Religion / I Don't Go To Church Anymore Because I Don't Feel The Fire Anymore by delkuf(m): 10:17am On May 05
I used to attend canaanland but recently we went alot in the country. Last year, due to the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of naira, we suffer alot, but what did my church did for his members in return, nothing. Aleast, just little palliative to the people that has been paying tithe and offering. When the Lord Jesus Christ was here on earth and he was preaching in the wilderness, the bible says he had compassion on the multitudes because they have not eaten for days. But what are our churches giving back to their members that pay there tithe and offering with there hard earned money, nothing. No compassion. No pity. So because of this sole reason, I stop attending canaanland. Since then I have been trying to get another church to attend, but most don't preach the word to the level that I am. So I just sit at home and read my Bible and pray every Sundays

If they extend without investing massively in the right players that fit whatever philosophy will be unveiled next season, it'll all be crap and wailing will continue

One can make excuses for a coach having the wrong players, but what happens when same coach gets the support to buy players and he keeps buying rubbish?

if they give twn hang the best set of players in every position, he will still not perform. Ten hang is average. A coach that fight with every player. Man u will be making a big mistake if they did not let him go

Religion / Re: My Spiritual Fervency Is Affecting My Secular Interests: How Do I Find Balance? by delkuf(m): 11:50am On Apr 28
gohf:
you are going through a period and a phrase in your spiritual growth if you stop it you may later regret it.

Prioritize those secular things that are NEEDED only and forget the rest that consume time and can be done later.

You don't need to switch between the two, you need to grow fully into God and then walk into the world a new being.

The world can wait. Jesus called a man and he gave an excuse, JESUS didn't say I will wait, infact Jesus response seemed harshed like when the rich man asked what more he needed to do and Jesus didn't stop him from leaving. Jesus said let the dead bury their dead, and you know burial is treated as extremely important but yet, Jesus said anyone who looks back isn't fit for the kingdom of God.

AS LONG AS IT'S THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADING YOU, FOLLOW. It's a process, it's a phrase.
thank you for this. Op, don't try to stop or slow down the process. Let me tell my own case. I was fervent for God. I was full of God that other area were affected. I was working then but other areas of never seem to improve. I really want a improve in my finance but God was building me for something great. Things was like this I told myself I want to SLOW DOWN a little bit. That was how I start regressing in spiritual things. That was my down fall. And up until this moment I have never fully recovered from that fall. As I am writing this am still regretting. If only I didn't slow down. Op pls what you are doing is best. Don't slow down or stop. God is building you for something great

Politics / Re: Opinion: Why President Tinubu Hasn't Approved Minimum Wage Increase Yet by delkuf(m): 9:57pm On Apr 14
Ofunaofu:
I don't think so.

Everything about the minimum wage will be done on or before May 29. Its implementation will take longer than May 29.

The reason I said so is because Tinubu is desperate for anything to hold on to, at least to show what he has been able to achieve in the past year in office.

Though it's my opinion
don't mind that guy talking nonsense. Minimum wage that this tinubu government will use as achievement come may 29
Politics / Re: Opinion: Why President Tinubu Hasn't Approved Minimum Wage Increase Yet by delkuf(m): 9:54pm On Apr 14
TheRealestGuy:
This is a personal opinion first off.

I have lived long enough as a Nigerian to understand that Nigerian politicians are a mostly a vile set of humans who can play politics with anything including terrorism and human lives.

I am of the view that the simple reason why the minimum wage increase is yet to be effected is the same reason I mentioned above - politics.

I think what the current administration plans to do is delay any minimum wage increases until 2026, so they can use it as leverage for the 2027 elections.

We have a criminal mafia in charge now and I understand how they think.

They will throw crumbs at Nigerian workers in 2026 in the name of an interim wage increase, make fake promises for when they are re-elected, and then leverage the desperation at that point.

You can bookmark this post and we will review by 2026 and you will see how accurate it is.

If this is not the height of evil then I don't know what is.

Nigerian politicians only scheme and plot how to win elections and corner our common wealth. The welfare of the people is the least of their concern and they will use every weapon including terrorism, hunger and extreme poverty to win elections.

I hope Nigerians wise up and resist this when the time comes.

that your opinion is off.

the labour are wasting our time. The minimum wage committee was set up Jan 31 and it is now they submit their figure. What have they been doing. Workers are waiting seriously for may 1 when the president would announce the minimum wage amount. They should not give horrendous figure that will delay the procees

NPFLADMIN:
Honestly, my dad knows a person in this situation.

He earns 1M as salary monthly and also has a side hustle which should be bringing him nothing less than 200k estimate. But the man still wants to leave 4 UK. And getting a job in the UK at the age of around 45+, isn't that almost impossible?

His wife is already there and she's doing care-job.

I still don't understand why he wants to move.

If I ever meet him with my dad before he leaves, I'll tell him "sir, you're making a big mistake!"

Well, he's still agile. I guess that's an advantage.

Anyways, abeg who fit dash me 17k? Anyone? Abeg. 9053920228 Opay.
you see the reason why he left. So that his will not go about the internet begging for money.

I'm typing this with tears in my eyes,
I feel like life has caught up with me, I feel like I've failed in life,
I'm 31 years with no achievement so far,
I started out being a brilliant guy in my primary school,
Went to one of the best secondary schools,
After my nysc, I stayed for a while and got a casual job,
Because of office politics and hatred, I had to resign,
Since then it's been difficult getting something tangible,
Every day I look at myself getting older with no progress,
At my age I'm supposed to be married already,
My mom has started pressuring me to get married,
Everytime I look at her, I see sorrows in her face, off course she's getting older,
How can I repay her for all the sufferings she went through for me?
Looking at her some times makes me shed tears,
I'm her only hope,
Do I blame myself for not doing yahoo when I had the opportunity to?
I see little boys doing absolutely well,
Life is not fair,
Please I really a job opportunity
Or
If you can teach me a skill /knowledge of anything that can really fetch me money especially online,

I will really appreciate your help,
