Religion / Tb Joshua Rape Accuser Speaks Out: “i Used Money In Buying People” by NicolasN: 1:11am On Jul 04, 2019
More revealing footage containing various confessions from T.B. Joshua’s rape accuser, Bisola Johnson, has emerged.

In the new footage, she not only admits to having a mental problem and being a liar but she also confessed to bribing people with money. “I’ve even used money in buying people.” she cried, while begging TB Joshua to return to the church that she now claims to have been imprisoned in.

Bisola Johson had, during the protest marches against the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly’s (COZA) Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo over rape allegations, accused Pastor T.B. Joshua of sexually molesting her for 14 years.

Religion / TB Joshua Blows Hot, Warns Those Giving Church ‘Dirty Money’ by NicolasN: 7:19pm On May 11, 2018

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeuzPs10M0Q

Pastor T.B. Joshua has rebuked churchgoers who rely on their “dirty money” to pave way for them to receive God’s blessings.

The cleric, in a sermon, decried the level of ‘pride’ shown by church members nowadays.

“We are too proud – that is why we believe so much in money,” he told congregants at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

“‘Money answereth everything’ – that is the voice of pride”, he continued in the sermon titled ‘Read The Bible With Forgiveness’.

“When you speak, one can hear the voice of money. When you walk, one can see the traces of money… But money is dirty; the journey of money is too far”.

The cleric advised that all genuine Christians should rather engage in an assignment in their various churches, stressing the need to set a day aside in the week for such purpose.

“Get interested in His plans and work with His projects. Go and work in the church where humility can come,” he candidly counselled, explaining this would afford the opportunity to work freely with people irrespective of their social class.

Joshua recounted how his own mother would regularly bring him to church at the weekends and he watched intently as she diligently cleaned the church premises and simultaneously prayed.

“When I asked her what she was saying in her prayers, she told me, ‘Lord, as I clean Your house, clean my life, future, family and children’. Here I am today.”

The cleric further added that people should stay within their respective churches to render their services, without feeling the need to join a ‘megachurch’.

“It’s not the size of the ministry that determines the strength of the ministry,” he explained.

“The strength of the ministry is the relationship of the ministry to God; it is not the population or crowd, fame or popularity. You can see just two members in a church that is more connected to God than the biggest church,” he added.

Joshua further encouraged the faithful not to lose heart when facing persecution, using his own ministerial experience as an example.

“When you look at my antecedents, you will see I have more degrees in persecution than praise. I am a professor when it comes to persecution but I am just a first-degree holder in praise.

“Well, I am not expecting praise because my reward is over there,” he concluded.

You have not seen anything; this is just February. Like my country (Nigeria), by May 16th, write it down. I will tell you what will happen. From May 14th, I will tell you what will happen."

Religion / TB Joshua Supports Libya Deportees With N1.8m ($5,000)! by NicolasN: 3:20pm On May 08, 2018
On Tuesday 8th May 2018, over 50 Nigerian deportees who just arrived from Libya came to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in a disheveled and desperate state. Recounting their sordid stories, they explained how they had seen the height of human brutality in the course of their illegal journey, many being “sold into slavery” upon their arrival in Libya and facing inhumane treatment and torture at the hands of their captors. They had squandered their life-savings on the suicidal journey, returning to their homeland with nothing but the clothes on their backs and scars on their bodies to show for their years abroad in search of "greener pastures".

After hearing of their plight, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners gave the group the sum of N1.8m ($5,000) to help start their lives afresh in Nigeria.

"Your rewards in life are determined by the problems you solve for someone else." - T.B. Joshua

Religion / T.B. Joshua Prophecy Fulfilled As Kim Jung-un Crosses South Korea Boarder by NicolasN: 12:35pm On Apr 27, 2018
T.B. JOSHUA PROPHECY FULFILLED AS KIM JUNG-UN CROSSES SOUTH KOREA BORDER?

Kim Jong-un became the first North Korean leader to step into the South in 65 years to meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in for a peace summit on Friday but popular Nigerian pastor, T.B. Joshua, claims to have foreseen the historic reconciliation nearly four years ago.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, the cleric began to ‘prophetically’ speak on April 3, 2014 during an event at a South Korean church while tensions between the two nations were still high. He said, "In your country here [South Korea], whatever threat you are having now is not a threat. You people will still come to the table to talk reconciliation between you and the North. There is no fight between South and North. Whatever threat now, they will still come together and discuss. They will not fight but there will be threat, threat, threat There will be gunshot threat but you will still discuss. There will be reconciliation. I am seeing reconciliation coming. Discussion will come."

Travel / Govt Seeks Churches Support For Tourism Growth by NicolasN: 9:57pm On Jul 08, 2016
This article is from Zimbabwe, but it mentions how much Nigeria has benefited from religious tourism. It's very interesting. Our government should really focus more on religious tourism considering how much money it brings into our the economy.

THE Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry has called on religious organisations to complement government efforts in promoting peace in the country.

BY TARISAI MANDIZHA

part of the more than 50 000 people who attended United Family International Church (Ufic) ministries 3 day crusade in at Mbare grounds on Wednesday night

In an interview with NewsDay yesterday, Tourism and Hospitality Industry deputy minister Annastacia Ndhlovu said the church has a big role to play in maintaining peace in the country by complementing government’s efforts.

“As the government ministry responsible for tourism in the country, we are calling upon all the churches to maintain peace in the country. I also call on the churches in the country to help government consolidate the economic gains which have been achieved through tourism,” she said.

“Before any big testimony, there is a big test and the church has to practice what they preach. This just gives people to show their capacity. We have seen how much religious tourism in Nigeria has helped the tourism sector to grow.”
According to official statistics of the 10% of people that enter Nigeria, 6% will be going to the Synagogue Church of all Nations led by Temitope Balogun Joshua, 3% will be attending Chris Oyakhilome’s church, while the remainder (1%) will go to other churches.

Ndhlovu said in the case of Nigeria, it showed how important religion was in the prevailing environment, but it only thrived through a peaceful environment.

“All the churches and every peace-loving Zimbabwean, we are calling upon them to complement government efforts to maintain peace, which is a fertile ground for development,” she said.

Her remarks come at a time the church was actively involved in mobilising citizens to assert their rights.

A cleric, Evan Mawarire, was instrumental in mobilising support for yesterday’s stayaway against the deteriorating economy.

Ndhlovu encouraged Zimbabweans to cultivate a holiday culture through promoting domestic tourism.

She said tourism players should come up with packages tailor-made for locals and also encouraged schools to promote tourism development.

“We have all seen how the religious sector benefits. For example, recently, we have witnessed the Women Conference by Seventh Day Adventist Church, a conference by Uebert Angel, conferences being held by Walter Magaya’s Prophetic Healing and Deliverancy Ministries and when such events take place, the economy benefits,” Ndhlovu said.

“We want to see how we can tap into the bulk of the religious tourism in Zimbabwe. Even domestic tourism is benefiting from this. People come to Harare every week, and all these are benefits which are coming from the religious sector.”

Religion / El-rufai Vs Apostle Suleman by NicolasN: 6:43pm On Apr 17, 2016
LEADERSHIP Weekend decided to look into the prophecies of Apostle Suleman for Nigeria in the last four years:

Examine This Yourself.

At the beginning of every year, different men of God in Nigeria go to mountains to seek the face of God, for them to know the promises and warnings God has for the nation. However, not all the prophecies that were predicted by some men of God have come to pass, but some of them had. Igho oyoyo writes

That was why Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, during the 2016 edition of his ministry’s annual crusade tagged “Restoration 2016” in Manchester, Northwest of England, explained that pastor’s trademark is to be able to teach people a new way of behaving and communicating, that it is of the first order of importance that people learn to listen to each other more objectively and to be more passionate.

Suleiman explained that a man of God who is worth his salt must be able to reduce fear in the other person by legitimizing their right to be heard, and by receiving what they say as validly being their view of things, saying that he does not give the sense of taking sides with or against any man but rather seek clarification both for himself and the other man.

LEADERSHIP Weekend decided to look into the prophecies of Apostle Suleman for Nigeria in the last four years taking note of majority of those that have come to pass. It is recalled that, back in Nigeria, Apostle Suleman’s country of origin, there was the issue of Governor Ahmed El-Rufai of Kaduna State who recently introduced a bill an ‘anti-preaching’ bill which majority of the people have viewed and termed as against Christianity.

Apostle Suleman is the first church leader in Nigeria to have stood up against the governor, and this bold step has made the issue more broad, and debatable. Meanwhile, Apostle Suleman’s ministry, Omega Fire Ministries International, has reacted to a publication by an online news portal which tagged his prophecies as fake.

According to a release from OFM, these are prophecies made by Apostle Johnson Suleman between December 2012 and 2016 that can be verified both online and in news prints, “House of Representative to lose some members to death, prayers needed. Alhaji Bamanga Tukur will be the last united PDP Chairman, as there will be great in-fighting in PDP.

“There will be major boom and breakthrough in the agriculture from this year. Nollywood will keep losing people unless prayers are made and repentance; Many have gone fetish and there is high rate of immorality. I see three major stars dying this year unless prayers are made. Emir of Kano Alhaji (Dr) Ado Bayero to pray against attempt on his life. He will lose some men. Rapists will be on the prowl. Raping women little children and even pregnant women.

“Other prophecies are, ‘Watch where your kids go. A sect deadlier than Boko -Haram is being trained and prepared. I see a Governor dying. This year, the looting of National treasury will be on a massive scale. President Goodluck Jonathan’s own men from his place will fight him. Igbos should forget about presidency. I see the crisis in PDP widening more and more.

“A yoruba movie actor to die surprisingly. A year judgment for politicians and wicked leaders. There will be scarcity of money in 2013, but food will be in abundance. Chief of Defence Staff to be retired. There is vacancy in Aso Rock. President Goodluck will lose someone precious to him either this year or next. Central Bank of Nigeria’s governor will be made an Emir, but he needs prayers.

“MTN needs prayers. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal ( Speaker) should not contest for presidency. If he goes for governorship, he will win. Dame patience Jonathan will have health issues unless prayers are made. HID Awolowo, it is well. I see Traditional Rulers die. I see a new president. Lagos will have a Christian governor. Tinubu and Fashola will fight dirty,” OFM stated.

Some of the fulfilled prophecies according to OFM are, “Musicians should pray against road accidents. President Jonathan is the last PDP President. Oba of Benin, oh we need to pray. Republic of Benin will mourn a past leader. Kidnap to be more common in the west. All service Chiefs will be fired. I see fuel scarcity. A popular king in Niger Delta will die.”

The Omega Fire Minitries International (OFM) leader also prophesied that Nigeria will not break up, but that Nigerian government will start fighting the Gospel and men of God. “APC Rivers State needs to do grass root campaign because I saw the election been rigged for PDP. Three popular musicians will die; one of them is a young boy.”

The cleric in one of his prophecies said, “I do not see some ministers in President Buhari’s Cabinet in office in 2016. I see a Governor in Nigeria dying. Apostle Suleiman who is reputed for predicting the death of Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Kogi State.

Politics / Re: Contradicting Witnesses In Synagogue Collapse Inquest by NicolasN: 9:13pm On Oct 30, 2014
What is the grouse of the media toward TBJ? The rest of the articles pertaining this issue focused on the fact that SCOAN did not have planning permission and they would arrest him if he didn't show up at the inquest next week. From the beginning of the inquest, the media has shown unequivocal bias. Perhaps to achieve the aims of Lagos State government to indict T.B. Joshua at all costs.

Religion / Why T.B. Joshua’s Church Collapse Actually Convinced Me He Is A Genuine Man Of G by NicolasN: 7:58pm On Oct 25, 2014
I know many will be surprised at this opinion but it is an honest and frank progression of thoughts from an open-minded individual, not emboldened by any personal bigotry, political agenda or religious connotation.

T.B. Joshua is a name I was distantly aware of prior to the tragic collapse of a guesthouse within his premises on September 12th 2014 that plummeted over 100 salvation-seeking individuals into a premature grave. Indeed, I don’t think there is any Nigerian who can feign ignorance of Joshua’s fame and miraculous claims.

However, by virtue of both location and vocation, there had been no specific reason for me to form any particular opinion or premonition concerning him despite the volume of vitriolic reports I believe we have all heard or read to some degree in time-past.

I certainly respected Pastor Joshua for his commendable humanitarian services, just as I do anyone who gainfully uses their resources for the benefit and benefaction of others, but my train of thoughts had not travelled toward any further conclusive trajectory.

Therefore, the tragic incident and wave of attention bestowed relentlessly on Joshua in its wake provided fodder for reflection. Although I am not a personal adherent to the rather cryptic ‘marmite philosophy’ of ‘you either love it or hate it’, T.B. Joshua’s case appears to aptly illustrate this. Just look at the vast chasm between unreasonable detestation and irrational devotion displayed by Joshua’s foes and fans alike in online commentaries and debates!

I would opt more on the side of neutrality, governed hopefully by rationality! As a Christian, brought up under a strict moral barometer, I certainly consider myself a ‘spiritual realist’. I would like to believe I am governed by the indomitable principle that forces for both good and evil exist in this world and an individual has a candid choice as to which direction he swings in and thus which influence he operates under.

Therefore, the barrage of negativity and scathing personal attacks on Joshua that spread like wildfire in the wake of the tragic incident certainly irked me. I pose a question at this point – why would a tragedy provide any logical yardstick for determining the authenticity of an individual related to it?

Let me state a few points I observed. Firstly, unreasonable assertions founded on inconclusive insinuations were published as if they were sacrosanct. For example, the statement attributed to a NEMA official who had just arrived on the scene claiming the building’s foundations were not sufficiently strengthened to withstand the additional floors being added was widely quoted and formed a core basis for criticism. However, his arrival at such conclusion without actually digging up the foundation to test its strength was neither questioned nor queried. Also, are disaster management personnel in the right position to give authoritative information on construction matters?

Numerous reports questioned the empathy and efficiency of The SCOAN’s initial response, alleging that emergency workers were refused access to the site. An article published in South Africa’s best selling newspaper theatrically titled, ‘Blood On Their Hands’, even suggested the secrecy that shrouded the incident’s aftermath resulted in a higher death toll. These reports were accentuated whereas conflicting reports detailing the efficiency of The SCOAN’s response and the ‘miracles’ behind the rescues of over 130 were significantly downplayed.

T.B. Joshua’s statement shortly after the incident noting ‘a strange plane’ that flew over the building several times, alongside the release of security footage that captured the horrific incident, was widely condemned as irresponsible, irrational and insensitive. Yet, to date, no NAMA official has made a public statement explaining the plane’s mission in Ikotun that day, if indeed nothing sinister was involved.

Emmanuel TV’s release of a video showcasing controlled demolitions and their remarkable semblance to the manner in which The SCOAN building collapsed was similarly left out of many media reports as the conclusion of structural defects had already been suitably positioned in people’s reasoning.

At this juncture, I must posit that as an individual with some knowledge in construction matters, the manner of the ‘pancake collapse’ I witnessed from The Synagogue security footage certainly doesn’t suggest structural deficiencies. Let’s hope investigators unravel the truth!

Calls for Joshua’s incarceration and prosecution were championed by even respected Nigerian scholars abroad even though the official investigation has not (as yet) declared any shred of culpability on the part of The SCOAN.

To buttress my point, take a look at a piece penned by one skeptic named Leo Igwe on Sahara Reporters. It is titled, ‘T B Joshua: The Collapse Of A Charlatan’ and basically opines that Joshua’s collapsed building signals ‘the slow and gradual crumbling of a mega charlatanic ministry being spearheaded by one of the most notorious evangelical con artists Nigeria has ever known.’

The article contains no substance or systematic thought processes whatsoever; it is simply a barrage of incensed accusations of fabrication and deception against Joshua and Christianity in general. Why was it that Igwe’s openly anti-Christian rantings were given such free advertising? Surely, the focus should have been on the wellbeing of those who lost loved ones in the tragedy (to whom I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences) and not Pastor Joshua’s spiritual legitimacy?

Similarly, a laughable report in Nigeria’s Vanguard newspaper shortly after the incident questioning Joshua’s miraculous abilities was prejudiced to the point of embarrassment. If a similar report had been filed on another subject matter, it would have been rejected for its blatant disregard for journalistic ethics and lack of credibility, yet it was not only published but disseminated on various online sites and foreign newspapers.

People repeatedly and usually sarcastically questioned on social media why Joshua had not ‘prophesied’ his own building collapse despite his famed divine insight to foresee events of international significance. The question certainly has validity but it is by no means a factor by which genuineness can be ascertained. Are we positioning Joshua on the level of our Creator by suggesting he must be ‘all-knowing’?

I ask the question here – had this tragic incident happened in the premises of a business tycoon or prominent hotelier, would the venom unleashed towards its owner have been proportionate to that leveled at T.B. Joshua?

It appears to me that people had already prepared and preloaded ‘ammunition’ against Pastor Joshua, awaiting an opportunity to unleash them in a concerted attempt at character assassination. The tragic incident simply provided the sufficient media and public attention to respectably mask motives yet spew forth venom.

In this respect, the amount of criticism leveled toward Joshua actually had an adverse affect on me. Why would people fight someone to such an extent, straining to paint him black, if he was not standing up for what is right? Why would such vehement personal attacks arise against an individual, who has not been found guilty on any counts as yet, without another sinister motive at play? What evidence is there of a man who stands for light if darkness does not attempt to snuff him out?

The more I listen to T.B. Joshua’s teachings on Emmanuel TV, watch the miraculous activities, eye-opening confessions and touching testimonies, the more I begin to understand. What happened that day was an attack, not just on T.B. Joshua or Nigeria, but on the kingdom of God.

In this matter, although it may be against popular opinion, I humbly yield to the promptings of my conscience – T.B. Joshua is a servant of the Most High.

Johnson Abayomi, a football coach of Nigerian origin, wrote this from his base in Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Johnson Abayomi, a football coach of Nigerian origin, wrote this from his base in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Religion / A Thorough Reflection On SCOAN Tragedy by NicolasN: 11:30pm On Oct 06, 2014
Having read through most propaganda of TB Joshua haters online – the allegations of the people coming out of their woodwork with nooses and stakes crying prosecute Him, prosecute Him, at the top of their voices. Here are some thoughts on this new video for anyone who cares to be objective enough.
Watching the new CCTV video from TB Joshua on the synagogue building catastrophe really puts the tragedy in perspective for those who are not already impervious to the truth. The pressure fumes emanating from the sides of the building just seconds before its eventual dissolve shows that something most certainly exploded from within the building with excessive force. The fumes literally gushed out of the sides of the building with so much pressure that confirms the preceding effect of powerful explosives. The pressure fumes gushed out with such high velocity that they overtook a man hastily fleeing away from the disaster; though the man was already at a considerable distance from the building before the incident.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAccLLUNq2s
More so, if you watch the moment of the incident closely to the right of the screen, you can observe large concrete blocks literally flung high into the air at a far distance from the building; traveling in a parabolic path whilst in projectile motion. This confirms that the concrete blocks have gained momentum from an energy source (at a point) to be able to fly so high and far away from the building at such velocity. According to newton’s law of motion: A body will remain in its state of rest or uniform motion unless it is acted upon by a force. Thus, the forceful projection of those concrete blocks totally reveals they were given an initial velocity by the violent explosions that occurred. This is in stark contrast to critic’s alleged theory of a structural defect caused collapse. The ‘defect caused collapse’ theory would have been irrevocably established if and only if those concrete blocks were falling from rest with an initial velocity of zero – as a type of free fall under gravity.
Even If one were to be super-humanly gracious to these critics, by assuming the worst case scenario that the foundation structure of that building was weak, the truth resurfaces again that it had for long previously supported the building and hence was in some measure solid. Therefore, if their assumptions were in the least correct of it being a collapse due to structural defects, we should have witnessed the exact point where the dead and live weight of the building overwhelmed its allegedly ‘inadequate’ support. This would have been made known by cracks and fissures in the building walls and pillars. Hence, practically speaking, the building would not have collapsed entirely in just four seconds. If critic’s assumption were in the least correct, then, while the tragedy happened, the expected resistance of the allegedly inadequate support would also have been noticed according to newton’s third law which states that to every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. But there was nothing of this but the rapid dissolution of a six storey building in four seconds to an unrecognizable rubble.
In conformity with the above: a building and constructions expert who also attests to have watched several buildings being demolished during the Gautrain, reveals that a building that falls by itself due to a ‘structural defect’ will NOT:
1. Fall down COMPLETELY FLAT; some walls will remain standing.
2. Will NOT fall down INWARDLY; some will fall to the sides.
3. Will NOT fall down at the SPEED this one fell, which was about four seconds.
4. It should start showing CRACKS and FOREWARN that it is about to fall.
Someone on seeing this collapse said it collapsed like sugar crumbling. A South African survivor by name Van Der Byl who lost his wife in the tragedy insists that TB Joshua should not be blamed for the incident. His narration of the events leading to the incident gives further confirmations of the above points. The points gleaned from his statements can be summarized thus:
1. He stated that there was NO WARNING SIGN that such a thing would happen.
2. He affirmed that NONE of the PILLARS had broken off.
3. He stated that The building did not TILT to any SIDE
4. As they were in the dining room on the GROUND FLOOR, he just noticed that the opposite side BROKE OUT.
5. In THREE SECONDS; the whole building crashed on top of them.
6. HE classified the materials being used in the building at TOP QUALITY, including the steel.
Another survivor of the incident khathuathelo Ramovha speaking to the BBC expressed how He heard a very small sound shiiiiii….shiiiiii….shiiiiii – something like a wired bomb that had to run that wire before it could reach were the bomb is – rrrrrrrrrrrr…….grrrrrrrrrrrr so quick and wha… the building came down…..”
From about 00:34 of the video below:
ww.youtube.com/watch?v=58G97mdQAvU
It is very sad that people are feigning blindness to something as glaring as the truth that this is a premeditated and concerted attack on the SCOAN. How can anyone be so blind not to see that the dissolution of a large six storey building to a pile of rubble in just four seconds is not normal? Unfortunately, there as so many of such people, than those who have eyes and can see with them. Even If many people are so blind to these facts, we are glad not the leaders, especially the president of South Africa who is quoted to have said:
“…TB Joshua should be spared criticism for the collapse of a church building which resulted in the deaths of at least 84 South Africans…”The outpouring of criticism is unwarranted and calls for the Public Protector to be deployed to Nigeria are a gross over reaction,” the president said.
With this comment he seems to believe that the building was attacked, but this statement is a safe way of expressing what he believes while simultaneously not appearing to be subservient to TB Joshua’s stand on the issue. Nigeria, your hypocrisy stinks in every corner and alleyway, the manner in which you cry more than the bereaved.

Sports / Ridiculous! Will You Call Him A Man Of God? by NicolasN: 7:50pm On Sep 08, 2014
This was what I found on Saturday before the match. I have tried to contain it but can't just wait to pass it round so that we all learn.

By Ajibola Abayomi
As the crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) persists, the Spiritual Leader of INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, Primate Ayodele Babatunde Elijah, has urged the warring factions to seek the face of God to avoid strange death.

The revered seer also called for prayer against similar incident among the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force.

During an exclusive interview with Saturday Independent he warned: "I hope those fighting one another in the football house will be careful because I foresee strange occurrences that may lead to the death of some soccer stakeholders. We predicted the emergence of Christopher Giwa as NFF boss but he needs to be prayerful so as not to be dumped at the middle of the road, but if he is ready to seek God, he will survive the present storm and many will be surprised. Super Eagles will qualify for Nations Cup. If the players work hard, Congo will be defeated 3-0 on Saturday."

"Senior police officers must watch their steps. I mean some Assistant Inspectors General, Deputy Inspectors General and commissioners of police, so that we won't lose any of them in a controversial circumstance. The Inspector General of Police should pray against what may shorten his tenure. Nigerians should support police with prayers because we need them. Let us pray against serious mutiny in the military."

The prophet also predicted that the leader of Boko Haram, Abubarka Shekau, would eventually be overpowered by the security operatives, saying: "I could see him being held captive in about two and half years from now. But I see him being killed during a gun dwell. Mark my words, Boko Haram crisis may span a decade from now and more deadly attacks are still going to be carried out by the group especially in Abuja and some Northern states. That is why we need prayers. The group will attempt to islamise the country and capture some areas apart from Gwazo in Borno State. But if we pray, God will not only disgrace them, their sponsors will also be exposed.

"The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) executives will soon be queried. People like Tunde Lemoh should pray against scandal too. Efforts of the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Okonjo Iweala, to reposition the economy will fail except divine instructions are followed.

"President Goodluck Jonathan will win the next election but he and his wife should pray against health challenges. Mr. President should also rebuke opposition against his government from international community. I foresee a coup in an Africa country soon. Let the Kenyans pray against severe bloodletting in their country and Ghanaian President should appease God so that oppositions will not trouble his government.

"The Iyaloja of Nigeria should pray against scandal; Senator Musiliu Obanikoro should not waste his money seeking governorship ticket of Lagos PDP, otherwise he will be deceived. There will be serious attempt to withdraw the electoral victory of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, but because he has honoured God, the attempt will fail. Governor Sule Lamido should not waste his money on presidential ambition because he won't succeed.

"The Acting Governor of Taraba State will run into crisis in his attempt to become governor in 2015, except he seeks God. Some political bigwigs will decamp from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC) in the north. But the opposition party should not rejoice because many of its chieftains will also cross over to PDP. Attempt by Malam Nuhu Ribadu to become Adamawa State governor will continue to be frustrated within PDP if he fails to prayer."

"He will make it in future if he subjects himself to God's wisdom," the prophet said.

Politics / Nigeria Wants America, Spain Put On List Of Ebola-hit Countries by NicolasN: 4:38pm On Aug 28, 2014
Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, on Wednesday accused the foreign media of exaggerating cases of Ebola outbreak in Nigeria while leaving Spain and America out of a list of Ebola-hit countries.
Speaking after the Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting, Mr. Chukwu said it is wrong for the foreign media to lump Nigeria with the three other countries –Guniea, Sierra-Leone and Liberia — worst hit by the
Ebola disease.
Mr. Chukwu said foreign media houses are playing games with their reports on the Ebola Virus in Nigeria.
“The foreign media are playing games with the world with the reportage of the Ebola virus. Out of the over 1,000 cases that died only five is in Nigeria, but they lump us together with Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia with higher cases because we are all in West Africa,” Mr. Chukwu lamented.
As at August 22, the World Health Organization reported that the four West African countries including Nigeria recorded 1, 528 cases of Ebola and 844 fatalities.
Of the over 1, 000 confirmed Ebola cases in West African region, Nigeria recorded 13 confirmed cases, out of which five people died, seven were discharged and one is still receiving treatment at the Ebola
Emergency Treatment Centre in Lagos.
In Sierra Leone, there have 804 confirmed cases and 353 deaths; Guinea has, 443 confirmed cases and 264 deaths; Liberia has had 269 confirmed cases and 222 deaths.
The minister also said the foreign media based their reportage of the outbreak of the disease in West Africa on Nigeria’s minute cases.
American based news outfit, CNN, had on its August 15 Ebola reportage, itemised Nigeria first on the list of countries with Ebola.
“Ebola has infected at least 2,127 people in Nigeria, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone since the outbreak began this year,” CNN reported.
Mr. Chukwu, feeling dispirited about the mode of reportage considering the lower number odf cases recorded in Nigeria, said countries like the United States of America and Spain who have citizens infected with the virus, needed to be put on the list of Ebola –hit countries.
“When they want to report on the Ebola virus they start with Nigeria first. Why are they not including Spain and the United States that has two cases too?.” Mr. Chukwu said.
Nigeria was Ebola free until the Liberian-America, Patrick Sawyer, brought it into the country.

Religion / Prayers Don’t Work Because People ‘enjoy’ Being Sick - Pat Robertson by NicolasN: 10:01am On Aug 20, 2014
Christian love – blaming the victim: Televangelist Pat Robertson explains why healing prayers don’t work by claiming some people secretly “enjoy their sickness,” and do not want to be cured.
The deranged and demented televangelist went on a particularly offensive rant on his popular and long running television program The 700 Club this morning. Right Wing Watch reports Robertson fielded a question from a viewer who wondered why her husband hasn’t been healed from a medical condition despite intense prayer.
A viewer identified as Hannah wrote the following:
My husband and I have been praying for a healing miracle for his body for over four years. Other people we know have received a healing or miracle, but every time we pray for his healing, he seems to be getting worse.
The doctors don’t know what is wrong, and every time we get a different diagnosis. So my question is this: Does God choose only certain people to heal? And, if not, why hasn’t my husband received his healing yet?
Robertson responded that the woman’s husband probably isn’t a faithful Christian and may actually want to be sick:
“There are some people, you know, they enjoy their sickness. That is terrible to say but that is their excuse not to compete, ‘well I’d love to compete but my lumbago’s got me so I can’t do it.”
Terminal cancer – a secret pleasure?
There is something ugly about suggesting that someone “enjoys” being sick. The fact that Robertson blames the victim in his feeble minded attempt to explain why pleadings to an imaginary being go unanswered is simply reprehensible.
And while atheists, agnostics, and other freethinkers can laugh at Robertson’s pathetic attempt to preserve the cruel deception that prayers can heal, too many Christians will believe Robertson’s nonsense, with tragic consequence.
Those suffering illness will blame themselves. And those close to those suffering now have permission to blame the patient for being sick, believing, as Robertson suggests, that the patient is either secretly enjoying being ill, or is simply not Christian enough to enjoy an imaginary God’s favor.

Religion / TB Joshua: Testmony From Naike Moshi From Tanzania by NicolasN: 12:20pm On Aug 16, 2013
Dear Rulea,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Naike Moshi. I have been a fan of Emmanuel TV. Through TB Joshua, I have seen many miracles and people being healed and delivered. I realised I was also part of the devil works. Everything I do, there is no progress. I had a spirit of limitation, stagnation, anger and even a spiritual husband as my marriage has no peace. One day I knew that God will deliver me. So I started going to different pastors but still I felt there is something that was not right. By watching Emmanuel TV, My faith has gone up and I am now a prayer warrior and continue to do fasting

On August 9, 2013 second day of Eid, a miracle happened. I was watching Emmaneul TV, TB Joshua said, People all over the world, where can you go from presence, Distance is not a barrier. Touch your screen. I closed my eyes and touched the screen with my two hands. As soon as I did that, TB Joshua started praying that I see breakthrough in your business, in your career, in your marital life, career. I felt down coz God of TB Joshua touched me. It was so powerful. The deliverance did not end there, for the entire night I was having diarrhea and vomiting.

I believe I was delivered that day and so was my family. I was free. I believe more breakthroughs will happen and I will come again to give more testimonials. PRAISE THE LORD.
My advice to people is to believe in the living God and distance is not a barrier. Believing is your connection.
I know for sure, as soon as I get funds. I will go to SCOAN Nigeria and meet TB Joshua and give my testimonials.

Rulea, I want us to meet one day. We have more things to talk about.

Politics / President Goodluck Jonathan: I Pay Pastor Adeboye's Salary by NicolasN: 4:30pm On Aug 07, 2013
“It is only God that can help me to change things. Pray for me now that I am the sitting president of your country. Pray for me not to deviate from the fear of God,”.
These were the words of the president, Jonathan Goodluck when he besieged the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway Church of the respected man of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye for special prayers.
There is no doubt that many believe that what transpired between the clergy man and the number one citizen of Nigeria definitely transcends prayer alone as we learnt they have a solid relationship that cannot shake.
A reason given on why Pastor Enoch Adeboye of Redeemed Christian Church of God has always be in support of President Goodluck Jonathan or has the habit of keeping mute on any national issue that concerns President Jonathan.
Sources close to the church have revealed to us that the relationship between Adeboye and Jonathan is more like a father and a very loved son; so it’s difficult to see wrongs in a favoured son, said our source.
The very popular Pastor whose influence cuts across all boards of government especially in the southwest and beyond has over the years enjoyed good patronage from both state and federal governments using him to score political points in the process and win the support of his thousands of members scattered all over the country. The story reaching us has it that, Pastor Adeboye has been made an unofficial spiritual leader of Nigeria from the Southwest and as such he has been placed on regular income. Though some may argue that the man of God is not a direct beneficiary of such fund but the fact still remains that it was actually because of the soft spoken pastor that such funds are made available. Another source in the church informed us that even if such should come from the presidency, it must be for the service of the church and not for the highly revered Adeboye.
Be it as it may, we gathered further that the regular income episode, we learnt was facilitated by a top Special Adviser to the President from the southwest who is also a member of the church . Though the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which is the body that represents interest of Christians in the country also gets support for the organization from the government but Pastor Adeboye’s income was according to information a special packaged that the federal government gives to some spiritual leaders perceived to be supporting them.
We gathered this money has been made regular since President Goodluck assumed office.
Meanwhile, it is also learnt that Pastor Adeboye pays all the pastors in the Redeemed fold. Our source who is also a worker in the vineyard of God told us that the pastor is a respecter of the labour law that stipulates 18,000 naira as minimum wage for workers. The man of God has pegged his pastor’s monthly salary to be N70, 000. Every other month Pastor Adeboye pays out millions of naira as salaries to the pastors of Redeemed Church that has its tentacles spread all over the world.

Religion / President Goodluck Jonathan: I Pay Pastor Adeboye's Salary by NicolasN: 3:55pm On Aug 07, 2013
Religion / Ethiopian Woman Freed From 16 Year Addiction - TB Joshua by NicolasN: 2:44pm On Jul 04, 2013
http://vimeo.com/69652175# Addiction : persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful. This definition may mean little to some but for others it describes a lifestyle that they want to either change or have learned to accept. Addictions are just another way for the enemy to gain control over our lives by making us slaves to things that may seem harmless. Did you know that according to the ALA (American Lung Association) “Cigarette smoke contains over 4,800 chemicals, 69 of which are known to cause cancer. Smoking is directly responsible for approximately 90 percent of lung cancer deaths and approximately 80-90 percent of COPD (emphysema and chronic bronchitis) deaths.” With these numbers you would assume everyone would want to stop but the enemies grasp on their lives are so strong that wanting to quit is just not enough. That’s why when things began to be too much Ifrah Abraham sought a source she knew could deliver her from her addiction.
Ifrah abraham is originally from Ethiopia but now resides in Vancouver Canada. For 16 years she was addicted to smoking and she testifies that the addiction wasn’t the only thing that came with it. She had to also deal with smelly hands and hair, bad breath, and brown teeth. However in January of this year she decided to stop and went running to God for help. Since she didn’t know how to pray she googled “prayer” and came upon Emmanuel TV where she began to pray with Prophet T.B Joshua. After two weeks she lost all cravings for cigarettes and can’t stand the smell! 5 months later she is still free from the addiction that the enemy used to cling himself to her.
Glory be to God! His healing power is enough to save, deliver and bless all who seek a solution within his refuge. All it takes is coming to Him with your problem. As it says in Isaiah 59:1 “Surely His arm is not too short to save nor his ear to dull to hear.” So what are you waiting for? Your salvation, your deliverance, your healing is just a prayer away. Have faith in knowing that if God can heal Ifrah from 16 years of smoking, that He wants to heal you also! God has broken the chains, now it’s time to walk in your freedom.

Religion / Could Prayers Forestall Another Meltdown? TB Joshua by NicolasN: 8:05pm On Jun 28, 2013
ON JUNE 9, 2013 Nigerian preacher and faith healer TB Joshua of SCOAN Church prophesied that the world will be experiencing another great financial meltdown.
In his sermon he mentioned that the crisis will affect a number of companies.
He also said that the financial meltdown will be so heavy that companies that were netting as much as profiting US$500 million will be making less than US$500,000 annually.
He also mentioned that there will be massive job losses around the world and that only a few companies will survive.
This is the second time the Nigerian prophet has prophesied on a financial meltdown. Before the 2009 – 2010 financial meltdowns he prophesied that the world would experience these crises. And the world experienced the financial meltdown.
TB Joshua is on record as having made a number of prophecies that had come to pass. So it is anticipated that this prophecy could be fulfilled.
His pronouncements remind me of the ongoing cyber crimes. The rampart spread of this new crimes is worrisome. Aljazeera TV network reported that cyber crime has been ranked number one by Interpol on its financial crime index.
Back home, the Zambia Police Service reported that US$4 million has been stolen from different commercial banks’ automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawals through a scam involving three foreign criminals who had recruited and trained Zambians in cyber crime.
The Los Angeles Times reported that worldwide a gang of criminals stole a total of US$45 million in a matter of hours by hacking their way into a database of prepaid debit cards and then draining cash machines around the globe.
The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) on May 20, 2013 announced the unsealing of indictments against three individuals who played critical roles in creating and distributing the Gozi virus, one of the most financially destructive computer viruses in history. The Gozi virus infected over one million computers globally and caused tens of millions of dollars in losses.
Nikita Kuzmin, the Russian who created the Gozi virus, was arrested in the US in November 2010 and pleaded guilty before district judge Leonard B Sand to various computer intrusion and fraud charges in May 2011.
Deniss Calovskis, a Latvian national who wrote the computer code that made the Gozi virus effective, was arrested in Latvia in November 2012.
Mihai Ionut Paunescu, a Romanian national who allegedly ran a ‘bulletproof hosting’ service that enabled cyber criminals to distribute the Gozi virus, the Zeus Trojan and other notorious malware and to conduct other sophisticated cyber crimes, was arrested in Romania in December 2012.
While the internet has revolutionised business and communication almost overnight, laws regulating its use and misuse haven’t developed as swiftly.
Cyber crime has been increasing at the same pace of development in information and communication technology.
But who is the cause and inventor of cyber crime? Should we accuse the innovators of IT packages as prime suspects?
Or should we treat cyber crimes as the story of the computer virus, where the innovators created the computer and later created viruses in order to create a multibillion business.
Or should we look at it as another world business where thieves have teamed up with business leaders to siphon money from the poor?
Maybe we should say these are works of the business mafia or baboons?
In conclusion, as TB Joshua said, it is time for Christians and children of God to pray for the world.
It is only the prayers of the children of God that would save the world from collapsing. Therefore, Christians should unite in prayer and ask God for mercy and protection.

Did you see this
Attention! This is an official message from The SCOAN. There are rumors spreading on the internet at http://www./forum/showthread.php? t_id=72046&page=1 that Prophet T.B. Joshua had prophesied about a football match. These claims are false and are not from Prophet T.B. Joshua or The SCOAN. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, has stated that he has officially stopped releasing football prophecies. Don’t listen to the father of lies, the sons of lies and the daughters of lies.

Religion / Oscar Pistorius-pope’s Resignation - TB Joshua's Message by NicolasN: 2:03pm On Feb 27, 2013
You may not have known that there has been a prediction from a reputable man of God in Nigeria about the happenings around the world today.
Take a look at the article below. – Take note of the word FAMOUS,POPULAR AND RICH MEN
Prophecies For Individuals In 2013 – Prophet T.B. Joshua

“Let me give you six out of many.

The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.

1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.

2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed.

3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful - your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.

4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea/flood/air disasters, fire, etc. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.

5. Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.

6. Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.

7. Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).

Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.

Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it. My name is T.B. Joshua”.
