Travel / Re: Is This Extortion By The Nigeria Post Office? by Alabamagnate: 8:50pm On Oct 04, 2019
My takes on this matter
1.You need to know that whatever you ship in from other country will be access by custom before passing it to delivery agency
2.Custom usually charge the item in accordance with the woth of such item.
3.Since custom is not the one to deliver it they will attach DN(delivery note) to such item which will show the amount to be paid as custom duty and pass the item to NIPOST for delivery to the owner.
4.NIPOST will only charge you "handling charge'.Since it is foreign item you are expect to pay for handling charge. Can someone send me a car from abroad and I will clear it without paying a dim.
5.Pls dont let us bad mouth our institution though there are black sheep among the employees whose because of their corrupted mind tarnishing our image.
5.So Mr op you can go back to that office and seek audience with their manager and demand to see DN that the custom attach to your laptop.
6.To say the fact we Nigerians only want everything to be free,we buy item from other country pay certain amount to boast their economy, we now want our govt to bear the burden of delivery here.
7.Someone was talking about Dhl,gig and others, go and try them you will realise that NIPOST is very cheaper than any of them.

Politics / Re: Oyo State Nurtw Boss Is Dead by Alabamagnate: 9:27pm On Aug 21, 2018
There was anxiety across Oyo State on Tuesday
as news broke of the death of the Chairman,
National Union of Road Transport Workers
(NURTW) in the state, Alh. Taofeek Oyerinde
(aka Fele).
Though details of his reported death were
scanty as at press time, The Nation learnt that
the National President of the union, Alhaji
Yasin and other Stakeholders have announced
the appointment of the Vice Chairman of the
union in Oyo State, Alhaji Abideen Olajide
( a.k.a Ejiogbe) as the Acting Chairman.
A reliable source close to the late commercial
drivers’ boss confirmed his death to The
Nation Tuesday.
Ibadan residents were gripped with fear on
receiving the news as many of them made calls
to their loved ones to avoid popular dangerous
spots for NURTW members such as Iwo Road
Interchange, Gate and Molete, suspecting that
some members of the union might embark on
violent activities on confirming the death and
subsequent appointment.
Oyerinde was said to have had serious issues
with his health, making him pay frequent visits
to the hospital in the last one year.
Fele officially succeeded Alh. Lateef Akinsola
(aka Tokyo) in 2011 after years of violent
supremacy battle between Alh. Mukaila Lamidi
(aka Auxilliary) and Alh. Lateef (aka Eleweomo).
The latter was killed during a political violence
late 2010 at the height of the supremacy battle
while Auxilliary is currently serving a jail term
for criminal offenses.
Fele was chosen to head the troubled union to
stamp out violence for which the union was
known in Oyo State in the previous two
decades.
Until his death, Fele was the Vice Chairman of
the Union in Southwest Nigeria.

Politics / Please Release Dapchi Girls, ‘mama Boko Haram’ Pleads by Alabamagnate: 3:53pm On Feb 27, 2018
With a strong conviction that the Abu
Musab Al-Barnawi-led faction of Boko
Haram might be responsible for the
abduction of Dapchi schoolgirls, a North-
East human rights activist, popularly called
Mama Boko Haram, Aisha Wakil, has
appealed to the abductors to release the
young female captives.
Ms. Wakil, a former member of the
Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful
Resolution of Security Challenges in
Northern Nigeria under the administration
of former president Goodluck Jonathan,
had, in previous efforts, brought military
officers and Boko Haram commanders
together during negotiations. She was also
credited to the release of some abductees
from the Boko Haram sect via phone calls
to the leadership, including some Chibok
girls.
Speaking to PRNigeria in Maiduguri, Ms.
Wakil, who is said to be highly respected by
some leaders of Boko Haram, said she was
ready to sacrifice her life to rescue the girls
from abductors.
The activist was reported to have helped in
the circumcision of some kids over two
decades ago who later became Boko Haram
members. Her relationship with the sect
members earned her the name ‘Mama Boko
Haram.’
Disturbed by the latest abduction of 110
students of Government Girls Technical
College, Dapchi, Ms. Wakil has renewed her
commitment to fight to end the Boko Haram
insurgency.
The activist who cried profoundly said
“This thing that is happening, is really
breaking my heart. These children don’t
even know what they are doing. Some of
them were not even born at the time this
thing started.
“Wallahi I will go after them, even if it
will take my life to save these girls. They
call me Mummy, but they don’t listen to
me. I keep on talking to them, begging them
to lay down their arms and embrace peace
but they will say ‘Insha-Allah mummy we
are going to stop.’ Sometimes they will say
they are scared they are going to be killed
but I will tell them nobody is going to kill
you.”
Appealing to the leader of the Boko Haram
sect, Ms. Wakil said: “I heard you are now
being called ‘Abu Mussad Albarnawi’ but I
know you as Habib and I am begging you to
stop the killing and abduction. I have sent
many messages to you. I don’t know if you
are getting these messages or you just
choose to continue to hurt your mother and
make her cry.
“Dear Habib, Nuru and others, I was told
you may be the ones responsible for the
kidnap of these girls. Wherever you may be
if you are listening to me, I beg you in the
name of Allah to release the girls back to
their families.
“What type of children will continue letting
their mother to continue crying. Dear
Habib, I pray Allah touches your heart and
that of your colleagues to stop what you are
doing. Please come out. I will never deny
you even if the whole world did. Those
who know you know your heart. They
know you are no longer interested in the
fight anymore.
“I will hold all of you and wrap you with
my wrapper and bring you out and no one
is going to shoot you. If they will shoot you,
they will have to shoot me first. I don’t
mind sacrificing my life if you will stop
what you are doing. If I die to stop Boko
Haram, I know I will go to paradise.”
Respected by many in her community, Ms.
Wakil has been actively involved in efforts
to end Boko Haram through her NGO
“Complete Care and Aid Foundation” aimed
at restoring peace to the North-east by
rehabilitating the youth against warped
ideologies that mislead them to join the
terror group.
The organisation is designed to provide a
free feeding centre, fight drug abuse, sex
hawking, human trafficking, female genital
mutilation and de-worming among persons displaced by the insurgency.

Politics / BREAKING: Buhari Rejects Peace Corps Bill by Alabamagnate: 12:20pm On Feb 27, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari has rejected the proposed Peace Corps of Nigeria establishment bill. The president conveyed his rejection of the bill in a letter which Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, read during plenary on Tuesday. The national assembly passed the bill in 2017, after a prolonged battle involving the organisation and the nation’s security agencies. Buhari cited security concerns and financial burden of funding the organisation by the government as his reasons for rejecting the bill. He said given “scarce government resources”, funding the organisation will be a financial burden on the federal government. The Peace Corps of Nigeria has been involved in various controversies since the bill came to limelight at the national assembly. There are litigations currently pending before the court between Dickson Akoh, the organisation’s commandant, and the Nigeria police force. The organisation’s premises has also been cordoned off since last year by policemen, despite a court judgement and a directive from the house of representatives asking the police to vacate the premises. On Tuesday, the Akoh and Ibrahim Idris, inspector-general of police, are expected to appear before a house of representatives committee investigating the dispute between the police and the organisation.
Politics / Pro Buhari Senators Walk Out Over Election Sequence Reordering Report by Alabamagnate: 6:11pm On Feb 14, 2018
About 10 members of the Senate have staged a walk-out in protest against the adoption of the report by the Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on the Amendment to the Electoral Act. The protesters say despite the adoption of the report by the Senate, they would insist on its reversal. They alleged that the amendment was targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari. Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, Senator Suleiman Nazif, had presented the report at the plenary on Wednesday. After the presentation, President of the Senate put the adoption of the report to a voice vote, saying there was no need for debate on it as it was from a conference committee which had harmonized the versions of the two chambers. After the vote, the ‘ayes’ had it and Saraki ruled on it — a development that generated an uproar in the chamber. Saraki also ruled against three senators who raised points of order to protest against the adoption. Details later…Sahara Reporter

If I say that the presidency is filled with maggots, it would look as if that I am hating.
These people are hell bent in ensuring that southern Christians are intimidated/eradicated with their intention of establishing sharing law all over the country.
The attack on Ipob is an attack on Igbos/Christians because, Igbos are 99.9℅ Christians and Ipob is ibo and ibo is Ipob because they ordered Sit at home order and everybody complied.Forget all these pretence as if the attack is targeted on Ipob only.
They are gradually spreading their wings.

Osun state and Kano recently declared public holidays celebrating Islamic whatever whatever in a secular state like Nigeria.
They started with Ipob today, tomorrow is another group
Once they are done with Igbos, Yorubas will be very easy because half of us are Muslims..
Igbos are those checkmating the northern and Islamic dominance in Nigeria because they are all Christians. They know that Ibos are very stubborn that's why they had to start with them, but ibo governors won't read the hand writing on the wall because they are busy struggling to protect their selfish interest(looting). If they succeed in dealing with Ibos, Islamization agenda will become very easy to implement but God forbids.

Sharia law is already in 12 states
(Don't forget that Nigeria is a secular state). Look at the second picture I attached below.
Head slammers are free to cry on my mentions as usual.

when army started operation Lafiya Dole in north nobody cried of christenisation,we saw it as a war against terrorists. Now that Python is started dancing in the East we fail to see it as a fight against secessionist, militant and terror group. Is Ipob a christian group? So what bring about Islamisation here, Islam as a religion is giving you christian headache and there is nothing you can do about it,it is the only religion recognized by the creator, accept it enter paradise otherwise hell is your abode.
