Good list. Kind of surprised you omitted Onuachu. For all his flaws Onuachu is a proven goal scorer every squad needs such people. Omeruo too is an unnecessary addition. If it's experience we already have that in Ekong and Balogun. The Kenneth I've seen in a few of our last friendly matches doesn't bring anything new again to the team IMHO. Yes he's decent but I would rather give younger upcoming CBs like Awaziem and Akpoguma a chance to stake their claim. If Musa regains his form in Turkey I would include him as well. charlesemeka85: 3 Likes |

Just imagine wage bill for one club alone, I know say EPL clubs da mumu, but their mumu no reach this extent (except Man U and Man City) Even if you collect players 70% image rights, churning out this kind of wage bill that club fit run at losses oooo. You accumulate this kind of wage bill and you have nothing to show for it

SCORENigeria can exclusively report that Golden Eaglets striker Class of 2021 Ahmed Abdullahi has undergone trials at French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille and he is now headed to do same at Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. The highly-rated centre-forward trained with Marseille for about a week. The Nasarawa-born Abdullahi rose to become the Eaglets first-choice striker before the 2021 U17 AFCON in Morocco was cancelled. He is big, direct-playing top striker, who scores goals and can cope with the physical demands of the game. He has already attracted an offer from Dutch giants Feyenoord and was on the radar of Italian clubs AC Milan and Lazio. However, Abdullahi cannot sign a pro contract yet as he only turned 17 on June 19. |

Serie A big boys Atalanta shun Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, turn attentions to 25-year-old Super Eagles star The Italian outfit have been priced out of a deal for the Chelsea forward and have now prioritised the signing of one of the key players of the Nigerian national team Atalanta Bergamasco Calcio have made inquiries from Everton on the availability of Super Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi. The Black and Blues have been locked in negotiations with Chelsea for English-born striker of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham. But the Italian side could not reach a financial agreement with the European champions and have now turned their attentions to Nigerian international midfielder Iwobi, according to a Tuttomercatoweb report. Iwobi is a seasoned Premier League performer who came through the ranks at London giants Arsenal, staying more than a decade with the Gunners before joining Everton for over €30 million in 2019. The 25-year-old playmaker has scored 13 goals and provided 21 assists across 155 EPL matches for the Gunners and the Toffees. Iwobi is yet to rediscover his best form for Everton, though, and a chance to feature for one of Serie A’s most exciting sides could lure the Super Eagles star to switch England for Italy. Atalanta boast the Italian top-flight’s best attack last term after scoring 90 goals which helped them finish third behind champions Inter Milan and AC Milan and above fourth-place Juventus. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men are in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. However, signing Iwobi would not be a straightforward affair for Atalanta as the Nigerian midfielder must be willing to take a pay cut from his €3 million salary to make the deal feasible. Iwobi’s contract with Everton will not expire until the summer of 2024. https://soccernet.ng/2021/08/serie-a-big-boys-atalanta-shun-chelseas-tammy-abraham-turn-attentions-to-25-year-old-super-eagles-star.html 2 Likes |

Just my own hallucinations. Will PSG move for Ndidi? Now that Messi has joined PSG, we all know that the PSG front three for all their attacking prowess are a defensive liability as the primadonnas won't track back. So in my own estimation that means PSG needs solid defensive midfielders and full backs to cover for the Achilles heel of the front three. Wijnaldum, Gueye and maybe Wilfred Ndidi could be the final piece to unlock the Champion's League puzzle for PSG. 2 Likes |

kentebemoney: Then he will be a very bad CM because his defensive inputs is lacking. It is obvious that he is lazy off the ball and comes alive when his team is attacking and holding possession. Playing him as a CM is same as playing IWOBI as a CM meaning much of the job will be left to Ndidi to manage and if we are playing a defensive approach that is suicidal. I will prefer Alhassan or Aribo when we talk of CM but for AM nwakali and Iwobi is fine |

humility33:He does not have to have a ndidi defensive attribute, he is ok but can get better. Remember he plays as CM in a two man midfield for alcorcon with ok defensive returns, if he were that poor defensively alcorcon for relegate last season. You need to watch his games (full match) and see for ur self. His deep play making is what we need, ndidi will fill in the gap. |

Nigeria forward Terem Moffi has been named among five African players to follow in the French League this season, Completesports.com reports. The list was compiled by French online news outlet Lemonde. “In October 2020, the arrival in Ligue 1 of the Nigerian strikerTerem Moffi, 22, had gone almost unnoticed despite the large sum (8 million euros) paid by FC Lorient,” Lemonde wrote on their website. Read Also: Rangers Submit Bid For Osayi-Samuel “Recruited in Kortrijk (Belgium) after a little more than two seasons in the anonymity of the Lithuanian championship, Terem Moffi was able to find the arguments to make himself known. The Breton club, which fought to the end to keep its place in Ligue 1, knows what it owes to its player, author of fifteen goals – some of which were decisive – against PSG and Bordeaux. Its market value is now over 10 million euros, but Lorient does not intend to part with one of the revelations of last season. “His performances also opened the doors of the Nigerian selection in June, against Cameroon in friendly matches (0-1, 0-0).” |

kentebemoney:other footballing nations dey hype young talents in decent leagues and clubs buh for the past 4 abi 5 yrs we re still hyping a player who is yet to do anything tangible since leaving the shores of africa We don dey expect big things from him sotey the likes of aribo, onyeka, Alhassan etc emerged frm nowhere while others like nwadike, oyewole, Ugochukwu n few others re showing signs of becoming the next big thing in 9ja football Na so we go still dey expect and hype him the above mentioned players go retire Mk una leave am to cement a place in huesca's first team this coming season first 3 Likes |

humility33:that is one thing many here don't see in nwakali's game Superb player with finesse, good passing range and deadly on dead balls I must confess but very clumsy off the ball and looks weak as well when going for tackles Coaches of this generation love hardworkers most especially in the CM position where they help the CDM in covering ground when the team is not in possession as well as pushing the team forward when they hv the ball. The Nwakali I know doesn't have such agility and pace and this is the main reason why alot of clubs passed him on after spending time with them on loan No sane coach will deploy the trio of ndidi(CDM), nwakali(CM) and iwobi(AM) in his team to start a game unless he wants to kill ndidi with stress before his time 1 Like 1 Share |

Eizzy003: You dont know the logic This is a star studded team compared to EPL clubs You want to have all this player in a single team and expect them to earn 100k for the wage bill to be on a low side Angel di maria was even earning more than this at united Donaruma was a free agent for everyteam but everybody dey run because of his salary demands If you want to have a star studded team be ready to face the wage bill as there is no short cut Dont come and paint others epl teams as saint here because if they are as rich as mancity and united they will be worst Baba na play you dey 1 Like 1 Share |
