Maybe when the "bandits" attack the airports again they'd suspend flights and everyone would be forced to use the roads. 3 Likes |

Events in and around kaduna in the past few days have shown that every other thing is secondary to security. It’s time for the government to quit self deceit and tackle this security issue head-on. |

Joke of a country, you don't cut off your head because of headache rather you treat the ailment. If it happens in the East, it would have turn to Ukrain vs Russia by now. |

JosephXavier: You are right. Why rail line to Niger would make more sense to this government instead of to the east baffles me. Imagine night train to port harcourt from lagos. Good night lagos, good morning port harcourt. Nigeria’s problem started with the 1966 crises. Prior to that time, every single department in Nigeria was manned by British trained experts, especially the rail and airline. During the crises, many technocrats (most of whom were igbo) were forced to leave in a hurry. Mediocres were now employed to replace them. To spoil everything completely, they introduced quota system. That was how the potential giant of africa became the epidemic of the black nation o my people. 1 Like |

We like putting the cart before the horse in this country. Abuja Kaduna route; whether by road or rail has not been safe for years! But the FGN and the KD govt have not done anything tangible to make that route safe. It was funny people were thinking that the rail operation would thwart the kidnappers and criminals along that route. It was only a matter of time before the criminals figured out a way to perpetuate their evil. Those who also thought that by using airplane they would thwart the kidnappers, shey you people know that criminals have take over KD airport? So once you land they are there to welcome you. There must be security first before things can move forward. 2 Likes |
