OK but downloading such a heavy file from play store with this our network is next to impossible
Download via WiFi then.
Or download in the night.

Karmanaut:

For the love of Pete....
Preloader is the boot loader.
Why on earth would you flash a new boot loader?
You shouldn't have ticked it.
Your device is hard bricked.
Does the PC recognise it?
Take it to a reputable phone engineer, they might be able to save it, if they can't you'd have to get a new motherboard entirely, and that's like getting a new phone.

Maybe you can take it to Carl Care.
Tell them you downloaded an update then while it was installing your battery died/phone went off.
If they buy the story they should fix it for free.

Good luck.
thanks

I use infinix hot note
pro, i tried flashing from
lollipop to stock kitkat ROM. I
tried flashing with sp flash tool
but it said pmt changed for
rom must be downloaded. so I
formated then flashed. there
was no interruption, the
flashing completed. but my
phone wouldn't on at all,
charge, and its not detected by
my PC.. note: I had all files
including preloader.bin.. What should I do please

You shouldn't have formatted. That was your error.

What you need to do is to:
1. Send it to carlcare.

or if thats not feasible or you out of warranty

2. Flash again.

To do this, open the phone. unscrew it and disconnect the battery from the board gently. BE CAREFUL, dont damage the battery connector.

Now load the scatter file in SP Flashtool, start the flash (as is done normally) then plugin the phone

It will detect it and flash the device.

when done, reconnect the battery and try boot. if its ok, switch it off and return the screws.

if it completes the flash and still does not work, go to carlcare

if it does not flash, check your steps well again.

Either way i wish thee luck
End

Then it seems to be a hardware problem.
Most likely your charging port.
Take it to q reputable phone engineer.

If you can collect his charger, see if it'll work.
If it doesn't then it's definitely a hardware problem.
If you reset the phone everything in the phone will be deleted.

If you're not confident enough, sure.
Google the procedures.
Check the _hovatek forums for the stock ROM for your device.

Evening gurus in the house! I need your help please. I have a Tecno droid 7c phone which I suppose supports OTG, as written on the package box. I just received an OTG cable delivery from Jumia today and on plugging it to the phone, nothing happened. I connected a USB flash modem(Glo Bolt) with memory card in it to the phone through the OTG cable, yet nothing happened. I went online to know what's happening, I came across USB OTG Checker, the results of the tests are the screenshots. Please what do I do? This is my first time to use the OTG. Thanks, God bless you as help me out!

Maybe it does not support the Glo modem. Try another otg source. By the way, what's the name of your font?

What am I thinking?

Very funny. Ehn sell the phone as scrap then. Since you think there's some magic and status attached to the physical buttons

It's not a software issue... It's simply the CHARGER. Look for a good and original charger and check the voltage compatibility! Goodluck!
