And why the antagonism over jiggaz's post? He used his own freedom of speech isnt it?

he has his freedom of speech over the topic. . . .he dont have the right to have a go at someone who didnt even say one word to him. . . .we all here to talk about the topic innit?? lets leave it at that. . . .if you are goin to object someones opinion, do it sensibly. . . . .not insulting the person. . . . before you know it, they are both involved in war of words. . . . that why am here . . . . stop sturvs like this from happening. , .

You are getting it all wrong dear! He started the thread for reasons best known to him and IMO should defend those girls with tooth and nail when stupid posters like Ladycool comes in with "Crap Crap Crap" and "Rubbish" bad belle.

Probably Ladycool doesn't understand igbo langauge but she labelled the music crap and rubbish because of her inborn hatred for good things.
Re: The Desperate Chicks- Naija's Destiny's Child? by rapjunkie(m): 7:08pm On May 01, 2009
i have listened to these girls and they are good. IMO! If ladykool thinks they r rubbish, then thats her opinion. It says more about ladykool than it does about desperate chicks. I shudder to think what she considers good.

Can somebody pls tell me the name of the naija girl group that is better than them?

Re: The Desperate Chicks- Naija's Destiny's Child? by ghettochyk(f): 6:05pm On May 02, 2009
They don't sound too bad, nothing new tho, I still here da "yaardie girls" wanna be tune. It aint bad, I'm sure some folks will like more than others.
I just really think jamaican music sounds better when Jamaicans do it. And Naija music sounds best when naija's do it.
I'll give them their props for coming out cus i don't know of any nigerian gurl group.

And they need to change their name quick before their name makes it outta Enugu state.
Desperate Chicks. . . .? wow. so what are they so desperate for. . . . attention? money? new weave? stardom? men? dunno  But dat kinda name is susceptible insults and jokes. . . kinda like fat jokes. lol

And gosh, everyone wearing sunshades on da album cover? That's so CHEESY!! "Desperately" and obviously saying "look, we're fresh and cool!"

This is another reason I'm hardly here anymore. I just visited this site today cus I ran across a Nigerian music on youtube I heard in 9Ja in 07 and wanted to see what's new in 9Ja music.
I don't know what's wrong with a lot of folks in this forum, they get mad when others state their opinion or criticize something. It's a free board hun!!
Too bad some people like "LadyKool" now feels she has to explain herself for not liking "Desperate Chicks" WTF?!
Romeo, if she doesn't like it then she doesn't. That's not your problem and if you really REALLY don't like it, then go find her and beat her up!! that outta teach her!!! tongue

I'll bet someone's gonna try 2 attack my opinion. go right ahead. You'll prolly not get a response from me cus I don't give a rats ass and will be too busy to get tough on da keyboard with somebody I'm not even sure if they took a bath this morning   smiley

Addicted to "Mu Na Gi", (despite not knowing what it means).
Re: The Desperate Chicks- Naija's Destiny's Child? by jiggaz(m): 5:33pm On May 07, 2009
@topup,MU NA GI means ME AND YOU. the chorus where they say NWANNE AGBANA OSO means BROTHER PLEASE DONT RUN. Enjoy.

their name sucks. and the songs are just "aight", nothing new or special!

I'll probably dance 2 them anyway, when I can blame it on the alcohol!
