Honestly I don't understand our mentality today, If you want tattoos or piercings go for it just try to make sure it doesn't influence your attitude.
Not having tattoos and piercings is not the base for being a sensible or responsible human... So many stupid and heartless people guise under religion and tradition which has not gotten this country anywhere.
Religion is a plague... Tackle that instead

Go and rent your own apartment and act as you wish. Even professional jobs and offices wont hire you if your tattoo is visible.

The untrained children of yesteryears have become parents today, so what do you expect from today's parents who were not trained by their own parents? You cannot give what you don't have.

Good mothers mean well but it takes a while for a child to understand.

Also the Bible says we should teach a child in the way he should go so that he/she will not depart from it.

Most things that appear unimportant could actually have a long term impact on our lives. It's a mother's duty to see ahead and fight all necessary battles physically and spiritually if need be. Sadly the days of communal life are gone so a mum has to double her efforts in the training of her child. People don't want anyone interfering in their lives so children tend to behave as they wish outside the home unlike in the past. Great pity that it's having a negative impact on society. Too many unruly kids!

Anyway omo to ni iya oun o ni sun, oun na o ni foju kan oorun. (A child who says his mother will not sleep will stay awake too.)

Catch them young. Be intentional about raising your children right such that Peer pressure or vices never get to them.

If you can successfully raise your children in the way of the Lord and they never deviate from it. You have succeeded as a parent and done your homework well.

If only people can have the tattoos and be HUMBLE like Footballer Lionel Messi.
