Has anyone noticed lately the preponderance of government apologists on Nairaland lately? These apologists swarm in droves to any thread that tends to portray the weak side of the Federal Government. I am beginning to think this is most unusual as we aren't in election period or am I the only one noticing this? |

I have been called a govt agent severally, it is a game of absurdity because I personally want this country to succeed,I desperately wish her to achieve the giant status she has been carrying like a burden since he independence but has not been able to achieve,I have taken keen interest in the politics of this nation, and am solely interested in showcasing the positives and x-raying the negatives. I want to see this nation work,not by hurling insults,accusations and counter accusations. I became angry when I saw the vebal insults and war people are waging against GEJ, not putting into perspective the environment he inherited to work in. In as long a time as I can remember, we have not had a better president,talk of one contending with all these forces. I was labelled and even banned because I stand on what I believe. There is freedom of speech and association in this country and the truth is that most of us will never sell our conscience and personally, when I believe in a cause, I take my time to analyse before I follow. I AM NOT PAID BY ANYONE and not afraid to maintain my stand because I know how difficult it must be for this guy trying to set us on a new path (GEJ) and am willing to give him time. The haters are at it because their turbines sucking the economy has been shut down,and this is their way of retaliating(and hence misleading their gullible followers). Trail blazers,be it inventors or new school has always met stiff opposition and GEJ will nt meet a different reaction. I rest my case! |

@OP Its been obvious man.This trend started during Yara dua's time and when these guys came in they ramped up the pressure,we may see this government as generally incompetent but we must all admit that they have a huge,well funded internet operation.its not here only its everywhere and only the operators of the websites can stop them.Though they are outnumbered but have mastered the act of creating diversions. Some enemies of truth where at it again yesterday,the last time I checked this forum's Nairaland and not Dictatorland.After 5yrs of active and meritorious service on this forum,tin pocket sized dictators Banned me from posting anything on the forum. While trying to air my unbiased,critical,analytical fact driven view,I clicked on the submit tab,but to my utmost surprise a message that reminds me of the gloomy military interventions which first broadcasts where characterised with words like'ALL POLITICAL ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN BANNED'.You have been Banned stared me in the face,I found it hard to believe so I consulted some respected patriots,not a few where baffled and I was regaled with complaints of how such treatment has been meted out to people for only trying to contribute.Have we now gone back to the dark days of the junta,when opposing views where subdued at all costs?I've seen half wits comment on this forum in the most unruly and foul manner and they have never been been cautioned talkless of being banned. While trying as much as possible not to stir the Hornets,I wouldn't tolerate this again under any guise,and I also suggest the Administrators should apologise to every victim of 'unexplained' disbandment. 1 Like |
