4llerbuntu:

what did u use to root?
did this happen immediately after rooting or it's being used after rooting?

if its immediately after rooting u used the wrong kernel or exploit

best bet now is to get a stock kernel .tar and use Odin to flash it.

if it still does not boot, u will need to flash the stock ROM.

For everybody, word of advice.

ALWAYS ROOT SAMSUNG PHONES BY FLASHING A PRE-ROOTED KERNEL.

flash Touchwiz kernel o stock, CM kernel on CM ROMs

most samsung devices do have purely stock kernels that were just rooted and repacked in case u don't want kernel level tweaks
i can never and will never root my android device wen i get one...

I said the same thing and when I got my own Droid it didn't take a week for the root itch to bite me, bloat ware was driving me crazy plus I wanted to take my Droid further.

Never say never my friend.

It was after rooting. Forgotten what he used. Apparently it was a hardware problem cuz my colleague took it to Samsung and the said they'll replace it saying it was a motherboard problem and it was under warranty cool

Thanks all the same. The issue was that it just refused to come on at all.

have handled various tablets from different places, didn't notice much difference. however, if you are buying from the us or Canada make sure it's the non LTE version. the prices of gadgets fluctuates and may have a low price while in Nigeria, it will be sold close to the cost price at the initial point of purchase. you would be stuck with an android tab or phone without network connectivity. if you using jumia make sure it's cash on delivery

Dude go fucking buy a tablet if you want to and stop spamming this thread unnecessarily. You've been asking the same question for eons and even when answers have been provided, you still repeat yourself like a broken disc. I use A Samsung Galaxy Tab that I bought here in Nigeria and I've had no problems whatsoever. Chuck up and buy this thing once and for all or go buy a Techno phone. Jeez!

Android DVB-T TV is a useful app to
watch via USB DVB-T Stick TV on the
road and at home.
Android DVB TV itself does not
require root access. Android TV uses
a special process to scan the
channels on all frequencies. This
must be done each time when you
become a new transmission area
movements (for example, moving to
a different city). Once the devices
have been searched, the channel list
on your Android device and saved
you can easily switch between the TV
programs or listen to the radio in the
app.
Features:
* Channel List
* EPG list
* Connection types: ATSC, DVB-T,
DVB-S, DVB-C
* All countries available
* Supports many DVB-T sticks
WITHOUT driver installation, but not
all.
Prerequisites:
* The best kernel 1.3.10-g52027f9
(100% compatible with the DVB-T
drivers, other kernels will be
recognized.)
* Enable USB Debugging (Go to
Settings> Applications>
Development> USB debugging)
* Root access! (To install drivers)
* The app "Terminal Emulator" (to
install drivers)
* Support DVB-T stick: http://
linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-
T_USB_Devices
* Supported device OTG

@daraplato, much as I own that phone but with no rom or after sale service and no knowledge base outside Africa, I use it for a home router. battery life is good. go to the tread of that which must not be named.
@nuel, do your homework yourself. Google is your friend
