Pls my mamas, how true is this? I use sudocrem mixed with shea butter(ori) to rub on my son's bombom before putting diaper on. My friend's mother told me that its not good to use d sheabutter to rub on male children from d lower abdomen down to their manhood area, that it would make their manhood to be soft as in that it won't be erect. Pls is this true?
Soft gini! I use Shea butter too o

Imnuflawal, sitz bath is done with lukewarm water but u should go back to the hospital to check if the hot water had broken the suture thread by force.
Mychealsea25, just stop the original and all that mix mix just use regular baby creme dats wat happened to my baby too. Some babies stop sucking on their own, sorry everyone hear just don't rub d breasts e hear and use cold compress.
For the flat tummy, if u dnt hv time for exercise just cut down on ur carbs dats wat I'm doing for now and dia is a big difference.

Hello, I had serious tear too and within 3 weeks it healed perfectly. My doc infact dint recommend sit bath but he gave me a bottle that each time I pee I should not use tissue paper to wipe but use warm water to clean up. When I went back for my post natal visit he said I had healed up perfectly

Hello dear, pls tell ur SIL not all babiesss crawl as it's not even a milestone for babies. He may not even crawl at all b4 standing. My son did not crawl b4 standing. Some kids use their tummy for crawlin so it depends.

4,i want flat tummy ooooooo what should I do.

3. Maybe you can bathe her more frequently to help with the sweating and smell.Like twice in the afternoons if possible. Also change her clothes more frequently. Ensure all areas of her body is washed e.g armpits, thighs(you know those folds that chubby babies are prone to have), behind the ears these are areas that we sometimes neglect while bathing our babies. Use lots of imported talcum powder on her too. Then what soap do u use to bathe her? Try lightly scented or perfumed ones maybe like cussons or lux type of ones...

4. For flat tummy you will need to reduce or eliminate carbs from your dinner, and then exercise e.g sit ups

maybe you should not totally stop the formula till u can have a very good flow.like others advised try to take hot stuffs: pap.tea.amala n some say pounded yam n eat well .I also started with formula but stopped after one n half week. ideally the more u put your baby to breast the more you should flow. you can also try pumping every two hours or three hours. u can also massage ur chest down to the breasts with something like ori. the idea is just to create warmth n allow milk flow. u can also try tying a wrapper firmly above your breast to create some pressure.

if all these still don't work, just continue with the formula.I believe ur baby will still b healthy n great. most of our mums didn't do ebf.

I wish u d best

Pls if u av done all nd ur breast still didn't flow dnt feel bad jst get a good formula for ur baby,I did EBF for ma 1st bt my second was suckin too much combined with d stress so after a while I bought formula 4 d 2nd nd he is as healthy as d brother bt u av to be extremely careful nd neat wt d preparatn of d food.it is well

Bird's custard is a good brand. I've used it. Costs a little more than the made in nigeria ones though. You will use the regular baby milk SMA, nan, Aptamil and whatever milk you already use.

I know one or two mums who used regular peak milk though( it was what they could afford at the time) and the babies turned out just fine grin

Changing the bottles depends on the quality of the bottles. Some brands wear out and fade faster than others. Of course affordability is the key issue here. You can change every week if you so desire provided your pocket is speaking the same language.

The teeths(hope that's the spelling sef) will also need to be changed when worn out and the baby has torn the thing with their teeth finish LOL (wonder why the LOs all do that lol)
some children/babies use bottles till they're aged two so again it boils down to individual preferences. Some mothers stop bottle feeding at age 1 or even less sef.

Same applies to formula as well.
