Sports / Ex Arsenal Defender Drops Suicide Note by Jossey4real: 6:52pm On Dec 24, 2016
As we approach Christmas, a former Arsenal player Kenny Sanson has dropped a suicide message to the world.

The alcohol addicts says he is tired of the hassles of human existence and so wants to see himself off by taking his life.

Claims have it that the highly talented defender who used to earn £1,200-a-week has been reduced to nothing, having just £50 left.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Sansom who made 637 club appearances in the space of 19 years said: “Football was so easy for me. I went on a pitch and it was a piece of p***, but life now isn’t. I can’t handle it. I feel s***,”

“I’m drinking four bottles of dry white wine a day. I used to always drink Mateus Rose, but I’ve moved to this now because it’s stronger and I need it to be able to feel any effect.

“This is the worst I’ve ever felt. I haven’t brushed my teeth for seven days. I don’t know if it’s depression.

“I’m in a state. I know I’m drinking myself to death, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop drinking. I don’t want to stop, that’s the truth.

“Last week, two police officers came to see me and said they were worried I was going to hurt myself because of things I’d been saying.

“I want to kill myself . I don’t feel like I’ve got anything left to live for. I want to forget my life. I can’t handle life any more. If I could end it now, I would.”

Sports / Wenger: Why I Refused To Join PSG by Jossey4real: 5:39am On Sep 13, 2016
If you have been an Arsenal fan for at least the past seven years, then you should have heard of PSG's interest in Arsene Wenger on two different occasions. The first should be sometime around 2011 while another was in November last year.

On both occasions, the Frenchman turned down their advances and this made some wonder why he did so even when it meant a pay rise for him.

In an interview ahead of Arsenal's clash with Paris Saint Germain, Wenger revealed that his love for the North-London club was the reason he did not pat attention to external offers.

When quizzed on the topic, he responded:"Because I love where I am.

‘I know well the PSG owners but I feel always I remained loyal to Arsenal Football Club because I think it’s a club that has the qualities I love. And that’s why.

‘This is an important game but I don’t think it goes beyond two good sides playing against each other.

‘There’s no symbolism to it, no symbolic meaning to this match. We just want to pick up the three points.’

Arsenal and PSG will lock horns on Tuesday night as both sides look to begin their Champions League campaign on a good note.

Sports / Arsenal Midfield Maestro Wants Jersey Number Swap by Jossey4real: 10:46am On Sep 04, 2016
The Arsenal number 10 jersey is now vacant owing to the fact that Jack Wilshere has joined AFC Bournemouth on a season-long loan and according to reports, a teammate of his wants it.

Mesut Ozil who recently claimed this same number after Lukas Podolski officially retired from the German national team is also eyeing the same at Arsenal.

In an interview with the German newspaper Express, the Premier League's highest assist holder for last season (2015/16) went straight to make it known that he is interested in occupying the slot.

“It just went free, and I definitely want it,” Ozil responded when quizzed on the availability of the number 10 jersey at Arsenal.

The club has already released its squad numbers for the present season so it remains to be seen whether the club would grant his request for a shirt number swap or not. Would that be one of his demands by the time he is to sign a new contract very soon? We shall see!

Business To Business / Re: Newly Found Shipping Agent For China Importers - Tested And Proven by Jossey4real: 12:36pm On Nov 05, 2015
Ismukha:
Hello everyone, I'm new here and what happened is this: I'm urgently in need of a reliable freight forwarder from china to ship my products. The Nonikings Logistics whatsapp number I have seems not doing through. I have sent messages to the same number but not delivered. The worst is that, the seller is waiting for me to give directive on where to deliver my products since I'm using a third party agent. Please help biko. Lol

I have some question?
How does one pay the seller? Is is that you pay the seller before he/she sends your goods to the shipping company or he gets paid by the shipping company after the goods get to them?

Also, on which site did you make your orders? I am planning to use 1688 which I learnt do not accept Nigerian cards.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Arsenal Successfully Complete First january Transfer Deal. by Jossey4real: 9:04am On Jan 03, 2015
Arsenal have successfully completed their first transfer deal in the January transfer window which officially opened today, January 3. It is not what you're thinking though.

An outgoing move has seen Arsenal striker, Lukas Podolski sign a 6-month loan deal with Inter Milan. This will see him at the club till at least the end of the present campaign. There is also an option to make the deal permanent which Internazionale will likely do if the German star impresses.

The 2014 World Cup winner after being starved of playtime showed his disgust and after talks with the club, one of Arsene Wenger's best players was thrown out to a club who knows his worth.

Confirming the news Inter tweeted saying: “22:05: here’s @Podolski10 shortly after landing in Milan #FCIM.”

Not too long after that, the 29-year-old who has once played for Cologne and Bayern Munich expressed joy over the success of the transfer.

“I am very happy [to be joining Inter]. I expect so much from this adventure. I know the Italian league very well. We are aiming to qualify for the Champions League and to win in the Europa League. I have spoken with Roberto Mancini, I think he is a great coach,” Podolski stated.

Roberto Mancini revealed he has been a long time admirer of Podolski and that his arrival at the club will be a boost in their quest for glory.

"I know him quite well as a player, I followed him at Arsenal and at Bayern before," he said in a Q & A session on Twitter.

"He's a strong player, natually left-sided. He would be a great reinforcement."

Arsenal fans are saddened over the decision to let Podolski leave. The WengerOut campaign has even become more tense on social media after the German's departure from the Emirates Stadium.

Sports / SEE PICTURE: Fans Welcome Podolski As He Lands In Italy To Sign Deal. by Jossey4real: 12:34am On Jan 03, 2015
Lukas Podolski has just landed in Italy to finalize his loan move. You need to see the number of fans who were waiting to see him arrive at the airport.

The Arsenal forward has been linked with a possible loan switch to Inter Milan and news just coming in confirms he is on the verge of completing a deal which might see him never return to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger initially tagged Internazionale's interest a joke when they first came with a laughable offer. He stated that the German will not be leaving but later revealed that the Italian club returned with a better offer which might see the deal come to pass. As we speak Podolski is out of North-London.

Arriving at the airport and seeing the crowd that have come to welcome him, the 29-year-old forward who is now tired of sitting on the Arsenal bench was moved with compassion. He had an Inter Milan scarf on his neck and another which he held up high.

While this will be good news for Milan fans, it is certain that Arsenal faithfuls would be so infuriated right now. A player of Podolski's calibre is not one that should be thrown out just like that. He deserves a better treatment than this.

He will be greatly missed both on and off the pitch because he is awesome on the field of play and jovial off it. Success is all we wish him as he continues his career elsewhere.

Sports / Arsenal Top Target Reveals Truth About Recent Revelation. by Jossey4real: 7:15pm On Dec 30, 2014
Oh my God! Haha! So this was a lie afterall. This morning, I made a post about a certain Sevilla defensive midfielder who revealed he had agreed a deal to join an unknown English club. Being that Arsenal had been linked with this guy, many believed Arsenal have finally signed someone.

Could you believe it was a prank? Grzegorz Krychowiak's post on Twitter two days ago was just an attempt to tease fans of some English teams most especially Arsenal as he knows we are greatly in need of someone in defensive midfield position.

The Polish international has now come out to let us know that he was only joking. On the day he made that tweet, December 28, it was Dia de los Santos Inocentes, a day which is equivalent to 'April Fools' Day' in Spain.

It was a bit of fun and the 24-year-old later admitted it. What he wrote in Polish translates to: "Acclimatisation in Spain is going very well … of course it was a joke!!!!! # VamosMiSevilla ,"

We will now have to continue our hunt for a defensive midfielder. Who knows? Krychowiak may eventually become a Gunner anytime soon. What he did, even though it's a sarcasm may result into a blessing for himself and Arsenal. He has just made the whole world notice him. I just hope Arsene is watching.
Sorry for getting pranked by someone who was forced into football by his brother at the age of twelve.

Sports / Lukas Podolski Gets Angry With Wenger once Again. by Jossey4real: 1:40am On Dec 28, 2014
Lukas Podolski has voiced out his frustration yet again as he does not know what more he has to do to be given regular starts by Arsene Wenger.

The German international is not happy because he has performed well, scoring goals in a large percentage of the games he has been included in so far this season but despite all his contributions to the team, he is still being ignored . The worst part is that he will find it hard to get regular playtime with the German national side if he continues to get this kind of treatment from his current employers.

"A transfer? I have to explain things", he told Polish outlet Super Express.

"I am not young anymore and I cannot afford to wait for a chance from the bench.

"I am 29 and my only thought is to play.

"I am not crazy and I do not want to continue my career in the stands.

"What more can I now show Arsenal that I can do? I scored in the Champions League, even scoring twice, and I ended up on the bench. I don't know what more I can do.

"In the coming days I will speak with the club and clarify their position towards me."

The former Koln man will now have to meet with Arsenal and reach an agreement over his future. If they cannot guarantee him of regular football which was the reason why he joined them in the first place then he will have to move on elsewhere.

"Currently there is nothing that is a foregone conclusion. First I have to talk with Arsenal and understand what they want."

Inter Milan are said to be interested in signing Podolski. Arsene Wenger on the other hand is not willing to lose him. What will happen next? We shall soon know but I see him starting against Westham tomorrow since Olivier Giroud is suspended.

The 1992 calendar isn't the same as that of 2014. If you were so vigilant, you would have noticed that even though Jan 1st of both years is/was a Wednesday, 1992 was a leap year but 2014 isn't. February 1992 had 29 days while February 2014 will have 28 days.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Arsenal Asia Tour 2013: Club Executives Plan For Match In Vietnam. by Jossey4real: 8:49pm On Mar 05, 2013
Arsenal Football Club are making plans to schedule a pre-season fixture to hold in Vietnam, according to the club's official website.

As a result, club executives have travelled to Vietnam to discuss with it's football governing body over a chance of the Arsenal first team playing there in July.

Arsenal's Chief commercial officer, Tom Fox and marketing director, Angus Kinnear are currently holding talks with the organisers in Hanoi to see if Arsenal would be able to play a match there as part of their Asia Tour 2013.

Speaking about the tour, Fox told reporters,,

“Arsenal Football Club has so many loyal supporters all across Asia and we are delighted to be here in Vietnam discussing the possibility of playing a match in Hanoi in July."

"Initial negotiations have gone very well and we are hoping to announce developments on our pre-season tour activities in the near future. The Club and the players have hugely enjoyed successful pre-season visits to Asia in the past two years, and we are all looking forward to bringing the team to this region again this year.”

Arsenal's last two pre-season tours were both in Asia and that of this year wouldn't be an exception. So far, just one match had been fixed for the Arsenal 2013 Asia Tour and it would hold in Jakarta, Indonesia in July. More details would be announced regarding the tour as soon as all plans have been finalised. Stay Tuned.

Sports / Andre Villas-boas Mocks Arsenal After North-london Derby Loss. by Jossey4real: 6:19pm On Mar 04, 2013
Arsenal's hopes of clinching a top four spot in the English Premier League was made gloomy after a 2-1 loss to arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby on Sunday. As Arsene Wenger and his boys are still trying their best to forget about the loss and move on, Andre Villas Boas had hit out at Arsenal saying Tottenham's win over them would even make them lose more points.

“It’s not a big enough margin yet for us to be completely safe but what we think is that it can have a direct effect on their motivation,” Villas-Boas said.

“On ours too of course – and we have a difficult game against Liverpool coming up – but particularly on them. We are on an upward spiral in terms of confidence and they are on a negative spiral in terms of results. To get out of that negative spiral is extremely difficult.”

“Playing all these big games can give us all a lift. The players become better, the squad becomes better and more experienced. But we keep our feet on the floor.

“I’ve seen so many shifts in league positions at the end of the season – so you can’t really stop, you have to continue.”

Sports / Objections Over News Of Arsenal's Possible Sale To Arab Investors. by Jossey4real: 10:25am On Mar 04, 2013
The news of Arsenal's possible takeover by a Middle-East Consortium surfaced yesterday. It was said that investors from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates had been working on the deal for about 4 months. £1.5 billion was the reported bid.

On hearing the news, there were mixed reactions by many Arsenal fans. The ones who wanted Wenger out said they wanted the sale to take effect while some were against it saying it would ruin the club. I was neutral though.

Amidst the new development, some sources have laid doubts on the possibility of this deal. According to a local source, the deal won't happen because the UAE and Qatar won't run a single football club together.

"The UAE and Qatar will never do a football deal together. Qatar might do something on their own, but they wouldn't talk about it, they'd do it. They wouldn't negotiate through the media in this way."

A football finance consultant, David Bick, who had been involved in many club takeovers also expressed his doubts.

"The valuation is nonsensical. Arsenal are odds on not to qualify for the Champions League, so £1.5bn is toppy to say the least."

According to another source,

"Qatar might buy something in England but when you have a single shareholder, you don't negotiate through the media. There are a few conspiracy theories going around about who put this out."

Arsenal's communication director, Mark Gonnella revealed Stan Kroenke who owns the highest shares at the club is not willing to sell his stakes at the moment.

"Stan Kroenke is committed to Arsenal for the long term and has no intention of selling his stake,"
As a Gunner, do you want Arsenal handed over to Arab investors who'll spend big during transfers just like Manchester City??

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Arsenal And Chelsea In Race For Midfield Enforcer. by Jossey4real: 1:35pm On Jan 20, 2013
http;//www.arsenalterritory.com

Arsenal and Chelsea had been put on red alert as Westham's attempt to tie a new deal for their prolific midfield enforcer, Mohammed Diame has failed.

It's believed the midfielder is no more willing to remain at the club and as such wants a transfer. Arsene Wenger has been an admirer of Diame as a result of his ability to command play and would be looking to add him to his team.

Westham do not want him to leave but Sam Alardyce has admitted that talks had't been positive.

“The owners have tried to renegotiate the contract, but they haven’t been successful at the moment.” he said.

This is an opportunity for Wenger to add depth to his team.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Arsenal Want Kaka, Launch £30 Million Bid For Another Player. by Jossey4real: 5:05pm On Jan 17, 2013
There are rumours that Arsene Wenger is looking to land a big name at the Emirates soon in person of Real Madrid midfielder, Kaka.
Even though Arsenal presently have a strong midfield, Wenger is still willing to add more depth to his team knowing well the goalscoring capability of the one-time World Best Footballer.
The Brazillian may be enticed by the offer as he would be desiring anew challenge elsewhere after a series of struggles at the Bernabeu.
Many might be wondering why Wenger should go for a player who is getting to the peak of his career but little do they know that Kaka is a player who could add more strength to the Arsenal team.
His price tag shouldn't be a problem for Arsenal but what about his wages? Not that Arsenal cannot pay his wages but they won't want to go beyond what they have in their structure.
Elsewhere, it was gathered that Arsenal has made a £30 million bidfor a player. Who he is I can't tell at the moment but he was rumoured to be a striker. Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait for any development.
