It shows that there are still some sensible muslims out there. But how many are they compared to the trouble makers? I think they move should be copied by other northern states and not just kano for us to know they are serious towards peace.

Thank God we still have muslims like you guys. Where are the imams though? Are they not the ones to be leading this type of delegations as a sign of love, peace and unity. May God bless you and your team.
Re: Nigerian Muslims Visit Churches In Kano Today In Show Of Solidarity! by nanidee(f): 3:56pm On Jan 15, 2012
What is so good about the move Why should they even be allowed into the church? smh angry angry

Whatever they had to say could have as well waited till the end of the service, where they ought to have met with the Christians 'oustide', and not coming in to disrupt the service. What is all that crap they are acting out?

How many Christians would be allowed into a mosque (when they believe every other person is an infidel) Pffff!!

Oh puh-lease, let them gather their extremist leaders and come together to condem the attacks on innocent Christians, not all this charade being put up.
Re: Nigerian Muslims Visit Churches In Kano Today In Show Of Solidarity! by hbabe(f): 3:59pm On Jan 15, 2012
Visiting churches it fine BUT not good enough. They should speak to those killing christians and make them to stop their wickedness.
Re: Nigerian Muslims Visit Churches In Kano Today In Show Of Solidarity! by kuluTemper: 3:59pm On Jan 15, 2012
Funny pictures, a poor attempt at propaganda. I could not see a single muslim cleric in the picture. Not one with there turbarn. Let the renowned muslim cleric go and do this not state officials paid to be muslims.

Having spent tangible time in Kano. I attend that Anglican church sometimes.

Kano is the most important state in the North and home to many Northern Heavy weights. The Emir of Kano - Ado Bayero- is a very good man). If BH ventures  there and not defeated by good intentioned Kano natives, then you can kiss the North and possibly Nigeria a very Goodbye.

Kano has a very strong christian and southern community. In fact, you can live all your life in kano in these enclaves without understanding the Hausa language.

I hope other northern states learn from this OR,

OK, I've had it! What the hell is wrong with some of you idiots here that claim to be Christians?! Rather than commend the initiative of our Muslim brothers, you're here spewing rubbish on this thread! A major part of the Muslim community, if not the entire community, have been very vocal in condemning the actions against Christians, yet it's still not enough for you idiots. with the way you people things, you are no better than the Muslim fanatics that kill the innocent. GROW UP, YOU DOUCHE BAGS!

To my Muslim brothers and sisters, thank you for coming up with such a wonderful initiative. With moves like this, there's definitely hope for Nigeria. Kudos.

No matter the number of times they come to our place of worship, it will not stop us from being vigilant, because we all know they dont want our existence as christians.

Re: Nigerian Muslims Visit Churches In Kano Today In Show Of Solidarity! by guonno: 4:25pm On Jan 15, 2012
They might fool some ethnic groups but not the igbos whom has chosen to follow-follow christ till the end of time. We igbos reject that stupid and forced visit because we know that u have other plans for us because we igbos are stoping u from achieving ur islamic nigeria dreams. Let me use this medium to warn the abia state people that are giving large lands to hausa/fulani for mosque that a day will come and hausa/fulani would start claiming local govnment chairmanship right like those that  are destroying jos today, just because they were giving a peace of land to settle.
