A whole BA delayed our flight and never apologized to anybody. Even those that couldnt wait and booked another flight later filed for reimbursement and didn't get it, they cited the fact that the flight later left, that they ought to have waited.

Ideally, airlines are not meant to delay or cancel flights without tendering apologies to their customers, just that we overlook too many things in Nigeria.

From the look of things, the Emir's cousin is a pilot and he knows the rules which he can use against Allen Onyema's Air peace and get the airline sanctioned, so the ideal thing would be for Air peace management to tender the apology to not only the Emir but everyone affected.

Actually it was the other way round... The emir call and requested that his flight be delay for one hour so that he can meet up as he was late... The airline put a call to their chairman who contacted the airport and was told the it is too late as the plane was about taxing.... So the sin of air peace is that they chose to do the right thing ...image you are in that flight being delayed for an hour because someone is above the law?
This is the reason this country is in this mess

Isa Bayero has insulted the Emir and entire Kano Emirate. Ne needs to be sacked. How could he tell the world that the Emirate can not afford private jet or a chartered flight for the influential Emir. I am sure, if he had approached the Chairman of Air Peace, he could have granted the Emir a chartered flight because he is a well known philanthropist. that would have saved the Emir this embarrassment. Isa needs to be cautioned if not sacked. What about using Kano Emirate Airline or a chartered jet. please we are yet to come back from Ukraine.

I think what happened is this.

The Emir was coming from the Gambia to Lagos through an Air Peace flight. Air Peace delayed the flight, thereby making the Emir late for his second Air Peace flight from Lagos to Kano.

Now, the Emir's houseboy told Air Peace to delay the flight from Lagos to Kano since Air Peace was the cause of the delay from Gambia to Lagos, Air Peace refused.

Keep looking for sympathy.

That is the story: same Air Peace delayed flight from Banjul to Lagos for hours knowing the same passengers are going to use the flight from Lagos to Kano.

Read the salient points: departure on Air Peace flight no. P47776 from Banjul to Lagos was scheduled for 00:10hrs (local time) on February 24, 2022. However, we departed Banjul at 01:19hrs and we landed at Lagos at 5:45am.

“Our connecting flight to Kano on the same Air Peace airline was for 6:15hrs. This gave us only 30 minutes to make our flight to Kano.

Read further: the airline had also demanded a no show fees for a rebooking of next flight to Kano, a request the prince described as “extreme case of insensitivity and callousness”.

Air Peace statement avoided to respond to the above damning poor customer service, hence it is glaring Air Peace is wrong and should apologize.
