Like I said to poster, give it time they will respond formally. Their response will determine the adequacy or otherwise of the document, if they need more documents they will ask.

U clearly don't know this people ...there's no harm in submitting further proof ... I have seen enough denial even after submitting court document showing sole custody...

Entry clearance officers have discretionary power to ask for supporting documents to support an already submitted required document and they do it all the time.....

They do it with marriage certificate...they will ask u to submit more proof of your union...

They do it with birth certificates...asking for hospital records and school records...

If they are not satisfied... they will use the sentence, "I am not satisfied that this document alone fully represent the welfare of the minor" to deny visa

Ok cool, thats the ultimate legal document you can submit showing you have decision making authority of the child(ren).
You don't need to submit anything further, receipt, pictures, letters etc are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things

Dealings regarding a minor is very senstive, give them time, they will respond formally.

Was it a Court Order of guardianship or sole custody? If No, they will keep asking you!!

Mine took 3 days, it really depends on the organisation.

I paid VFS service charge + premium lounge, online, on the vfs website before booking appointment.

The visa fees was paid at vfs office using POS on my appointment day. I had to pay 10670 courier fees, i was informed that its mandatory. VfS lagos

But I thought the normal thing to do is take a bank card to their office to pay the visa fee and all other fees there, not online.

It's entirely up to you. The UK high commission did not stipulate if documents should be black and white or coloured just make sure they are clear and legible. Use your discretion, what is the point of having a coloured bank statement?

Hi, I will respond as I see you tried to PM me.

1. Employment letter is your appointment letter given to you when you were first employed. An introduction letter is issued by your employer addressed to the British High commission, basically stating your name, role, passport number, the reason for your trip and tentative dates for the trip. And a contact number. Since your office is sponsoring you, the letter should also state that and what is covered e.g. flight, accommodation etc. A simple Google search will show many samples and templates.

2. Please attach your payslip. Ask your office accounts/finance dept to create/generate on the letterhead of the company and sign. Your bank statement is required as well for this application, to show corresponding payments between payslip and bank credits. I am not sure if employer's bank statements is required, I did not attach any for my application.

3. Invoices for salary?? This is where you lost me. I have assumed you're a contractor or consultant for this organisation not an employee of the company. Whatever the case, let your introduction letter state your exact situation with the company that is sponsoring you.

Careful with terminology, don't destroy your chances because you have used the wrong language.

Your CV and cover letter should be well drafted. Has it been reviewed properly (typos, structure, outline), have you tailored your CV to the job description you are applying for? Personally, for every job I apply for, I always review and update my CV

If you have not been getting called for interviews or job assessment, and your grades and job experience match the job description, maybe its time to look inwards.

Signed into the building at 11.22am. Everything was swift, no queues, happy I didn't pay for the Premium Lounge, would have been a waste.
I finished and was out of TLS at 11.45am. I was given a Lebara Uk SIM card upon submission of passport.

I just got a refusal on my for UK business visa. Quite funny their flimsy reason though. I will share later. It is interesting how people who wants to Japa actually beats the system/ their so called scrutiny while those of us who are being honest get refused.
