I said it earlier that PDP counsel are somehow dum** they ought to av wait for the conclusion of the Congress even wait after 2023 election and drag them to supreme Court. They might win back the presidential election by technical means but sadly APC might make an amendment now if those greedy Governors bring down their ego together with Malami that's even unfit to be a charge and bail lawyer that was saying trash yesterday.

They don't control when SC make judgements esp in election cases.

Justice Agim said they don't include the name of the chairman that occupy the two executive position in their case so it's not known to the court that was why they dismissed the case.

APC will experience internal implosion just like what happened to PDP

PDP came through the tribunal without which they had no locus.

That is the only way PDP could have challenged this case.

Election cases are time-sensitive, the SC has a maximum 60 days from the Appeal Court Judgement.

A governor holding chairmanship position is not an internal party affair. As Banire pointed out, the notification to INEC for the congresses will be signed by Buni. That in itself is an illegality based on section 183 which will render the congresses null and void as INEC needs to be duly notified before congresses can hold.

The entire caretaker committee should be disbanded immediately and the recently conducted ward congresses canceled. There is no point progressing in error when there is still enough time to do the right thing. Malami and his sidekick Buni should stop the grandstanding and err on the side of caution in the overall interest of the party.

The real elephant in the room is the president who believes the party is more popular in the north than south and thus the north should determine the direction the party should take not the south. You're still missing the point. What is being debated is whether a governor can also function as the chairman of a political party not the internal affairs or congresses of APC. PDP has locus standi. It is a constitutional matter.

Once PDP chooses a northern presidential candidate, APC dies, because nearly all northern politicians, including President Buhari, shall rally round the PDP Presidential candidate, even if the northern presidential candidate of PDP is an Almajiri.

Jurisdiction is the lifeblood or existence of any case.

Only APC members can file this case in Court, and no APC member can even do that now because it is already Statute-barred.

The only way PDP can come against the NWC or the National Chairman of another party is through the tribunal only because it is a Constitutional matter.

PDP cannot do anything, unless they sponsor APC members to do so which they even can't rn because of the time.


The former APC Vice Chairman (South), Hillard Eta took the matter to Court and his attorney was Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN (the same attorney Jegede used), the Court struck it out because it has become statute-barred.

Eta has now been expelled from the Party. Buni became Chairman in June 2020 and Eta challenged it in Oct/Nov same year.
