My (renewed) drivers license was not ready when I was leaving Nigeria. I asked a friend to help collect it and send via courier when it was ready. And it was intact when I received it. This was late 2019, though.

It's very easy for one to say "you'll get over it, give it time" when you have not felt the hurt of betrayal before.

Yes, you might get over it eventually, but if the hurt is from some you loved and completely trusted, it will literally tear you apart. You will break down! Depression might creep in and you will begin to understand why some resort to suicide, because the pain can be unbearable.

There have been a lone accident this morning as two rear tyre with hassle of a truck gets pulled out from the body at Anthony, Lagos. Gistvic Reports.

There haven't been any recorded of life lost or injuries as LASTMA officials are looking into the situation.

ECA (Unilag Masters) using WES took 5 months altogether, partly because I was waiting for my certificate to be ready for collection.

My application for SOR got misplaced, somehow. I had to apply for it again. The certificate was ready before the SOR was.

Awestruck I fall to my knees as I humbly proclaim, You are amazing, God!

My application does not have any special twist or turns that makes it spectacular.

The decision to travel was in March 2018.

IELTS (LRSW 9 8.5 7 7) was attempted once. I remember not getting above 35/40 in all the listening practices while preparing for the exam. Nervousness got the better of me during speaking. It was just God's grace.

MEP was a huge relief; I was expecting an ADR on that.

Raised an enquiry asking for my VO on Dec 7, 2018. Response came 5 days later that it was CPC, Ottawa.

Tracking September AOR NGR single applicants was the assignment I gave myself to predict when I would likely get PPR. GCMS notes did not raise any red flag, and all was completed except security.

This morning, when I saw an update notification on my profile without any apparent update, I was happy I got a Ghost Update. I opened my Outlook and a Ready for Visa mail dropped. I didn't know when my eyes started waterworks while singing Hillsong's So Will I

NOCs:Got Reference Letters for two different NOCs from 3 different companies I worked with copies of payslips, appointment letters, confirmation letters and disengagement letters were uploaded.

@ first, I never believed this Canadian express entry was real. I even Laughed at my friends cos they were always glued to the systems at work reading things I thought never made sense (to me duo), until 3 of my colleagues Immigrated to Cannyland using this same express entry under the provincial nomination program.

After I made the decision to immigrate, I asked for directions. I was given materials and sites to prep for IELTS and then was directed to this forum. Started following this forum from part 2 ( page zero as usual - that way i got to read more testimony and was gingered) and also the IELTS forum too.
