QueenEsther1:Understanding, according to Jesus Christ, comes from using even the little understanding you already have - Matthew 13 vs 12 and Mark 4 vs 22 - 24 and Matthew 25 vs 29. You can pray until you are blue in the face, but the only way to get understanding from God is to begin by using the understanding He has already given you, even if it is simply human language comprehension skills. Lack of understanding of scripture is born of a refusal to obey God's teachings and commandments, and this is the very reason why people go around injecting their personal delusions as interpretation for scripture where God has required none. To understand scripture, one simply needs to open one's eyes and mind to accept what is written as is written. |

Kobojunkiee: In Proverbs 3:5–6, we read this counsel: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” |

The Holy Bible is a book that is well loaded with information. A preacher can actually take only one verse in a chapter and give a very long expository teaching. Another preacher can take the same verse and simply browse through and move on. |

QueenEsther1: Depending on each person's understanding of the message |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 8:15pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:So, is what is written in Proverbs 3 vs 5 - 6 somehow meant to counter what is Jesus Christ's direct commandment to you which is that you use the understanding you have, in order that more will be given to you? 21 Then Jesus said to them, “You don’t take a lamp and hide it under a bowl or a bed, do you? Of course not. You put it on a lampstand.... 10 The followers came to Jesus and asked, “Why do you use these stories to teach the people?”.... 28 “So the master told his other servants, ‘Take the one bag of money from that servant and give it to the servant who has ten bags.... 25 “The men said to the king, ‘But sir, that servant already has ten bags of money.’ |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 8:39pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: Christ is insinuating that you are blessed to be a blessing. That's why he said that a lamp is not meant to be covered up instead, it is to be put up to give light to all. "Take heed what you hear": means diligently attend to it, seek to understand it, and lay it up in your minds and memories, that it may be of use to you in time to come, and you may be useful in communicating it to others. Matthew 13:12 NLT To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them. NLT: New Living Translation |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 8:43pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:1. There is no mention of the word "blessing" in any of the contexts, so be careful not to twist what is written to suit the narrative you prefer. You are asked to carefully process and use what you glean from what you hear. So, please go over what is written in that context as it is, so you can understand exactly what Jesus Christ is in fact saying from that which you seem to want Him to be saying instead. As for blessings, Jesus Christ more than made it clear in His teachings that those who are blessed in HIs Kingdom are those who obey His teachings and commandments, not just anyone who brandishes claims of believing in Him. So please be careful what you subscribe to using the Name of Jesus Christ. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 8:45pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Please refer to my earlier message, we don't need to argue about the scriptures. Instead, pray to God to reveal the truth to you through the power of the Holy Spirit. Note: Jesus Christ confirmed the scriptures. He knew the scriptures, he very well understood the scriptures and even used the scriptures to overcome the devil during his temptation. Good night |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 8:47pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:God never said you have to pray for His Truth to be revealed as you have probably been thought by your pastors and mogs. Instead, God made it clear, even through Parables, that it is by using that which you have that you will be able to receive more. Those who refuse to use what they have will not be given more. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 8:51pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: May you grow in grace and in the knowledge of the truth. When a lamp is lighted and put on a lamp stand, it gives light to all. So also, when a person is blessed, he is meant to be a blessing to others too. Ye are the light of the world. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 8:56pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: We are admonished to pray without ceasing. Even Christ promised to send the Holy Spirit John 14:16-17 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 8:59pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:Open your eyes to see what Jesus Christ is telling you even in that verse which you conveniently lift out of context to say that which it doesn't mean. Jesus Christ, even in that, is telling you that you need to use that which you have been given, not hide it like the ungrateful servant who dug the ground and hid the talents he was given by his master. The lamp shouldn't be hidden under the bed but used to light up the place so that others can benefit from it too. Again, He is asking you to use the understanding you have, and it is only then that more understanding will be given to you. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 9:00pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1: When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. John 16:13 English Standard Version |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:01pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:You are indeed asked to pray without ceasing, but no amount of praying will change what God has declared to be the way to receive even understanding from Him. If you refuse to use the understanding He has given you, you will not more understanding from Him no matter how ceaselessly you pray for it. Obedience, not prayer, is the key in the Kingdom of God. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:04pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:Recall that Jesus Christ told you in John 14 vs 6 that He is the way, the TRUTH, and the Life? Well, the one who is the Spirit of Truth is the very Spirit that was in Jesus Christ when He was here on earth, and as Jesus Christ clearly informed you in John 16 vs 1 - 15, the Spirit of Truth, His Spirit, who comes after He is gone, will take from what is the Truth of Jesus Christ to give to you. So, if you think the Spirit of Truth came to change that which was decreed by Jesus Christ while He was on earth, you have another thing coming for you. |

Kobojunkiee: Let me ask you: Did the Ethiopian Eunuch read the scriptures? Did he understand what he was reading? Did God use someone else to explain the scriptures to him? |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 9:09pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: The spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit. When you pray for understanding, God gives you the outpouring of the Spirit to help you understand. |

Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 9:21pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
I believe that the significance of the teaching of the talents is for us believers to go out and work for Christ and win souls to God. Try and reach out to people who have not accepted Christ and win them over. Like the Apostles and the early christians and even the missionaries did. They left the comfort of their homes and came to Africa. Some of these missionaries were killed and their flesh eaten by African natives back then. These people are examples of the people who received the Gospel message and weren't selfish with it. They gained more souls for Christ. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:22pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:Sure, the Spirit of Truth is the Spirit of Jesus Christ, God's Truth. And again, no amount of praying will circumvent that which God has decreed that you do in order to receive from Him. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:25pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:That statement in bold is not what Jesus Christ told you as He made clear the lesson of His telling you that Parable clearly in the context. And the message is clear "Everyone who uses what they have will get more. They will have much more than they need. But people who do not use what they have will have everything taken away from them.’" This is the statement in Matthew 25 vs 29 and Luke 19 vs 26 . Once you begin to add your own interpretation to that which is written, not only have you veered away from the teachings of Jesus Christ, but you guarantee that you will remain blind to His Truth for longer. Jesus Christ made it known from the beginning that those who belong to Him, those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments- John 14 vs 15 - 20. Those who are His friends are those who do as He asks - John 15 vs 14. So, if you instead follow the examples of those you refer to as His apostles, you delude yourself because He never asked you to do any of that, to begin with. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:28pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:Why should I care about an Ethiopian Eunuch? God has made scripture available to each and every one of us in this time and age, yet rather than read and learn, you instead seek to have someone hold your hand. |

Kobojunkiee: Have you not heard about the various crowns believers will get as their reward? The overcomes crown The soul winner crown The crown of glory e.t.c Have you not heard of stars on your crown? |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 9:33pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: My point remains that you can read the scriptures and understand or you can read and yet not understand what you are reading. So, one needs to always pray for understanding. In all thy getting, get wisdom. We pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from the Almighty God. |

If good people are going to heaven Why did Psalms 37:29 says otherwise Why did Jesus says some are going to heaven why others will enjoy life on earth Mathew 5:3,5. If people don die & wept in heaven, where will people enjoy this blessings in Revelation 21:4 |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:35pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:ROFLMAO Where in the Gospels did Jesus Christ in fact promise you a crown, to begin with? The Kingdom belongs to Jesus Christ, right, so if there is a crown waiting for you, He must have announced it in His teachings. So can you point to exactly where any of those crowns you mention were indicated by Jesus Christ? |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by Kobojunkiee: 9:37pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
QueenEsther1:No one is saying you shouldn't read the scriptures. What I am saying is you have to obey that which Jesus Christ decreed in order to receive that which you desire from Him. There is no way around that. Even where it concerns prayer, there are laws to be obeyed in order to receive answers from God. if you don't obey those laws, don't expect any answers from God. |
Re: HEAVEN: A Prepared Place For Prepared People. by QueenEsther1: 9:41pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
Kobojunkiee: He did. The great commission is for all believers not just for his disciples back then okay. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. King James Version |
