Yes, thats the way it is. You have to pay 19500 2 times and maybe 13k the 3rd time. Cos one of the vaccine is just 2 doses. It is well my sis.

Though I get my vaccines from a pharmacy cos hospitals in my area don't give. Rotavirus is 8thousand per dose, and pnemo is 9k per dose. Rotavirus is 2doses while pnemo is 3doses.

A mother on ebf needs Fluids and not necessarily milk. Adults milk can't get digested on time in a baby's system and you know a baby sucks whatever the mother eats. Their digestive system is still developing. That's why babies have their milk while adults have theirs too. that's why a motgee whose baby isn't pooing is advised ti take more fruits and fibre cos it aids digestion, hence the baby will be able to take it from breastmilk.

Babe, Baba God will alaways provide for us,, cos i dont know how people that earn 15k can afford these vaccines? Pneumococcal in that Garki hospital was 10k.... We done did 2 doses... we still have 14wks...

MMR & some other vital vaccines are also not available under NHI...

Asked my Paed family friend why it's not available considering Severe Diarrhea is one of the major killers of children under 1 in Nigeria, he said that's what happens when politicians are made ministers of health & education& also youth devt.....

PCV & ROTA are not, Govt no dey provide.......

Go to Garki or Fed staff for both shots..

For babies with colic, it's advisable the mother avoid or reduce to the barest minimum,all diary products which includes milk. And this is just for a period of time, after 3months, colic tends to reduce in babies. After 2weeks of avoiding diary products, and if colic has'nt reduced, the mother can resume diary products back.

In cases where the child is showing lactose allergy or intolerance, the mum is asked to stay off diary for a while. I did so I'm speaking from experience.

I didn't give mine that pneumonia and rota vaccine because when my dh gave me 21k for it, I told him I will be collecting another money in the next few weeks. He just collected his money back.

Since you can pinpoint when the poo drama began, just withdraw formula & let her go back to EBF, she might be lactose intolerant.

Try Soya milk with cereal for her from 4mths, if other commitments preclude EBF.

I didn't like the smell of NAN, so I tried my boy formula. My baby began to poo after each meal. I had to stop it and returned to NaN. Maybe you can try another formula.
