Please how did you book your flight reservation without paying? I heard if you just book a flight reservation without paying it takes 48hrs for them to hold the booking for you. My question is even after the time given has elapsed, will the booking reservation still be valid to tender when going for biometrics?

I plan to.visit France , Spain and Italy and already indicated them on my application form I am unable to book a multicity reservation because of the routes .

I have done one for Abuja - Paris - Abuja .

How do I handle the Spain and Rome routes if I want to go my train . Can I also do book on hold or the ticket to France is enough .

I got a refusal mail last night.

I did my biometrics on the 18th of July and I got this refusal mail yesterday.

Since the money moved is from your own account, it should not be an issue.

For the payment of your visa fee, are you using a Naira card? It will not work. It is easier for your wife to pay the fee since she is in the US and the availability of Dollars should not be an issue for her. If your wife cannot pay for whatever reason, open a Dollar Dom account and fund it with Dollars. I hope this helps.

Hello to all the Gurus in the house. Please I need your guide!

I am applying for UK visit visa to celebrate my one year marriage anniversary. My wife will be joining me in the UK from the US. And the whole vacation days is 11 days. We intend to spend two days first in UK, two days in France, two days in Spain, two days in Switzerland, and finally going back to UK to spend two days before we depart back to our various countries. That means we will spend 4 days in UK.

My first issue is that I transferred large sum from my other gtbank account to my salary account (600k, 230k and 150k) In a space of 2 months, which makes the total money in my salary account to be 1.6m. This is because I will be submitting the bank statement of my salary account since I don’t have cash inflow to the gtbank account. The large sum I received into the gtbank was sent to me by my brother to help build my salary account. PLEASE HOW CAN I WRITE TO EXPLAIN THE LARGE SUM DEPOSIT SINCE IT WAS DEPOSITED FROM MY OTHER BANK THAT STILL BEARS MY NAME.
PS: My wife is the major sponsor of the whole vacation. The 1.6M in my account will also be used to support the vacation.

My second issue is that from the UK online visa application website, I tried to make payment of the visa fee, but it keep saying “payment was refused by your card provider”. Please what can I do to make the payment.

i was actually called up for the test,which over 4000 of us did,the cut off mark was high and differs from option to option,i chose welding and fabrication and cut off was 60%,luckily i had %70 so i was called for oral interview the second day 28th,since i haven't heard from them and i'm still expecting

The United States Government last Week, without prior information or notice, launched a New Immigration Policy called "Build America" It is a new merit base visa application system that seeks to increase the standard of scrutiny of visa application to prevent people of questionable reputation, economic immigrants and People without travel history from getting US visa.

Under this new rules, key changes have already been implemented without notice, as follows :

1. End of Drop box (automatic visa renewal without interview for existing visa holders is cancelled. Existing visa owners will now apply and be interviewed like everyone else when their visa expires )



2. Green Card to be scrapped
3. Applicants for B1 or B2 visas without adequate travel experience will now be automatically denied.

4. Applicant with monthly income below $1700 will now be considered as economic immigrants and denied.

5. Strong ties & attachments (compelling proofs of what can bring you back )to Nigeria now to be strongly emphasized.

If look at the attached picture, you will see No AOS stamped on the passport. AOS means Adjustment of Status.

Hey Guys.

I got a New International Passport, and when I was booking an appointment for us Embassy interview I couldn't change the old International Passport Number to the new International Passport Number. The old International Passport will expire in August, that was why I went to do a new International Passport.

I have sent an email to the US embassy using the feed back section to send the mail and they keep replying me that they have updated my International Passport with the new one that I should log in to see it. But when ever I log in, I still see the old passport number showing... The new passport number never reflect. Hope this won't be an issue if I go to the interview with my appointment form bearing my old passport number and my DS-160 bearing my new passport number.

Please I need your advice.

If you go to the embassy with ur phone, you will have to drop it with some hustlers at the gate entrance because you will not be allowed to enter the embassy with your phone. And those hustlers charge for keeping your phone for you. They may charge you 1500 for big Android phone. I went with a Nokia touch light phone and pay 200 for them to keep it for me. Make sure all your documents are complete if not those guys hustling at the gate will charge you like 2k to print just one page.

You can Lodge at Saint Mathias Hotel in Utako there in Abuja. U can get a cab from the hotel there to the US embassy for 500 niara. The hotel is very close to the embassy. That's were I lodge when I went for my interview last week. Good luck!

Bro, you should have figured out that, VO actually denied you visa because you apply for Associate degree while you surppose to go for Master Degree. You have assocate Degree which is ND and HND that is equivalent to USA bachelor degree. Why cant you apply for Msc ?. Well atimes you need to scold some so that they will get it right fast. He might be blaming the V.O for denying him while the V.O is actually saving him from wasting money and his precious time. The associate degree is just like repetition of what he has already studied. When scolded, he will see his wrong and put more effort to get it right. It's not everytime you use soft words.
