Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State has been shut indefinitely.

This is following the students protest earlier today which turned violent.


The students were protesting the “no school fees no exam” policy by the university management, before it turned violent leading to the indefinite closure of the institution.

Following the violent protest of students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, today Monday, November 22, 2021, the Vice Chancellor, Professor

Olugbenga E. IGE, has, on behalf of the Senate of the University, directed that the University be closed indefinitely.

All students are, therefore, advised to vacate their Halls of Residence and the University campus with immediate effect.

Parents and guardians should please note this important information.

At least 5 students of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) have collapsed due to a congestion at the ICT center of the institution, KikioTolu News can confirm.

The incident occurred earlier today, as students gathered for a test at the ICT center.

Despite the huge numbers of students that are said to have collapsed, there is no security or ambulance on ground to assist the students.

While the Agency is working on ascertaining the status of the truck with Lagos State plate number: APP713XL, we wish to state, without equivocation that, no outdoor mobile advert truck within the jurisdiction of our dear State is licensed to display such crass immorality of the calibre that the owner(s) of this truck exhibited on our roads over the weekend.

The government of Lagos State, under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu has zero tolerance for any slightest attempt by anyone, under any guise, to debase the moral fabric of our dear State. Nobody can hide under the guise of engaging in outdoor advertising business to display obscenity that is antithetical to our cherished cultural and moral values.

Sead Kolasinac has taken to Twitter to share a new photo with Mesut Ozil after the pair were attacked by knife-wielding thugs in London.

In a viral video, Ozil's childhood friend and Bosnian international, Kolasinac was filmed fighting the knife-wielding moped thugs with his bare hands as they attempted to steal the Mercedes G-Class SUV they were driving in. Watch the video here.

Arsenal had yesterday said the players are fine, and that has now been confirmed in a recent post on Twitter by Kolasinac.

Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil were both involved in a carjacking attempt by an armed gang in a London street, with the defender fighting off the gang.

In a video that has circulated on social media, full-back Kolasinac is seen fighting off two men who are wielding knives.

The player can be seen jumping out of a vehicle to confront the masked men who had pulled alongside the car on mopeds.

In the footage, both car jackers were seen to be armed and were filmed brandishing knives at 26-year-old Kolasinac.

A crying child has been spotted in a video begging his dad not to call the police on a black man, who did nothing wrong.

35-years-old Wesly Michel was waiting for his friend at an apartment building in San Francisco, only to be tagged a 'trespasser' by a white father.

The pair began to talk, and the child of the man, can be heard telling his father: “Dad, don’t. Please go." The boy says: “Daddy go. It’s the better; I agree with him, daddy.”

The man had said Mr Michel should get his friend to come down and collect him using the call box, while Mr Michel says that the father would be the “next person on TV”.

“Listen to your son, walk away,” Mr Michel says. “I will stop this. I will stop the recording.”

Mr Michel’s friend appears to come from outside the building, with the child pleading for himself and his father to leave.

“Told you. Let’s go now,” the young boy says and begins pulling the adult. “Daddy, look what you’ve gotten us into. Let’s go!”

The man asks for confirmation that the resident is Mr Michel’s friend and ends his call with police after saying that Mr Michel is “actually here with a resident”.

Late June, the app was testing the feature that allows users share posts from their WhatsApp status with other apps.

Though there is a direct link beneath your status update that says "share to Facebook", you should also notice that you can now share your status to other apps like Reddit, Instagram, Gmail, and even your Google My Business (You know what that means to business owners).

For now there is also no option to have your WhatsApp status automatically shared to another service; WhatsApp tells me it wants the feature to be an active decision on the part of the user.

Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has just hit one million followers on Instagram. His social media page has been on a rise since his arrest by the EFCC.

Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has just signed for Qingdao Huanghai, in the Chinese second tier.

The 36-year-old Ivorian legend has not played since having his contract at Greek side Olympiakos terminated in December 2018.

At one point, he even had to deny reports that he had retired from professional football after his agent said he had "ended his career as a champion".

The former Barcelona and Man City star has now moved to China (just days after Rafa moved to the country).

The US Congress has asked Facebook to halt the launch of its Libra cryptocurrency until lawmakers have had more time to investigate the ramifications of the company’s actions.

Facebook unveiled its plans for Libra on 18 June, with the Libra Association stating the cryptocurrency platform would be slated for a launch in 2020, but lawmakers are now asking for the plans to be halted.

Before it proceeds any further, the House Financial Services Committee, wants to examine risks around cyber security, global financial markets and national security concerns, it said in a letter to Facebook.
