on the refusal letter. Any input will be appreciated. If it helps, the refusal was on grounds of ineligibility.

If you have been refused a visa, then tick YES, and if you have not been refused a visa, then tick NO.
In this case (that you explained ), it wasn't your own application that was refused, so tick "NO".
BUT I WANT TO WARN YOU THAT IF YOUR FINGER PRINTS OR EYE SCAN WERE TAKEN DURING YOUR IMPERSONATION, YOU HAVE TO FORGET ABOUT THE USA FOR LIFE OR KEEP ON USING THE IDENTITY ON YOUR FINGER PRINTS OR EYE SCAN.

I, my husband and daughter recently applied for a UK visitor's visa. My husband is sponsoring our trip. He owns his own business with a business registration cert and tax certificate. He uses his personal account for business and that's what we are submitting. I am a makeup artist without a business registration cert or bank statement. I ticked self employed on the form because I earn some money from being a makeup artist. Would I be expected to submit a business registration cert and bank statement , even when my husband is the sole sponsor? Our appointment is next week, please advise.

You should have waited till when you are on holidays. Abeg which route did you take? Where you deported then or you are still allow to study? Above all you can appeal stating the obvious. You can also wait for the boss of this thread to give you the best advise.
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by HELP101: 4:51pm On Aug 21
I wasn't having enough money for accommodation .and i thought maybe is should quickly go to Spain and come back before the school resumed that way i can rent accommodation with other student .since the school does not have accommodation..
Mistaking for me ,i did not report myself to the school that i have arrived Estonia
meanwhile i took Turkey route for the Visa application.they wanted to deport me and i told them i'm willing to buy myself a return ticket back to Nigeria .still i was issue a ban of 1.6 months

when i contacted the school about what happen they told me that i have violated the rules that they would not defer my admission, that there is no way i will be admitted in their school anymore..

now i wan to appeal the case so i can apply for other school or maybe another schengen country Latvia or Lithuania

You shouldn't have traveled early. Do you know someone in Spain that you visited and what did you feel in your form about knowing someone or having relative in EU?
If you want to appeal you just have to make it known that you were not aware you were suppose to report in school after you have arrived. Also tell them your reasons for visiting Spain and if the person you visited is a legal immigrant or citizen then the person should be able to support you with evidence like copy of his resident permit and the picture you took with him while you were there. I know of a guy last year that travelled from India to Estonia then he dropped his stuff and proceeded to Finland but what I don't know is if he reported to school before going. Which people did the ban; Spain or Estonia?
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by HELP101: 6:25pm On Aug 21
The reason i travel early was that ,the Visa turkey gave me was only 2 weeks and would expire on the 4th August .i left Nigeria 27 July and i have to reschedule my appointment with Estonia embassy Ankara to 1st of August .that way i will get the Estonia Visa before my turkey Visa expire.Yes i know person ,but his not a relative and am not sure if he has legal document .it was Estonia that ban me for 1 year 6 months

let me ask you this questions

1. how much is your flight to spain (return ticket)
2. how much does hostel cost per day (10euros@hostel alur)
3. how can you say you got to estonia without going to your school, where you could meet students to assist on your accomodation or even speak to the school authority before booking a ticket to spain.

lets be honest, even me believe you had hidden agenda because you never for a micro seconds pursued the reason why your visa was granted.
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Saintsquare(m): 4:40pm On Aug 22
If the Baltic countries share info which I know they do, then it might be difficult to get in to Latvia or Lithuania. You can appeal, if denied kindly wait for the time the ban will elapse. Things are changing now with the border rule, you should have registered in school and probably pay part payment of tuition, that will prove your motive for studying is valid and not just use eesti as gateway to other schengen countries.
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by HELP101: 10:47pm On Aug 22
When i bought the ticket to Spain was 480 Euro
and the hostel i wanted to stay which is Backpackers Hostel Tallinn was filled up and i had to stay at 16 eur fat margarest for 49 euro double bed ..

I just told you i made a very silly mistake not to report to the school that i arrived Estonia , and you are right to think i had hidden agenda .Meanwhile the school said they don't have accommodation that is why i didn't thought about asking them for assistance

Well you can try to appeal since you were given the option cos D visa allows you to enter any schengen state and moreover studies have not yet commenced. The only fault should be with the school and not border police. Go ahead with the appeal since you got nothing to lose.

But just in case they deny the request (God Forbid )and i serve the 1 year and 6 months ban ,would i have problem ,if i apply to any other Europe country?

I don't think so, as long the ban has been lifted you good to go.I know someone who got banned from UK but got USA visa, that was about 2 years ago tho so don't lose hope,I still believe they were somehow harsh on u since u got a valid visa.Wish you success all the same .

I like the responses of Saintsquere, Femiratess and Mavinc4u, i think they did justice to your query.
As for whether you would have problem in future visa application after serving the 18 months ban, my answer is, although, there is no official application of any further punishment, but yet, the impact of the ban will always have negative influence on your future visa application as it will always remain in your travel history which you are required to declare whenever you are faced with the question: "Have you ever been refused entry, removed or asked to leave another country?"
Appealing the decision is your best bet: but remember, since the purpose of the visa is now invalid (as the school has cancelled your admission), you should not be appealing against the decision to cancel your visa, but rather appeal the ban.

This is the problem Nigerians are facing. You people are not straight forward at all. You gain Estonia visa and you end up in Spain to work. You are just painting bad image for future Nigerian students. Most advance countries delay Nigerians visa because of people like you.
