eniola1010: Since the money is in naira, please add a bit more. The rates are still rising, so it’s better to include extra. IF he can convert it to USD, I’d also recommend he does so, as the rates seem to keep increasing and that would mean more naira to be added. Once converted to dollars, you go just know say you no go dey fear as the rates dey fluctuate. 2 Likes |

eniola1010: Your friend still has more than the required 22,500 CAD, so there’s no problem at the moment. If he's concerned about the amount decreasing further, he can always add more funds and submit a webform with a Letter of Explanation (LOE), bank reference letter, letter of non-indebtedness and bank statements attached. Overall, I don’t see any issue here since he remains above the required amount. |

philtrum: Use this one - https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application/Form/72 (this has a section where you'd give a brief description of what/why you are raising a webform) I used both forms, and this one appears to be the most up-to-date, as it has a "DATE MODIFIED: 2024-02-06" at the bottom of the page. In terms of response times, I've had experiences where I received a reply within an hour of uploading a form, while other times it took over two weeks to get a response. I don raise plenty webform sha as IRCC no wan make I rest that time. 2 Likes |

shila8: Why didn't you include your time living in the UK in your application? According to IRCC, you must disclose any place you've lived for more than 6 months in the past 5 or 10 years (not sure). Additionally, several countries, including the UK, share information with Canada. So, imagine the visa officer reviewing your application, conducting a background check, and finding out you stayed in the UK for over a year. |

Wanice: Yes, to earn more points, you should evaluate both your BCS in IT certificate and your BSc degree. This will be considered as having two or more degrees, which would give higher points compared to evaluating just your BSc degree. To your second question, I don't know about the role Monitoring and Evaluation, but NOC 21231 is the most appropriate for cloud engineering. All the best. |

NiceTheDev: Hi @NiceTheDev, I'm also in the tech space though I'm not a dev. Ontario does tech draws and one of the roles/occupations they target is software developers which I believe is what you're doing. You can qualify for that depending on their cut-off, you could also sit for French exams coz na those one's dey hot now. I got Ontario nomination for their tech draw and I've gotten PR but I'm currently trying to add my spouse. Cheers. 3 Likes

zsch: Yes, Fibreone is still working well for me overall. However, I've noticed that at certain times during the day, the network stops working for about 10 minutes. Additionally, while gaming, especially when playing FC24, the network disconnects are more frequent than before. Due to the nature of my job, I purchased the MTN 5G router to use as a backup whenever these issues occur. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone, Got married after COPR and I'm aware that adding your spouse after receiving the COPR will result in the cancellation of the existing COPR, and the profile (including your spouse's) will be reviewed again. Could anyone who has recently gone through this process share their timeline and how long it took for a new COPR to be issued? Thanks. |

yusufhaji: This is already on page 1 of this thread. A minimum of CLB7 in LRWS is required to qualify for FSW and set up an EE profile (for IELTS this is a LRWS 6/6/6/6). To get max CRS points for language (CLB10) you need IELTS LRWS 8.5/8/7.5/7.5, the step below that (CLB9) is LRWS 8/7/7/7. 1 Like 1 Share |

Pepman: Yes, a deed of gift is still acceptable. Make sure in the description, your dad puts “gift deed” there so that it reflects when you print out your statement of account. Also, when submitting your application, include any of your dads signed means of ID (intl passport, Drivers license, etc) as part of the docs you’re submitting for POF. All the best!!! 4 Likes |

chimzyblack: As mentioned by someone earlier, it's not possible to register an expression of interest directly to Ontario. Instead, Ontario would express interest in your profile (NOI). Given that you've chosen Ontario as one of the provinces you're interested in residing in, your profile will be considered for their HCP draws. If Ontario wasn't selected, your profile won't be considered for the Ontario HCP draws. 2 Likes |

There’s a STEM pathway, and various provinces have pathways for tech occupations too (I’m conversant with Ontarios own coz I got nominated by them). Read and digest everything on page 1 then get into the pool as soon as possible. All the best!!!! 1 Like 2 Shares |
