Don't be silly...there's alot of em in Naija...most religious ones are our parents and grand parents....the teens and youths now have gone totally wild.
[/s] Oga, it's too early for factless talk. Just go outside now and pass 20 people on the street and ask them their religious inclinations. You'll heard the truth .

I'm a Christian but I have to agree with you to some level,at least they don't kill in the name of religion, they pose no threat to anyone's life or way of life,so I won't judge them either.

Hunger is causing it. When you are hungry and frustrated you become angry at everyone and everything. You curse your parents , you curse your debtors and those who you are owing money too. You curse your lineage and country and finally your curse your creator and suddenly stop believing in anything due to a rumbling empty stomach grin

All these so called atheists in Nigeria are hungry ,broke people who have tried to borrow money from everywhere no one helped them. They prayed countless times for help and none came,They converted from Christianity to Islam and back n forth looking for money to rent a one room to sleep in.

Finally one guy is claims to be an atheist gave them 2k to eat which looks like 1 billion to them and immediately they join and start ranting that do called Christians and Muslims and evil ... All because of 2k shocked
Not so.
A lot of them made it in life without the help of any God, so why would they worship any?
Others saw how religious people are suffering and concluded there is no reason to be religious.

Foolishness in the land, it's a sad reality when these atheists claim to be smarter and wiser by believing that there's no God by using science as an excuse or evidence, not knowing science can't disprove God either, the thought of using physical phenomena to try an explain a possible metaphysical being believed to have universal sovereignity isn't it stupidity in itself.Isn't it the greatest scientists such as Einstein that believed in God, Newton who did so too, same man who discovered gravity O! He has a book on Christ, search his books on Google and it's there. Read about Emanuel Swedenborg one of the greatest scientists of the 18th century with too many discoveries and excellence start writing About Jesus and his visions for no financial or fame gain at all, Read the shock on Queen of Sweden's face when he told her something no other man alive would know from her dead brother and atheist professionals there to all attempts failed to think of anyway how? How he predicted his own date of death to a man he messaged just because the man was interested in him? No it's scientific intuition, Ode

Einstein wasn't even atheist, he was agnostic. that's worse way worse

You're confusing NON-CHURCH goers with atheist... Put them in a car that is about to have accident and see how they will shout JESUS more than you! Nigeria in particular is more religious than Israel. Wake up, op.

This your reasoning is iffy too.
Moat atheists are educated. Most educated people are on the internet

The internet is not a reliable measure of statistics.

Let's get a proper census done with religion and non religion questions, like the UK does, then we can talk.

The stat says there are 62 million Christians..I don't think up to 60 million Nigerians as a whole have access to the internet and I doubt that anyone was asked to take part in a poll.

Internet polls are not reliable. Estimates too aren't that reliable

Let's get a proper census done or at least a nationwide survey focusing on religious belief

Hehehe! The people you're thinking are atheists will shout Jesus more than you if they're in a car that's about to crash... There's nothing like that in Nigeria! I had a friend who stopped believing in the existence of God because his father died and he dropped out of school. But one day, a sickness was about to take his life and it was in church that he got his healing after hospital failed him. If he was truly a geniune atheist, he wouldn't have gone to any church but rather die in the sickness but today he's a pastor. This country is filled with fake atheists. Trust me, they're all christians!

The main reason why atheism is fast growing is because people want to live their promiscuous and sinful lives guilt free. The concept of God and sin bothers their sinful hearts. Rather than submit to God and receive His salvation, they submit to their lusts. I don't bother arguing with atheists, have only met one though, in the end we will know.

However, deep deep down, they have a witness in their heart that there is God.

when you consider the society they are it's necessary. Their to die is not yet to come so they need such guards. Even Jesus escaped when he was about to be killed when he hasn't started anything. Because of the large number of the people those pastors are leading, God has preserved them to keep preaching.

all this one na story,if heaven is better than earth, your pastors should not be afraid of dying na but reverse is the case, they want to remain on Earth so they can continue to cash out from gullible zombies.

The atheists of Nigeria are 900 thousand people currently and growing especially as more Nigerians move to the cities and as public security starts cracking down more and more on jihadism and fundamentalist Islam as time passes means Nigeria is gonna become increasingly secular as time passes. Thoughts on this trend?
thought on this? You deluded. "Leave me let me sin in peace" thats another name for atheism
