Religion / Re: Pastor Tb Joshua's Church Being Investigated By Uk Health Officials by NicolasN: 11:31am On Oct 22, 2011
What are they saying Simple because U.K does not believe in God does not mean they should criticize Christianity. They should rather find something to do about the Muslims taking over u.k using churches for mosque. BBC reporters should rather investigate on that and not the result of the power God in people's life cos' they have little or no knowledge about it.

This news on BBC can be a strategy to confuse people (Christians) that there is no more miracle whereas God remains the healer. The fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary does not mean that there is no more miracles. He lives! The age of miracle has not pass the miracle worker is still alive and His name is Jesus Christ!

Thank you.

Sports / A Query To Chris Green’s Remarks About Tb Joshua by NicolasN: 11:36am On Oct 14, 2011
I would like to know what our honourable - Chairman Chris Green (oyinbo name?) is really saying. What is unpatriotic about asking your country to pray for its national team or about warning the nation that he sees problem in our future? Isn’t this what the ss is doing? Can we call our national security force unpatriotic? Shebi they are warning us about problems in the future as well.
The chairman of the Technical Committee of the NFF has the responsibility of ensuring the team’s success and he has failed us miserably. He should answer this question – if you want to now blame the team’s failure on the prophecy of TB Joshua, why did you not do something about the prophecy when you first heard it. The logical thing would be to contact the one who gave the prophecy. But what did you do? You decided to go and call other pastors to pray on the field. Is that what we needed? What were you doing? Praying against the prophet?
You say TB Joshua is unpatriotic – look at yourself! Why did you go and change your name? Where does Chris Green come from? This is a white man’s name. Are you ashamed of your roots? How can you say you want to be the chairman of people you are ashamed of? Now, we are ashamed of you. Look of T.B. Joshua’s name – Temitope Balogun – pure Naija name. Where is Nigeria in your name? Why you remove Naija from your name? Which tribe you come from? No one can tell. Do you want to hide from your people?
TB Joshua is the last person that should be blamed for this result. Actually he is to be commended because he gave a warning in time. Who is to be blamed then? Where was your technical advice to our team? Where was your technical intervention during the game when you saw that we couldn’t score?
Its 25 years since we didn’t qualify for the AFCON, well done for setting that record. You will go down in history, Mr Chris Green (from oyinbo land).
Swallow your tongue and accept your responsibility for this – you and all the rest of you. You guys have failed us. Now that this has happened, you can at least admit your own fault and not push the blame somewhere else. Where are the super eagles that we once knew? You have killed their creativity – and now you have chosen to go and abuse God’s mouthpiece. May God forgive you o. Where is the Naija of our youth where the super eagles ruled and men of God were honoured?
Sports / Adeboye's Predicted For Super Eagles "all Shall Be Well" - TB Joshua's by NicolasN: 1:58pm On Oct 12, 2011
There was a prediction earlier for the Super Eagle by Pastor E.A Adeboye. Here are his words:

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has predicted better days ahead for sports in the country.

Adeboye who was speaking at the special thanksgiving/prayer service for Nigerian Sports held at the Headquarters of the church on Redemption Way, Ebute Meta,Lagos revelled the good old days when Nigeria was first among equals in the comity of sporting nations but rued her steady decline in the past years.

“Once upon a time Nigeria was a leading nation in sports, I remember a time when we use to have world boxing champions from this country, when we have one of the best footballers in the world; in the person of Thunder Balogun. But now, our team which is originally called Super Eagles is now been called Super Chickens by some people. I know if we cry unto God to intervene, things will change for the better and the glory of the country will be restored,” he said.

Present at the event, which was first of its kind, were former Internationals, Segun Odegbami, Peter Rufai, Gerrad Njoku, Lagos State Football Boss, Taiwo Afinnih alongside former National tennis coach, Babatunde Obisanya amongst others.

Tayo Oreweme, the Liaison Officer for the National Sports commission office in Lagos, was also on hand to represent the Sports Minster, Ibrahim Bio, who was originally scheduled to attend the event.

Oreweme commended the initiators of the programme while stating that minister was pleased that the church was showing some concern for sporting matters in the country.

Also speaking at the event, Odegbami said that given the dire straits Nigerian sports finds itself, divine intervention was clearly needed noting that the decision by the church to pray for Nigerian sports meant that breakthrough is around the corner.

Are we in a better day today?

Nawa ooooo.

"Christ Embassy members shock Pastor Chris Steal N60m church funds"

Chinelo, 21, told Saturday Sun that she wanted to be among the beneficiaries of the prophecy of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
According to her, the pastor always talked about speedy prosperity propelled by making the use of available opportunities.
“It’s all about prosperity, increase in speed. That is what Pastor chris taught us in church. That is my own interpretation of what I did. My mind convinced me to toe that path, since I have been seeing all kinds of fraudulent people in the church, and know how they get rich. I thought that if actually they got rich through all these means, I could also get rich doing what I did.”
Chinelo explained that she got the inspiration through the fat accounts of their former managing Director, Pastor Foluke.
According to her: our madam sent Miriam to check her balance, using the ATM machine. She came back and told me that she saw N4 million each in tow of her accounts. I wondered why my madam, whose salary is N62, 000 a month should have such an amount in her account. I remembered that she had been telling me to transfer money from accounts. She also collected money from me when I was handling cash in the bulk unit, saying she was investing. I now realized what she had been doing with all the money she asked me to withdraw and give her. I never knew what is was all about, but when I checked I got the answer. I told Miriam of my plans and she agreed.
“We opened accounts and transferred  money into them and thereafter shared it among ourselves. When Mabel discovered what we were doing, I also advised her to join us or die as a pauper, since we were paid N25, 000 a month. She agreed and we continued withdrawing till the fraud was discovered.”
Chinelo, a Guidance and Counseling graduate, revealed that such fraud has been going on undetected because the bank is not well structured. Also, she said that none of the staff had banking experience.
The lady said: The bank is not well-structured. They do not have any professionals running it. We run the bank ourselves. Our madam, who is about 32 years, does not have any working experience. We all started the bank together in November 2008. We were employed through a memo sent to our pastors that they needed hands at the bank. We did not go for any banking training. The madam of the bank does not know anything about banking. We read books to learn about banking.
“I got the job as a volunteer staff of Christ embassy and my primary assignment was to work in the bank. By that time, we were not even given a licence by CBN to start running the bank. I have confessed and asked God to forgive me and I believe He has. My parents are aware, as they asked me to come and report myself and confess everything that I have done.”

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal To Win The Premiership And D Champions League - T.b Joshua by NicolasN: 10:36am On Dec 25, 2009
Look stop using the name of a Prophet or a man of God as a joke when it comes to things you are discussing. When God said "touch not my anointed" He does not really mean until you touch him even mere words of abuse on him or lieing against him is a touch. Joke when you want to joke and remove the name of a prophet or a man of God simple. And make sure you always examine all things in the light of God's word before you jump into a hasty conclusion. Remember the prophet or the man of God you are talking about has a TV station did you confirm this on a video?

Religion / Prophet T.b. Joshua - Quite Different by NicolasN: 8:58pm On Aug 26, 2009
It is difficult to build a house, but it’s easy to destroy it in a twinkle of an eye. In Nigeria, and indeed the world over, bad news sells like hot cake. The religious controversies that surrounded the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) revered General Overseer, Prophet T.B Joshua over the years could be traced to some dubious, iniquitous and callous propagandists who never wanted the gospel of Christ to be heard. There have been several baseless vituperations and invectives from different respected ministers of God and disgruntled disciples attacking the personality of Prophet T.B Joshua. And over the years, many people still believe that T.B is not a man of God. Read more, http://www.thetbjoshuafanclub./2009/08/09/the-good-side-of-prophet-t-b-joshua/

Religion / Re: Why Can't Pastor E.adeboye, Chris Oyakhilome, T.b Joshua Pray And Heal Yaradua. by NicolasN: 12:26am On Jul 09, 2009
The thing is that when it comes to religion, one has to be very careful. When you talk of religious leader why didn't you also mention some Muslim leaders. Don't they pray and it comes to pass? You see I have notice that some radical Muslims find way to cause confusion between religion which is not one of the reasons or the reason Nairaland is established. I think you should speak on what you know and not to judge or criticize people.

I really want to know because I felt touched after reading through your message. This is a message to people out there that If they don't have anything doing they should not trespass men of God. They should just stay clear. They are called men of God. They should underline the word GOD and honour their creator.

hmm,  purefact. A prophet remains a prophet. Judgement is for God. Why should you tempt him. If you were to be alive during the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, you would have asked Him to command his shoes to become bed. Isn't that satan By your accusations you are becoming a tempter which is satan. Sorry to say.

Do you have a family? You quickly need to be advised. Or else you are bringing the wrath of God on you and your family.
