But it helped.Then d dr ordered them 2put somthng in d drip.B4 we knew it;c baby's head.Baby boy delivered by 11pm.Although he was weak,they put him on oxygen but now,he's off oxygen.I'v cooked d hot water pepper soup.

i hvnt been able to contribute on this thread like i would have love to. DD was teething (upper teeth) and had slight temp and all of a sudden, temperature got outta hand and did not go down. but she is a playful child and its hard to know she was sick. took her to the hosp and doc say to give coaterm. the last i gave was in July ending so i just ignored d coaterm and gave d other drugs-paracetamol, amoxil and vitamin c. na so this morning o, i saw rash-like stuffs all over my baby. fortunately, the temp. had gone down to almost normal. i called a nurse friend and she said its measles. i am like what the f**k. she said it will soon pass that since she has already taken immunisation @ nine months, it wont b serious. i just hope it ll pass soon. thank God she's handling it well. no temp, and playing around. just eating a little and i m giving her breast milk to help her. it is well with us o. motherhood is 'easy' IJN.

I think u shdu take d lil darling bak to d clinic,let d doctors see that rash,cos since shez been immunized against measles,I realy doubt that she'll get it,

Walai babe.U'r not d only one dat experienced ur child havin measles even afta al d vaccinations.I think its common wit measles.My baby had measles in June.Sh has received measles&MMR(measles,mumps&rubella) vaccines stil I don't knw wher dat winsh cam frm.Sh had severe malaria few wks b4&completed her paluther injections o.Then wen sh got better,I breathed down only 4her 2stat runnin fever again lik 4days later.I went 2d paedo&sh said its probably teethin;I shld just b givin ibuprofen 6hrly.Lik 4days after d fever started,com&c rashes al ova her body&face.I fear o;went back 2d paedo.Alas! Sh said it was measles.I was lik 'what the f**k' in ur own terms

My mum said I shld cook sand&do som sandish water s**,I ignored dat advice cos It sounded Odd.Then my frnd called me&i told her abt d measles&sh said dat her baby(d same age wit myn) had measles too 2wks b4 myn happened cos we both go 4immunization 2geda&we'v both given al d measles&MMR vaccines.So sh said sh used seven keys 2power kiniko dat I shld giv my baby 2drink&rub on d body.Got d somthng but I didn't giv her 2drink o cos d colour alone fear me but i added it 2her cream&also add it 2bathin water.I was also rubbin her calamine lotion.Afta lik 3/4days,it went.My baby used 2hav rashed durin teethin but paedo said point blank ''its measles.Just get calamin lotion&wait it out since sh just completed antibiotics just a wk ago.Hmmmm

I was screaming and begging for CS, then my baby now pooped inside again, I was so scared. My 2nd daughter had this measles around march this year,d rashes didn't come out so they felt it was malaria we gave her all d drugs but there was no improvement 2 d extent she almost started convulsing,thank God it started in d hospital.

When she was admitted in d hospital, we started noticing rash on her face, her mouth,lips n throat was also full of sore she couldnt eat or drink water that she lost so much weight n was placed on drip,nurses n patients told me about FRESH PALMWINE that was when i remembered that i also gave it 2 my first child when she had measles n it worked 4 her. I put d palmi in my mouth n sprayed it in her eyes and mouth and also gave her 2 drink,u need 2 see her d next day,d redness in her eyes was reduced,d sores in her mouth also reduced n she asked for tea,d rashes came out n it was all over her body,d temperature just dropped, i tell u d Dr was surprised n he said e now knows d importance of palmi.The elderly nurses made me understand that if d rashes doesn't come out it causes temperature 4 them but when 'all' d rashes not 'few' comes out then they r gud 2 go. how many months old is she? it may b teeething. u can mix calamine lotion with agnesia pwdr and rub all over the affected parts.

Its good.Try it.I myself,i mixed ori&visita plus&sudocream&it worked 4my baby then used risin powder

no it is not. she has two and is bringing out the two up. when she was teething d first set, she had rash at the back n neck only. no fever but only d head goes warm and she refuses to eat. but for this one, i saw d rashes on one side of the neck and d head was warm as usual. i gave gbomoro for a week and she was eating well. it was just last tuesday d temperature rose and it did not come down over nyt so i took her to d health center. we were given pcm, amoxil syrup, piriton, and vit c. i was also given coaterm but i di not use it. the malaria test was negative yet the doc gave her coatem. the last coatem i gave her is not up to 2 months. she ll be finishing d amoxil dosage this nyt.

i took her to her pediatrician today for him to see d rash and it was comfirmed measles. i was told hers' is quite mild. she was given inj and drugs (pcm and i think Pedesolone- dont knw if i got it ryt) and told me to complete d amoxil i was given. but d inj part i asked d doc why she was given and he said its to help prevent pnemonia and eye and ear infections which measles can cause. a friend of myn said i shouldnt have let them give her. i wonder why afterall i m not a doctor. na make my baby dey kampe.

my sis, it isnt easy in that position. i have been thru it to and i can tell u that its God's grace for some women to have easily. what honie said is quite thru about the MDR. if a drug works for one person, others go and get it. do u know that clomid is not meant for every one? yet it is a fertility drug. how i conceived is God after so many drugs and fasting and prayers. na only N100 medicine i take get belle

for me clomid wasnt it. i was on parlodel and when i changed hospitals, i was given metformin with it. some people aldactone is their answer. like my aunty a matron once said, ordinary infection is what is causing the problem. may God help us all. sincerely, I pray God will meet them at the very point of their needs. He has said that there is no barren in His house. for every woman out there believing God fo the fruit of the womb, i say God will give in double and triple fold. amen

If its d paedo dat prescribed d injection,its good u took it.They knw betta.And since sh's on antibiotics,sh's covered.I read up dat d complication of measles is eye,ear&chest infection.I knw dat one of my brother hav chronic cough (as dr called it) as a long term complication of d measles abi chicken pox dat he suffered in childhood.An indian dr whom took him to said wen he had measles/chicken pox,he was supposed 2b covered wit antibiotics or b given one injection he mentioned dat's given to sicklers 2cover their chest frm pneumonia.So he has 2liv wit d cough.Wen he's coughin here,adult lik him,it has a weird sound.

I also heard that they don't give injection but i believe ur daughter will be fine by d grace of God. Weldone u r a gud mother
